AN AMAZON TOP 25 BESTSELLERIn the power struggle between two elite groups, one feisty girl will bring them to their knees… me when I turn eighteen.
But, behind closed doors, I plot my escape.
Trent, Charlie, and my twin, Drew, rule the hallways of Rydeville High with arrogance and an iron fist. I execute my role perfectly, hating every second, but they never let me forget my place in this world.
Everyone obeys the rules. They have for generations. Because our families have always been in control.
Until Cam, Sawyer, and Jackson show up. Throwing their new money around. Challenging the status quo. Setting hearts racing with their gorgeous faces, hot bodies, and bad boy attitudes.
Battle lines are drawn. Sides are taken. And I’m trapped in the middle, because I made a mistake one fateful night when I gave my V-card to a stranger in a blatant F you to my fiancé.
I thought it was the one thing I owned. A precious memory to carry me through each dark day.
I couldn’t have been more wrong.
Because the stranger was Camden Marshall, leader of the new elite and my perpetual tormenter. He hates me with a passion unrivaled, and he won’t be the only one. Fire will rain down if the truth is revealed, threatening alliances, and the power struggle will turn vicious.
My life will hang in the balance.
But I’ll be ready, and I’m not going down without a fight.

Wow! Abby and her brother have a painful life. Their father is the terrible disgusting person and I hope by the end of the series he gets what he deserves. One thing is sure with this book. It will keep you turning the page.
Wow, couldn’t put it down even when my heart was breaking. Spectacular book!
This is book 1 of 3 and needs to be read as a trilogy, but believe me, you won’t be disappointed!
Some authors can drag out a trilogy going over old ground, but not this author, she has you on the end of your seat with this series.
The existing ‘elite’ of Rydeville High Trent, Charlie and Drew) are challenged when a new ’elite’ (Cam, Sawyer & Jackson) land in town and to say they shake things up is an understatement!
I’m not ashamed to say I binge read this series in a couple of days – it’s that good!
Abby is a strong character, a fighter that you want to fight right alongside. Coming from a wealthy powerful family you would think she has it all, but she’s also a victim, a pawn in her Father’s plans.
I was sent this Advanced Readers Copy a while ago and just couldn’t get into it. Several months later, I can back and pushed myself through the first chapter and eventually the entire book.
I really enjoyed Abigail and Cam’s journey, not so much the humiliation and ‘elite’ group part. I feel like there wasn’t a really good balance between everything going on with Abigail and the group and Cam’s mission.
This series really has some potential, I’m excited to see where it goes!
Okay so I was so not expecting to be completely unable to put this book down! Betrayal, lies, drama, angst, hot as hell alpha males, and plot twists like crazy! Total page turner, I just had to know what happened next. Literally lost a nights sleep but not complaining! It does end in a cliff hanger but thankfully for my sake I am so behind on my list of books to be read and the next book is series is already out….so time to dive in to the next read! Siobhan Davis never disappoints!!
Triggers? Yes!
Surprises around every corner? HELL YES!
Holy S**t Moments? Everywhere in this book!!
This book is NOT for everyone. But it is AMAZING!!! So much hurt, betrayal and anger!! It is only the first book and I am soo not done! I’m in it for the long haul and can’t wait to find out how Abby is going to get her revenge!! I hurt for her and want that Sweet Retribution!!! I am so angry for Abby!! So many feels!!
Aaarrrrgggg!!! So much pain and anguish. Siobhan has written a book that has made me so crazy!!! I need to know how this ends!!!!
When I first started reading this book I couldn’t put it down. The characters jumped out at me and captured me. I love the way the story comes to life. This is one of my favorites besides the Kennedy boys!!!!
Wow! This was an angsty book. Following Cam and Abby’s secret night where she loses her virginity to him, comes this story where everything is all secrets and lies. The ending shocked the crap out of me, and I can’t wait to see what comes next. That cliffhanger was brutal!
“If you’re going to kiss her every time she sasses you, you’ll be doing nothing else.”
I love a good bully romance and now Cruel intentions is at the top of my list!!
I admired how Abby stood up for herself, she’s feisty and I adored the snarky sass she would dish out to the boys. I’m not a big fan of the h cowering so I really appreciated A being a badass. Now lets talk about Cam. Why bully asshole jerks are my favorite I will never know, but Cam definitely fits in that category. He’s downright mean at times (don’t worry, A holds her own) and yet I still loved everything about him. Abby and Cam had really good chemistry and I really enjoyed the push and pull between the two. If you’re looking for a good highschool bully romance with a lot of added drama I reccomend this one for sure.
“Unlucky for you, I’m addicted to the asshole. I couldn’t ditch him even if I wanted to.” “Aw, you say the sweetest things.”
Side note: Jackson is adorable (totally pervy) but absolutely one of my favorites
I came across this series by accident
I was in a book slump and though I downloaded it, it still took a couple of weeks before I finally cracked the pages
Holly chit!! I was addicted instantly!
From the first scene to the last I devoured every twisted moment – every cruel act – every deceptive touch
I was there with Abby
Rooting her on Encouraging her not to let them win
Abby – she knew how to play the game.
Drew – Abby’s twin brother. He was in some ways a victim of circumstances like Abby but not? I think because he knew it would all be his someday he turned a blind eye to the darker events surrounding his father and Trent
Trent – I hope you get an incurable STD
Cam – royal arse with a vendetta!
There are some major plot twists and character revelations towards the end that I do not want to risk spoiling
This is a fast-paced easy to follow story line that will at times test your will power- no peeking ahead!
There are some scenes of humiliation, violence and overall really evil behavior – But somewhere in between all the darkness there are rays of light, small moments of hope
This ends on a pretty big cliff hanger
Never fear though as the next in series is already available
I’m off to devour that now
4.5 massive clusterfuck stars!
Ok, so I’ve just finished this book and my mind is blown! I’m going to try and write a review that doesn’t give anything away.
The first thing that I will say is this book is full of triggers… there are some really dark themes in this book.
I was anxious the whole way through and then there were a couple of chapters that really tested me and made me feel sick in the pit of my stomach. Anyone that reads my reviews knows that I love dark romance and it takes ALOT to shock me… so take my warning and be prepared as this is no where near an easy read.
This is a high school bully romance with a twist.
So to start we have Trent, Drew and Charlie who make up the old Elite. Drew is Abby’s twin brother. They are the Elite and the run the school.
Then you have their rivals the New Elite that are made up of Camden, Jackson and Sawyer and they are new to the school. There is a big rivalry between them and that’s part of the mystery.
Abby is the girl caught into between both sets of Elite’s and how this story plays out and why this story plays out in the way it does is brilliantly shocking.
There is a lot of mystery surrounding this plot and a lot of questions that you will want answering. I still have loads of questions now. All I’m doing now as I’m writing this is trying to figure out what the fuck I’ve just read and trying to piece it all together.
The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because of some of the stuff that happened in the book is a serious topic and (without giving away spoilers) I felt like it was sometimes brushed over and not treated seriously.
This book is brutal, toxic, disturbing, filled with moments that will shock you, betrayal that you don’t see coming, angst, back and forth that will have you pulling your hair out and moments where you will want to give up because you just can’t read about any more bad stuff happening to the heroine.
My advice.
Push through.
It’s 100% worth it.
Yes I was messaging my blogger friends in shouty caps, but when a book has you THAT invested, you know every moment you swore, was sweating and felt sick was totally worth it.
Go and read it… if you dare.
**Adult content with triggers.**
Holy smokes my heart was pounding in my chest while reading this one. I felt like I was in Abby’s shoes walking through her dark dangerous life. From the fear, humiliation and sexual tension you will be in for the ride of your life. You can feel the fear, pain, anger, sadden and just straight up insanity of the characters in this book. And it ends in a cliffhanger to be continued in follow up book in August.
This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I’m heading straight into the bonus chapters of Ruse.
This book is a page turner, loads of twists and turns, betrayal from people that should love you and protect you, old money versus new money rivalry, plotting and scheming to get what they want. But who can you really trust when intentions are not always what they seem?
This book ends on a cliffhanger, after Ruse I’m heading straight to Twisted Betrayal.
Loved Abby and Cam’s story. It didn’t read like a HS romance there was so much going on that I really felt like the characters where college level or older. Even though it’s starts out as a bully romance there is no denying the push and pull between Cam and Abby that quickly morphs into something more.
However the horrible vile things her so called “father” does to Abby are something no child should ever have to endure. Abby takes the abuse with her head held high and plots her revenge.
The book ends on one heck of a cliffhanger that I could not wait to get my hands on the second book Twisted Betrayal where Abby and Kia’s story continues.
Fantastic read could not put it down!!
Love this author so much never disappointed but this is by far my favourite can’t wait for the next 1
I loved this book as well as everything else I have read by Siobhan. I am counting the days and holding my breath waiting on the next book. Readers need to remember that she states it is a dark bully romance and that some things maybe triggers for some people.
Siobhan Davis is a new-to-me author, and Cruel Intentions was my first book by her.
I honestly feel a little tongue-tied right now because I’m in this weird post-book space after I binged the crap out of it. I’m still riding that high that this story gave me—days later! The tension and chemistry between these characters are off the charts. I loved the angst—gimme all the angst! The author has created a lifelong fan with this book, and I can’t recommend it enough. One-click this book today; you won’t regret it!
This book is an emotional rollercoaster. There r so many ups and downs and talk about twist. This book is so far from predictable.
Abby Is one tough chick, she doesn’t take crap from anyone. She’s been put thru the ringer and life just keeps from her curve balls.
This book captivated me from the very start and hooked me. I didn’t wanna put it down.
This book was written with so much emotion, whilst the story has taboo/controversial topics it’s written with raw yet tender moment’s . The MC is put in a position that she just can’t get out of. She’s also manipulated by one she cares for. Whist I know there will be people who do not like this book because of the dark side to it, it is a good book. It is epic and you are completely blindsided by the ending. A MUST READ!!!
Love hate this book= it’s so good you can’t put down but makes you want to shout into/at it…
I absolutely loved the ups and downs in this book. The tension and slow burn was done so perfectly. I wanted to strangle Cam and wrap myself around him at the same time throughout the entire book. So many surprises in this one. Family, Friendships, and Romance all at the forefront.
