AN AMAZON TOP 25 BESTSELLERIn the power struggle between two elite groups, one feisty girl will bring them to their knees… me when I turn eighteen.
But, behind closed doors, I plot my escape.
Trent, Charlie, and my twin, Drew, rule the hallways of Rydeville High with arrogance and an iron fist. I execute my role perfectly, hating every second, but they never let me forget my place in this world.
Everyone obeys the rules. They have for generations. Because our families have always been in control.
Until Cam, Sawyer, and Jackson show up. Throwing their new money around. Challenging the status quo. Setting hearts racing with their gorgeous faces, hot bodies, and bad boy attitudes.
Battle lines are drawn. Sides are taken. And I’m trapped in the middle, because I made a mistake one fateful night when I gave my V-card to a stranger in a blatant F you to my fiancé.
I thought it was the one thing I owned. A precious memory to carry me through each dark day.
I couldn’t have been more wrong.
Because the stranger was Camden Marshall, leader of the new elite and my perpetual tormenter. He hates me with a passion unrivaled, and he won’t be the only one. Fire will rain down if the truth is revealed, threatening alliances, and the power struggle will turn vicious.
My life will hang in the balance.
But I’ll be ready, and I’m not going down without a fight.

I absolutely loved this book. I was captivated from beginning to end and I cannot wait for the next book to come out.
Excuse me while I pick my jaw up off the floor. I love this author, and her books always pack a punch. But this one took it to a whole other level. I felt like all the men were competing to prove who was the worst most evil in existence, and I went back and forth on Cam base on his actions. But that ending?!? I don’t know who to trust, and I just need Abigail to be okay. I seriously cannot get over the madness of that final scene. OMG I need the next book ASAP.
***I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary ARC of this book.***
Siobhan is known for her emotional, tear-jerking, great plot twists books, Cruel Intentions is no exception. However, here are a few more emotions that popped up while I was reading; stunned, shocked, appalled, stomach-churning-but-couldn’t-look-away-intensity and I had to keep reading because I was now addicted.
These were a new emotions for me. Reading this level of darkness and then the need to continue reading it was new. I can’t say I’m normally a fan of dark romance, but Siobhan fed me this trope in a way that I had to keep reading it, I was an instant addict, much in the the same way Abigail felt in seeking vengeance to everyone in her life who had caused her pain, even though she continued to get abused.
“How is it I crave the thing I hate the most?’ he whispers, his mouth moving to my jaw. “How do you do that? Make he want you when I despise you?”
Cruel Intentions ia a dark romance set in high school. There are a lot of adult themes; abuse, toxic relationships, blackmail, bullying…to just to name a few, but it’s a story of old money vs. new money. One were the children are pitted against each other all based on rules set by their parents and their parents parents and so forth. Abigail is set right in the middle of a battle, she is a pawn and she constantly tries to change her position on the board to become queen.
Abigail is the prime example of how in this world, women have little to no power. Women are only as good as their family name, the state of their virginity, and should be seen and not heard. Abigail Manning hates the world she lives in, but puts of the facade while she has to live in it.
We meet Abby at a very low point in her life, along with her savior, who unbeknownst to her is also her worst nightmare.
“I’m drowning in Camden Marshall, both hating and loving it at the same time.”
Cruel Intentions is a dark and twisted story filled with a circle of people that you don’t know who to trust. This is Abby’s everyday life; mistrust, deceit, vengeance. Welcome to Rydeville High.
Wow… I think this is one of my new favourite series and it only the first book.
Wow the audio was even better than when I read it the first time and it is one of my new favourite series.
Addictive from start to finish.. an amazing cliff hanger which I am so excited to see where next book begins.
I loved Cam and Abby.. OMG the feels for them. Even when he was mean I loved him, couldn’t help it! Jackson so funny and would love to know his story.
I thought Kennedy boys series couldn’t be beaten but this has hit it out the park and it going to be one of my favourite series of all time. I will be rereading constantly!
It a must read it you love angst, angry men, strong heroine, mix emotions and confusion your in for a ride with this book!!!!
OMG! Yes!!!! I am already totally in love with this series! Dark high school bully romance is my jam and Siobhan Davis knows exactly how to write it! The old money Elite vs the new money Elite! So many mind blowing discoveries! So much betrayal! And Abigail’s Dad is a complete f*cking a**hole! Like that doesn’t even cover what he is. This book is sort of a Romeo and Juliet style. It’s twisted and intense! I can’t get enough!
This is my first book by this author and I have to say it won’t be my last. I’ve just downloaded 4 other of her books! I love this book and I couldn’t put it down. Another sleepless night bc I was up reading.
This is a dark bully read. It will keep you turning the pages. Secrets, lies & twists at every turn! Fabulous read!!
Cruel Intentions is one of those books that pulls you in a makes time fade, I started this book and the next thing I knew, it was over and I was needing more! This books is somewhat of an enemies to lovers book with some hardcore bullying…maybe even an aspect that could be a trigger for some.
Overall I loved the characters, they were definitely original and were so much more than we were led to believe when we started reading. There were so many secrets in this story, you never knew who was trustworthy and who wasn’t, and just when you thought you could breathe easy because someone proved themselves loyal, the rug would get pulled from under is metaphorically at every turn. This book was a great start to what seems will be an amazing series with such a tragic, yet intoxicating journey that will unfold brilliantly. You definitely want to read this book…there series really.
Unbelievable sums up my entire reaction to this book.
I wasn’t sure what I was in for when I first picked up this book but now after reading it I am glad I made the right decision. The storyline was insane from the very beginning to the very end of it. It had so many twists and turns my mind was spinning the whole time I was reading it!
I will say my favourite character was the main character and not just because she was the main character but how she dealt with every situation thrown her way. She was tenacious and brilliant with it all!
The author was very skilled in how she wrote the book, not giving anything away at any moment to allow the reader to fully enjoy the story!
I can’t wait to read the next one!
So I read this book when it was released and never did a review for it, a total injustice to this awesome book. Siobhan knocks it out of the park with this dark bully romance. It has every thing you want, gorgeous men, badass heroine, twisted societies and dark underworld of debauchery.
So, back to the gorgeous men, not one but two groups, going head to head. Good vs evil, or so it seems. The prize…. Abigail Hearst-Manning. But Abby doesn’t want to be the prize. She wants to burn it all done and forge her own path. I couldn’t put this book down, there was no sleep until this book was finished. A big 5 stars for Cruel Intentions and one of my top 5 series must reads.
Let me start by saying this book is very different from my usual fare. I generally avoid YA and high school stories because those stories feel weird to me. I honestly only gave it a shot because of the title (the Reese-Ryan movie is one of my all-time faves), which is unusual for me but I’m so glad I gave this series a chance. This was also my first bully romance and by far the darkest thing I’ve ever read under the romance banner. It really had all the hallmarks of something I was going to drop about three chapters in, but I was obsessed with this story.
I can’t even really explain what spurred the initial interest because this story is weird but I was hooked from the beginning. Abby isn’t all that likable at first although to be fair, nobody is in the beginning of this story. They’re a bunch of spoiled rich jerks torturing each other for sport so not very sympathetic. But as I slowly learned the horrors of Abby’s life, I just wanted to see her kicking everyone’s ass. This was a nail-biter for me because I didn’t know what to expect. Sometimes you get happily ever after and other times the hero dies and the monster gets the heroine so I had concerns.
There were some slow parts but the pacing is good overall and that’s important here because there’s a metric shit ton of stuff going on in this book so there’s no time to waste. Once or twice, I even had to scroll back to re-read an earlier section because I stayed up way too late reading and couldn’t keep it all straight in my head. Abby lives in a bizarre world of elite families that rule everything and her life is pre-planned. She’s only in high school but is already engaged to some complete dick because that’s how things are done when you’re elite. This is one of those stories where it’s tough to tell who the enemy is at times. You’ll hate everyone at some point but some of the characters do end up having redeeming qualities and you’ll fall in love with a few of them.
When the description says dark take that to heart. There’s a lot of sexual assault in this story but these characters and their world are so crazy out there, none of that bothered me the way it might in a more realistic setting. So many terrible things happen to Abby, I was invested because I just wanted to see her kicking ass and taking names, because she’s nobody’s puppet.
You’ll get whiplash from the twists here but won’t mind at all. It’s safe to say most readers won’t guess where things are headed in these books because they’re that crazy so you will be surprised. There’s a love-hate relationship with Cam in the beginning but he’s impossible to hate after that because their relationship is hot. Like scorching. And dirty and descriptive and just very well done. He’s not the only one though, I reassessed my feelings about various characters multiple times because so much happens and lots of it is quite drastic.
My only complaint about this book is that it ended in a cliffhanger which is just a no for me, but the full series had been released already by the time I discovered it, so I was able to proceed. And proceed I did, devouring all three books with an insatiable appetite to see how it ends.
I love Siobhan ‘s books but what can I say wow this was amazing. Could not put this down, the twist and turn and the characters draw you in. So much is hapening your on the edge of your seat or shouting at the characters loved the cliffhanger at the end and cannot wait for the next book. This is a most read bully romance admission worthy to xx
I’ve been so bookhungover since I finished these amazing and so damn captivating books from @siobhandavisauthor !! I actually had to keep away from reading a few days to heal my bookhungover, my emotions and my head. It was spinning!
5/5
How can I start to review these books? I can only start by saying, oh hot damn. What a rollercoaster! This is so much more than just a high school bully romance. There’s a lot happening and I couldn’t stop reading when I started. These books kept me awake at night, they kept my mind and body occupied from doing anything else but reading.
I will not spoil anything from this books other than that the main heroine in this book, Abby, is one hell of a girl!
I just habe to say it; READ THESE BOOKS, and you will understand why I’ve been so damn bookhungover for the past days
That was hawt!!
Holy moly what a ride this book is !
It’s nasty and dark and gritty but if you don’t mind a bully romance full of big triggers, twists and a big fat question mark over who’s trustworthy or not then this book is definitely for you !!
Abby is the daughter of a powerful rich man who is also part of a group they call the founding fathers or the exclusive ‘elite ‘ of the town they live in .
Their kids are also part of the elite , they run their school with intimidation and manipulative tactics and no one falls out of line or they face the consequences . That is until a meeting group of rich kids turn up and start making waves . Abby is left alone to run the school while the elite guys have to go off to ‘camp’ or training or something (that remains a mystery ) and the new guys do not go easy on her .
Like I said before there’s lots of twists throughout the book and the end is a cliffy leaving you needing and wanting more of the story !
Great start to the series and I’m off to read more now !!
This is the first book in the series Rydeville Elite #1 and it is absolutely gripping right from the get go. This authors writing style is amazing and I love how she writes. This book is a dark/ bully romance and is full to the brim with secrets, lies twist, turns and some shockers and is a real page turner.
Abby has and still is going through so much with a very cruel and nasty and totally controlling father I really feel for her. Yeah she’s done questionable things but I think she’s only done them to survive. After the death of there mum her and her twin Drew have a lot to indure with what there father expects and but Abby does not make it easy. She is very feisty and I love that about her but with an arranged marriage on the cards she will not take this lying down and she is determined to find out what all the secret and lies are. Cam is a hot guy but he also has his own agenda and a way if doing things. He is part of the new elite with Sawyer and Jackson and they cause a lot of trouble with the old elite guys Drew, Charlie and Trent and the one thing these guys do do is open up Abby’s eyes to what is around her.
I really enjoyed reading this book and I loved all the characters even the secondary ones, I cant wait to see how this seres progresses. Abby and Cam have some serious chemistry and the connection they have is undeniable and they cant take there eyes of each other. I was gripped with this book from the very beginning and I couldn’t put it down, its a great start to the series and I cant wait to read the second book. This book ends on a cliffhanger I I desperately want to start the #2 ASAP!!If you love bully romances then this series is defiantly for you and I highly recommend this author and this book.

First I will say this is fiction for a reason. This is definitely dark and twisted. However, I would classify this as insanity. You’re in for one heck of a ride. There are some questionable scenes in this so please don’t read this if you have any triggers. I need more. I can never get enough. Remarkable job Siobhan.
Loved everything about this book. I couldn’t put it down!
Cruel Intentions Book 1 in the Rydeville Elite series
I must say I was quite surprised while reading the characters POV the story plot sucks you in and I couldn’t put the book down. The emotions behaviors in this book had me feeling so many emotions. Its has a bully theme to the story and I enjoyed reading this book. I also got to read this book on kindle Unlimited program which is awesome. No spoilers here I definitely recommend this book
Starting off the book was hard. All this ‘elite’ stuff was just on a level I did not care to learn about. I was ready to quite the book after the second chapter, but I could not get the story out of my mind. I just felt compelled to know what the story truly was about, and what a decision that was…
The bullying in this book had my anxiety through the roof! I was tempted to stop reading, again, because I just was not sure how much more I could take. Pfft, so glad I kept on reading. The story only got better and better. With all the action going on, my adrenaline spiked to new levels. And that cliffhanger only guaranteed my return for the next book!
Great characters and amazingly interesting story! Worth all the health issues this book can cause.
This book is full of betrayal, heartache, lies, dark moments and yet a thrilling story of a young woman trying to overcome her fate that her father thinks she deserves.
I’m dying! Siobahn Davis has killed me. This book was a pulse pounding thrill ride. There was so many secrets and twists and turns. And I’m dead over that cliffhanger ending. The characters were so well developed I felt like I knew them. The plot was fast paced. I can’t get enough of this story!
