War has come to Faery, and there’s no escaping the final battle. We thought we were ready for anything. We were wrong. I couldn’t change who I was, so Destiny stepped in, forcing me to become what Faery needed to face down our enemies. Can I forgive what happened and move past the lies and betrayals? Or will I destroy a world to bring the man I love to his knees, requiring us to become the … to become the monsters the world wants us to be?
If you’re following the series for the Fae Chronicles, Elite Guards, and Monsters, reading order is as follows.
Fighting Destiny

I am completely and utterly speechless. The finale to the War waging on in Faery is ending.
We get some visitors from our beloved and cherished characters from the Monster books, yay!!! Plus the triplets, wow!!!
This is one hell of an emotional roller coaster. If you are familiar with Ms Hutchin’s work then you know you are in for one hell of an action packed, drama filled, kicka** fight, sassy mouths, bada** females and alpha-hole males. So it’s no shock that this will continue on in this book, as it is the final book in the Fae Chronicles series, so you know exactly what Synthia, Ryder and The Elite Guard are like.
But nothing is going to be able to prepare you for this conclusion. Your mind is going to be bl*wn away, so much happens in this book and you are going to want to scream, shout, kick something, break things and most definitely blame the author. But at the end of the day Ms Hutchins only writes the incident reports. (Her words). But if you take a deep breath and continue reading you will not be disappointed.
I will tell you this not everything is as it seems. So stick it through and it will all make sense. I will also tell you this, have tissues, chocolate and hard liquor (if you drink) on stand by as you are going to need it.
Although this is the end of Synthia and Ryder’s story, Ms Hutchins has already told us that it’s not the end of the Faery characters that we love. We will be returning back to them, as we all need to know how things are going to work out, especially after this ending.
So I will end on this, thank you Ms Hutchins for bringing Ryder and Synthia’s story to life for us, I can say I have loved each and every word. Even the Seelie prison moments before the memories. As this just makes Syn and Ryder’s relationship all the more stronger. I am looking forward to what you will give us in the future for the rest of these characters. And I know I will be returning to this series again and again in the future as Fairy and Pet hold a special place in my heart.
I do love the serie and strongly recommend it. Amelia’s narratives are colorful, fun, hot, and full of plots as well as fights. Her characters are strong and badasses. The settings are definetely a character as they are artistically described. The narrative is greatly woven. The only but for this title is the cliffhanger.
OMG! I am exhausted from this one! And while it is the end of the Destiny series at least we still have many more stories coming from Syn and Ryders world. And still waiting for wtf Lucian is haha. I will not give spoilers in this review but omg. If you have followed this series from book 1 you will think you know what to expect in the way of twisted mind f..ks but you will be wrong! This one goes where no one could even dream or nightmare it could go!
Wow what a great ending! So many twist and turnes, I did not see cooming. Ill miss syn and ryder’s story, they Arne some of my favorit couple i have ever read about. Thank god i have there books and i know i Will still see Them ind the other books to come. I love the worlds amelia has made. Thank your for bringing This story to life.
any of her books are totally awesome!!!
This is the final book in this series, the end of Synthia and Ryder’s story. It’ll take you on a wild ride, with twists and turns. There’s war upon Faery, lives are on the line. Who’s going to come out on the other side of the war when all is done? You’ll have to read to find that out. It’s a fantastic ending with a new beginning for others.
Amelia’s books are always spectacular!
Absolute Must Read
What an ahmazing end to the series. So many very unexpected things happened. I am hoping there will be more books from our Far friends!!!
I guess I never read a book so slow. I didn’t want to finish it. The Fae Chronicles was a first series to introduce me to Amelia and the fae world. I instantly fell in love with Syn and Ryder. I remember how I read the first 4 books in 3 days and then was waiting for Unraveling Destiny to come out. And now I just finished the last book for Synthia and Ryder. I can’t believe it. It’s very hard to say goodbye to them, but I’m glad they got their happily ever after and that we still will see them in other books)))
They both had a long, tough journey with lots of losses, tears and heartbreaks. It wasn’t easy, sometimes it seemed even impossible. Both did a lot of mistakes on the way, but eventually they learnt from them, overcame ever obstacle and came out 1000 times stronger together. Now nothing will ever be able to ruin their love.
So many things happened in this book and so many new stories are coming. Can’t wait to read Zahruk and Kahleena’s story. And I can’t even say which book I want to read first. Both will be epic! But probably I want Zahruk first. He needs to meet his mate who will shatter his whole world to pieces)))
My heart broke for Malachi and Ristan. I hope there will be more for Malachi and eventually we will get his story too. For thousand years he knew only pain and he deserves to find love and be happy!
Ristan((( Well, I won’t give anything away, but his twist broke my heart so much. I think about it every day and it just breaks my heart more and more. I never expected it and don’t think I will ever be over it(((
Thank you Amelia for this amazing world, characters and stories! Can’t wait to meet our heroes again and start new journeys with them!
Wow! Wow! Wow! This book was amazing! This was a great conclusion to a great series. She also left wide open for more books with a bit of a cliff hanger. She did a wonderful job and definitely did her characters justice!
Best ending Ever!
The twists and turns were like a labrynth trying to maneuver but we finally got what we all wanted in the end. Ryder is still my favorite and Syn is still the most awesome warrior to be penned to page. If you haven’t taken the journey starting with Fighting Destiny and you have the stomach to hold on for the ride, I promise you won’t be disappointed.
“It’s sealed in fate and wrapped in your destiny, so deal with it. You can’t fight destiny or taunt it. You can try to escape it, or seduce it, but it will unravel eventually. It won’t let you go until you finally decide to embrace it, and then it will crown you, and you’ll know true happiness.”
There are not enough words for me to describe what Syn and Ryder mean to me and have meant to me over the years. The amount of love that I have for them is endless. The amount of times that I have read their story from start to finish is countless. They are my number 1, my go to, my salvation at times. To be here, to have read this amazing book, to be writing this review is bittersweet for me.
Crowning Destiny is a turbulent ride, with twists and turns that you never saw coming. The revelations that were made were jaw dropping and heartbreaking at the same time. A powerful ending to one of the best series that I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Like all the others before it, I devoured this book as soon as it hit my kindle. I laughed and I cried. I felt those tiny little knives as they stabbed my heart over and over again.
Bravo Ms. Hutchins, Bravo. I give you a standing ovation. The best was saved for last, and you did an absolute amazing job finishing the story for Ryder and Syn. I look forward to more adventures in Faery, even if it is without my favorite King and Queen.
