I absolutelly loved and enjoyed following Logan and Ella’s journey.
Crown of Lies by CD Reiss is a sexy fake marriage/marriage of convenience romance that will get you hooked right from the start.
This is a story beautifully well-crafter, flawless, funny, emotional, intense, entertaining, captivating, fascinating, and both scorching and heart-warming. Main characters and their secondary characters, were very compelling.
Logan recruits Ella to pose as his wife in a fake marriage of convenience, so that they can achieve both of their goals, and dreams on their own terms. However, when passion is starting to burn down their agreement, the flames could destroy their plans, or bring them together for good.
OMG, I just love this couple. They’re not only attracted to each other, but they complement each other. Their chemistry and connection is intense, and I love the way they relationship develops.
I don’t do spoilers, just know that Crown of Lies lived up to every expectation I had, and more!! I cannot wait to get my hands on the next story to come.
I’m speechless! Seriously what do you say about a perfect book, amazing characters and a phenomenal story line??? Buy it, read it, love it!!! Crowne of Lies is romance at its best and so uniquely CD Reiss.
Fake marriage, total opposites, each with an end goal. Funny how things can change.
Logan Crowne and Ella Papillion have united for exactly that, a fake marriage for one year. A business deal that will benefit both to reach their ultimate goals. A fake persona for public appearances, then behind closed doors its seperate rooms, no sex well maybe a couple of times, and definitely no feelings……yeah right. They are like chalk and cheese but as the old saying goes opposites attract and when the chemistry is unleashed, BAM it’s on like Donkey Kong.
We first meet Logan in Iron Crowne that features his brother Byron also a stand-alone, he is charming and charismatic, sexy as all get out and a total workaholic. Trust me he will melt the panties right off you. I can safely say that Logan has knocked Bryon out off the top spot with his dirty talk and dominant alpha ways.
Ella has a uniqueness about her and a sassy nature that drew me in. She does things her way and expresses herself through her art and creations. A warrior princess who will fight for what she believes in. As Mrs Logan Crowne, she plays her part as the perfect wife to perfection until it’s not so perfect anymore.
As an added bonus you get a more in-depth look and Logan’s parents and siblings. I loved Ted and Doreen Crowne and how they interact with Logan and Ella, and they have their own story that I think would make interesting reading. Then you have Bianca, the wicked stepmother of Ella but by the end you have to wonder is wicked the right term. All in all though theses secondary character help add to the reading pleasure of this book.
CD Reiss is one author who gets my blood pumping and gives me the tingles when I’m reading her work. Crowne of Lies surpassed all my expectations and is a definite must read.
Marriage of convenience trope are fun. It takes me back to the days when I devour Harlequin romance daily and my favorites were always the marriage of convenience stories. But those stories were short and formulaic and the hero always seems to benefit more than the heroine. In Crowne of Lies, Logan & Ella enter into a marriage of convenience and both hope to benefit from it. Logan wants to officially control the Crowne family business cuz that’s all he’s ever wanted and has been groomed for. While Ella, in order to fulfill a promise, needs to take back control of her family’s Fashion empire.
It was fun to see these two try to keep their marriage as a business arrangement and deny their feelings and attractions to each other. And man, the sex scenes were scorching hot. But even with the sexy and romantic times, I wasn’t always so sure they would find their happily ever after together. However, I shouldn’t have doubt that Ms. Reiss would be able to find a way to bring Logan and Ella’s love story to a satisfying conclusion. And the setup for the next couple surprised me a little (in a good way) cuz I thought it was going to be a different Crowne brother but hey now I’m intrigued and can’t wait for Crowne Rules.
CD Reiss delivers yet another hit in this enthralling fake marriage/marriage of convenience, slow-burn romance. It is told in dual POVs.
We first meet Logan Crowne at the end of Iron Crowne. Logan’s sole focus has been his family’s company. He has been working toward this his entire life. So when his father, Ted Crowne, drops a bomb on him that he needs to get married and settled, try to find a work/life balance. In the meantime, his brother Byron will be taking over the company. If Logan can find a suitable wife, he can take back the full control of his father’s company. Of course, this doesn’t sit well with Logan and he sets out on a course to find a suitable wife who won’t try to take advantage of his situation and finances. He meets Ella Papillion. She is not what he expected but there is something about her that calls to him, and he thinks she’d be the perfect candidate to be his fake fiance/wife. Can Logan keep this arrangement long enough? Will he be able to keep business and pleasure separate?
Ella Papillion. A strong, independent woman with tons of sass and personality. She is not Logan’s type. Far from it actually. When a mutual friend of Logan and Ella presents the idea of a marriage of convenience to Ella, but she is skeptical. The problem is, is that she needs money to get her father’s company back. Will she be able to agree to a one year contract and then walk away when all is said and done?
Crowne of Lies was absolutely amazing! I love CD Reiss’ books! Her writing is superb! What I love most about her books is that none are the same. Her books get better with each one that I read, and she takes me on a journey that I never want to end. Her characters are vivid and true to life. The characters jump off the page and grab your heart. It’s like you can feel all of the hurt, pain, love, and joy they experience. That is the making of a great author to me. I have loved every book I’ve read by her (and that’s a lot). She keeps your attention from beginning to end, & the story is never boring. I highly recommend reading this book.
****ARC generously provided in exchange for an honest review.****
I didn’t think I could love a Crowne more than Byron, but CD Reiss really brought it to the pages again with Logan Crowne. Things started out steamy hot, then went to a slow burn before another heated explosion. Even though this is a fake marriage story, it really didn’t feel like it.
These two are such an unlikely couple but made so much sense. They complimented each other in all the ways they dodnt seem compatible. I felt them struggle as a couple and individually. Both Logan and Ella had more complexity to their characters that first meets the eyes.
Logan and Ella felt real and relatable. I felt Logan’s need to be a better man. He didn’t want to hurt Ella, but was also trying to be true to himself and his passions. Logan was one dirty talking man. There was no way Ella could resist that.
Ella had some serious abandonment issues. She has guarded her heart for so long she didn’t see her feelings for Logan developing.
I love that we got a story with heart and feeling and Logan and Ella were just the people to bring it to us. I cant wait to read more about them as we make our way through the stories of the Crowne family. I will admit at this point, I’m not sure I’ll be able to take Colton. He was totally getting on my nerves in this story.
I enjoyed reading Logan and Ella’s story. It was fun, sweet, and sexy. I’ll admit that at first I had doubts of liking Logan. There were a couple of things that didn’t appeal to me. Mainly his way of thinking, but he made up for it. I loved Ella immediately. She’s a free spirit and the opposite of Logan. However, these two were so right for one another. I loved seeing them fall in love and grow, realizing what they really wanted and needed.
In this book we learned more about the Crownes and a couple of surprising revelations. I’m hoping there’s more to one of them. It can’t be thrown in there and be forgotten or dismissed.
Crowne of Lies isn’t like other marriage of convenience romances I’ve read before. Reiss adds her own touch to it.
]I love a good fake marriage romance! I don’t know why, but they’re just fun reading! Logan and Ella were really likable characters too! Ella was quirky, trying to be normal for Logan’s family. It had a nice slow burn in the middle too. All in all, a very enjoyable book!! Definitely recommend!
Business, not pleasure…that’s exactly what this marriage of convenience between Logan Crowne and Ella Papillon in C.D. Reiss’ Crowne of Lies is supposed to be, but as the story illustrates throughout the story due to the push and pull between the hero and heroine, it’s extremely difficult not to let emotions reign when they’re forced to make a life altering decision for a future that deals in numbers, financial stability, and success, not passion, intimacy, or love.
The development of Logan and Ella’s relationship as more than a mutually beneficial union is a slow burn, which aptly fits the situation that these two find themselves in. At first glance, Logan and Ella are about as opposite as they come and it shows, not only in their outward appearances, but in their personalities as well. He’s straight-laced, controlled, and logical while she is free-spirited, unconventional, and creative. They most definitely are not each other’s type, but what becomes clear fairly quickly is that they fit together in a way that they never have with anyone else. So when faking it no longer works and lines are crossed and desires explored, things become complicated and emotional, and so damn confusing that either the lies will consume them or set them free.
Throughout Crowne of Lies, Logan and Ella are equally frustrating, not because they’re living a lie, but because they won’t admit the truth…they won’t say how they feel or what they truly want as each month goes by. And for two highly intelligent and perceptive individuals, they’re fairly dense when it comes to emotions, especially ones that they have no control over nor any assurance that everything will work out as it’s supposed to even while putting forth their best efforts.
In any fictitious situation, there comes a point when it’s difficult to separate the truth from the lies, and as their marriage progressed, Logan and Ella’s sham of marriage became something more than show…something more than a duty to fulfill…a role to play in order to acquire the end game they both wanted. But turning every lie into a truth isn’t something either of them knew how to do, and because of that, things between them become tenuous and reach a breaking point – one that will either lead them to a happily ever after or to an amicable divorce where they both get what they wanted out of the marriage when they both initially signed on to pretend.
There’s nothing like CD Reiss’ dirty talking alpha males and the strong and sassy heroines who stand next to them. Logan and Ella definitely make one heck of a power couple, butting heads and sparring with one another like pros, and because Reiss allows her readers inside both of her characters’ heads, we understand why certain decisions are made and why it takes so long for these two to figure out what those around them, including readers, knew from close to the very beginning, which makes things equally frustrating and endearing as Logan and Ella work to make amends as well as truly show how they feel about one another.
4 Poison Apples
This novel was such a fantastic continuation of the Crowne family series–as soon as I started Crowne of Lies all I wanted to do was simultaneously read it in one sitting but also put it down just so I’d have more time with these characters. And, to be honest, I feel like there is a lot that I’d still like to know about Ella and Logan; I found them to be interesting characters–ones that I could read for many more chapters, to see how they’re doing now, to see how their journey continues.
As with many of C.D. Reiss’s characters and plots, I thought things were going to go one way, but they took a slightly different path than what I anticipated. Take for instance, Ella. The strength that I initially saw hid a lot of vulnerability and uncertainty. There were times when she was such a maddening character and times when I wanted to raise my fist in solidarity with her. And then there was Logan–someone who came off as dickish and so singularly focused that I wanted to effing throttle him … until I didn’t because he finally started to gain some sense and I felt like I could feel good about them ending up together. The secondary characters –mostly the Crownes, though Ella’s friends and stepmother, too– added an extra layer of interesting things to consider and just fed my hunger for more of them all.
Ultimately, though, I think what I really enjoyed about this novel was how messy Logan and Ella’s relationship was. It was the ultimate story of lies and omissions and lack of communication and assumptions. These two were such a mess but the learning and advice they gained along the way really felt authentic to how messy and hard relationships can be, especially when you’re still trying to find out who you are. Sometimes the melding to two people into one household can be effortless and sometimes it seems uncomfortable and hard and these two characters exemplified the challenges and adventures that come with new, intense relationships.
I’m excited to meet the mysterious Crowne brother in the next book in this series of stand alone novels and I’m eager to get some more looks and the Crowne parents and Byron and Logan and their families.
If you’re looking for a really good marriage of convenience novel, with some soul searching messiness, look no further–this is definitely a read for you.
I loved this story from beginning to end! it was great “fake” relationship story and the characters were amazing! I want to read more about these brothers!!

“Did I want to obey the eyes that commanded me to sit without saying a word, or the strong, graceful hands that promised so much more without guaranteeing it?”
Crowne of Lies was such a all around perfect read. It was quickly added to my best reads of 2020 folder! CD Reiss always has a way of pulling me into her stories like no other author. I thought I liked Iron Crowne but it was nothing compared to Crowne of Lies. Each Crowne only gets better than the last! Arranged marriage is one of my favorite troupes and this book nailed it. It was original, complex and compelling. Once I started reading I simply could not stop until I devoured every last page. I loved everything about this book, from the plot down to it’s characters. Logan and Ella have just completely stolen the show. Their chemistry was off the charts, verging on some of the best I have seen. They nailed opposites attract in the most explosive way. I was so sad that this story had to end. I wanted so much more of this dysfunctionally beautiful couple.
“Time could only be measured in stars while he kissed me.”
Ella is the most relatable heroine I have ever read. I just instantly connected with her character like I have no other. She was lost. Stuck in life and desperate to truly find herself. But watching her blossom and bloom throughout this story only made me love her that much more!
Logan had all the makings to be a complete Alpha-hole. He was all all business and no play. He was selfish and dead set in his ways. His life was missing that much needed spark. But boy does he know just the way to win over your heart. I was a goner for his charm and dirty mouth. The boardroom wasn’t all Logan Crowne knew how to dominate.
“I wanted to fuck her. Tame her. Touch the explosive heat inside her.”
*5 STARS*
Was well earned with Crowne of Lies. Not only is that cover perfection but the Crowne Family is out to win over your heart. I can NOT wait for the next sibling to get their standalone story!
Logan, Logan, Logan!!!! He met his match with Ella that was totally his opposite on paper but she didn’t put up with his nonsense. She was just as fierce as him. They weren’t supposed to have feelings but the heart wants what the heart wants. But boyyyy was it a tough road to their happiness; they were both equally stubborn. Throw in some family members meddling and talk about drama. I liked to see updates if Byron and Olivia and also to get a feel of the other Crowne siblings. I’m kind of intrigued by Liam. What I liked about Logan was that he was willing to meet Ella halfway and I liked that the least expecting person actually gave her good advice about meeting her man halfway. These two were hot with some drama involved.
Crowne of Lies was a great story. I couldn’t put it down. The plot and characters were strong, it was filled with many emotions. The story was written well. C.D. Reiss did a great job on this story.
Logan and Ella were both fighters, they’d do whatever they had to get what they wanted, they made a strong pair. They were drawn to each other, no matter how much they fought it. They were good for each other, they completed one another and brought out a stronger side. The chemistry between them was off the charts, it was steamy, just sexy. Ella and Logan were perfect together, what had started out as an agreement, a fake relationship, turned into something so more.
This was a great story. I’m looking forward to reading more.
Thank you, C.D. Reiss. Great work 🙂
Move over Byron, the crown belongs to Logan!!
Crowne of Lies finds Logan with quite the problem. In order to take over the family company, something that he’s been preparing for, he has to get married. The reason: his dad doesn’t want the business to be the only important thing in his life.
Logan did what he thought was the best and quickest way to reach his goal…..a fake marriage with Ella.
I loved these two characters so much!!! Logan the dirty talking alpha and Ella, the sometimes graffiti artist, wild child. They are perfect for each other and perfectly written.
As always, CD Reiss has woven together these complicated characters and given us the perfect mix of angst, humor and deliciously hot AF sexy times. I hated when I had to put my kindle down(stupid adulting), I just wanted to see them get their HEA!!
This book is complete perfection! Buttoned up in the board room and swoon worthy in the bedroom is the perfect combo for your next book boyfriend! Pair that with the poetic writing of CD Reiss and this book checks all the boxes! This author writes absolute magic!
Overall Grade: 1/2
“Happiness didn’t come neatly packaged. It found you in the moments between tears and laughter, in the fights and brokenness, in the support and in the bond with someone who loved you as broken as you were and as whole as you’d become.”
Okay, okay, okay. Buckle your seatbelts because I have so many ideas and thoughts about CD Reiss’s Crowne of Lies, and my brain has struggled to contain them. Some of them may feel out there, and some of them may seem obvious. No matter the case, just know one thing: I think CD Reiss is f[ing] brilliant as a writer. Her books, in this case, Crowne of Lies, give me life. Her books hit against my “lit” brain and light it up. I can’t say that about most romances.
In its most basic form, Crowne of Lies is my favorite type of story. Logan is a self-absorbed, workaholic who is privileged, short-sighted, and inflexible. He is your proto-typical alpha-hole. The best romantic stories for this type of character add in an intelligent, artistic, “messy” heroine to foil him. And this is the case in Reiss’s newest story. Logan and Ella are opposites of the extreme variety. As such, there is an expectation of “fireworks,” and Reiss does not disappoint in crafting those sparks. When Logan and Ella come together in the story, you can’t help but feel the chemistry bleed off the page. Yet, in the midst of their differences, we find that these two are actually more alike than they believe. Logan and Ella feel like two sides of the same coin. Both want a piece of the family name, yet it feels like a need borne more out of obligation than a real love for it. It’s here where Reiss suggests that there is more to Ella and Logan. Ella muddying Logan, and Logan offering his authority to Ella allows for these two to grow. Both of them are stagnant at the beginning of the story, fixed in place; with their marriage of convenience, they help the other find another piece of themselves. It’s a suggestion that the best of love completes us, challenges us, and brings out our strengths. Reiss’s strength is the craftsmanship of this coupling.
Where Reiss shines, though, is her writing. I’m not going to tell you a lie here or downplay my knowledge of writing for this review. Reiss uses an extended metaphor with fashion to illustrate the gravity of the relationships and their mythology in the backgrounds of certain characters. Ella’s family fashion line, Papillion, the one her father designed and her mother ran, is more than just its fashion. Reiss uses it to illustrate their love story. The fashion is the representation of their relationship, one that seemed fated and on the level of soulmates. When Bianca, Ella’s stepmother (interesting allusion to the Cinderella story, by the way…more of Reiss’s intelligence as a writer), cheapens the line, she bastardizes it and by extension, diminishes the love of Ella’s parents. This is the reason that Ella fights for the company. It isn’t protecting the fashion of the label; it’s about controlling and protecting the narrative of her parents’ love, represented in the fashion of Papillion. Unfortunately, as the story progresses, we recognize that the idyllic nature of their love is manufactured. The metaphor becomes extended through Ella’s obfuscation of her father’s dress. At this moment, Ella is “breaking $hit” and rewriting her own story with Logan. When you read these moments in Crowne of Lies, it becomes clear that Reiss is more artist than writer. It is here where she draws out the goosebumps on your arm because she isn’t just telling you Logan and Ella’s story; she’s showing you through the images of her story. This is where the genius of writing finds its profundity. The image of fashion in this book is used to illustrate the rewriting of Ella and Logan’s love. Like the manufactured narrative of her parents’ love, Ella and Logan believe they are impossible for each other in the “forever” sense of it. They are too different. In re-fashioning her father’s dress, along with re-imagining Doreen’s dress, Reiss is showing us that Ella and Logan can “break” the ideas of their relationship and make it their own. It was here that I bowed down to CD Reiss’s ingenuity and artistry as a writer.
Even more, her prose (yes, she is the Shakespeare of smut) grabs you. It challenges you. It connects you deeply to the emotional strife of her characters, and darn it, it entertains. Logan and Ella’s wordplay will titillate you. Even more, Logan is such a dirty talker that their physicality will turn you on and make you blush a little. He’s so dirty. Yet, it’s Reiss’s words that add the jewels to the Crowne story. Her words here reveal her talent as a wordsmith: “I was an alchemist who turned hurt tangible.”…”Fine, Daddy. An alchemist who turned pain into art.” Reiss’s words give us pictures that emulate the feelings and thoughts of her characters. This causes them to ingratiate their way into our souls. I gobbled them up and felt satiated by the end of Crowne of Lies.
In the midst of her writing and story, CD Reiss challenges us. Yes, Crowne of Lies is an entertaining, intelligent, and insightful tale of two people seemingly different coming together to protect what they believe is due to them. But it’s really something more. Crowne of Lies is a story of being. Who are we when our manufactured narratives are proved false? Who are we when our truth is upended? Who are we when we realize there is more to our story that we had believed previously? There is an existential crisis in this book, and it’s a challenge for readers to consider their own story, their own mythology. It is possible to be more than we previously thought. Logan and Ella’s story is more than a marriage of convenience story; their romance is an admonishment to examine your truth and live in it…until you find new truths about yourself. If you haven’t read CD Reiss’s books, then you haven’t allowed yourself the true pleasure of romancelandia. Crowne of Lies is a great place to start. I adored the first book in the Crowne series of standalones, Iron Crowne, but Logan and Ella captured first place in this series.
“My past was my own. My skills had value. I was enough. Good enough. Talented enough. Free enough.”
Crowne of Lies is a fantastic story of a marriage of convenience or some may say, a fake marriage, between Logan Crowne and Ella Papillion. Logan, who we met in Iron Crowne, is the brother of Bryon Crowne, and is a strewed, take no prisoners business man, whereas Ella is his exact opposite. She is a free-spirited artist, who cares deeply, but she also has made a promise to her dying father to protect the family name, which makes her exactly the right person to attract Logan’s attention, because he, too, feels as though he is protecting his family’s name by making Ella an offer she can’t refuse. Once these two opposites enter into their prearranged agreement, Crowne of Lies takes us on a roller coaster of a ride that only CD Reiss can serve up. I absolutely loved every minute of this one!! Logan and Ella were absolutely perfect for each other. Despite Logan appearing to be a coldhearted businessman, he is an extremely passionate man, and Ella could not have asked for a better partner than she received in Logan, and same for Logan with Ella.
Crowne of Lies may begin as a fake marriage, arranged for 1 year only, after Logan’s father, Ted Crowne, informed him that he needed to get married, but it turns into the perfect romance between two people who were made for each other despite appearing to have nothing in common. Logan and Ella have plenty of twists and turns to navigate, since their relationship and marriage are built upon a web of lies, and it is seeing them navigate such minefields and strengthen their relationship, as well as come to grips with their true feelings for each other, that is the true joy of reading Crowne of Lies. Of course, since Crowne of Lies is written by CD Reiss the ending of Crowne of Lies serves us up yet another twist featuring another Crowne brother, which I cannot wait to read. Another great installment in this series about the Crowne Brothers. I highly recommend this series.
From the first word to the last Crowne of Lies is the perfectly imperfect love story that is perfect in every way.
Logan Crowne wants control of the family empire but before his father will grant him his wish he must find a wife, enjoy life a little more and take it easy. Which is easier said than done. Enter Ella Papillion. She doesn’t need a husband but does need someone who can give her the means and power to take back her father’s fashion house from her wicked step-mother (don’t you just love a wicked step-mother). So the plans are laid. Just one year with Ella being the perfect wife and Logan being the attentive husband and no sex. Well maybe just once or twice. It couldn’t hurt, could it? What could possibly go wrong? Well, love is a bitch and when she arrives at the party she is intent on ruining everything. These two prove undeniably that opposites do attract. Not being able to admit they are in love tears them apart and it’s game over for our ‘satellite’ and his ‘star’. Or is it. Will love win the day regardless of what they both originally longed for? Hmmm…..I couldn’t possibly say.
Crown of Lies is a wonderfully romantic read. All the characters have depth and the Crowne family are so charismatic that you’ll want them to adopt you. The style and tone of the story are unmistakably CD Reiss. It’s romantically romantic…..big sigh <3
You know when you read an author that continuously writes characters and stories that surpass your expectations? And then you try to convey your thoughts into a review that is worthwhile, but you just can’t? This is what happens with me and CD Reiss’s books, each and every dang time. She has taken a trope that I like alright (fake marriage) and twisted me on my head. She created a world in which Logan and Ella can co exist and it is imperfectly perfect.
Logan Crowne is a man that knows what he wants. Or thinks he does. He has ran his family company since his dad has stepped back and he does it well, but he doesn’t have a life beyond that. When his dad recognizes a bit of himself in Logan, he proposes that Logan steps down from his duties until he is married. Father Crowne sets unrealistic expectations on his kids because all he wants for them is to be happy AND successful. And he thinks married life will bring the too serious, yet sexy alpha a bit of something he doesn’t have. Balance and happiness.
Ella is the colorful, free-spirited woman to bring Logan some balance. They attended the same high school, but that is where their similarities end. Ella works in fashion, pushes the envelope on what side of the law she falls on, has tattoos and piercings, but needs help getting something back that she thinks she wants. A marriage of convenience could be just what she needs to help her name. So what starts out as a fake marriage soon turns into major sexual tension and wondering what that connection is and is it enough.
Are you ready for a story that is beautifully told, yet with sexual tension dripping from it’s pores?
Ms Reiss has created a family of characters that work so well together. They work hard, they love harder and they love their parents fiercely. The patriarchs of the Crowne family are what they aspire to be.
Each Crowne has their issues and I love that each one of them can fight tooth and nail to get what they want. Logan is alpha and possessive and can make a strong, independent woman such as Ella putty in his hands while they are in the bedroom. Their chemistry works and it’s off the charts hot.
Crown of Lies is a story of fake marriage that is so much more. We get to see growth in each character, connections with family and friendships and feel the emotions of these characters through the pages. It’s a sexy, well paced family saga that will continue to grow and play out in more books since the Crowne family is quite large. The characters are believable, strong willed and sexy af. The sexual tension is always there even when Ella and Logan aren’t in the same room. They have a pull, even if they are complete opposites. I love that we got to see it grow and progress as the story went on. It was fast and immediate, and then they had to fight against it for a deal. It would be too tough to mix feelings with a contract.
“Let’s hurt each other. Let’s hurt each other so bad we walk out of this thing on broken legs screaming in pain. When it’s over, I want to be praying for death and wishing I could do it all over again.”
And I WOULD do it all over again. The pain, the honesty, the love and the family. I would take it all and experience it again since the writing is flawless and the family is one I want to know more about. CD Reiss has a created a world I want to be a part of and feel as if I am. I can see it and feel it come right out on the pages. I’m here for it and I can’t wait for more Crowne drama. 4.5 Crowned stars
Logan and Ella from two different worlds each have an important agenda to achieve but oh boy are these two hot with the temptation and attraction to agree to disagree and can they pull it off. FANTASTIC characters and I love all the emotion and passion also guilt that you can feel, the words are perfection pulling you in at every page. I couldn’t get enough I loved it.
