Eighteen-year-old Celaena Sardothien is bold, daring and beautiful – the perfect seductress and the greatest assassin her world has ever known. But though she won the King’s contest and became his champion, Celaena has been granted neither her liberty nor the freedom to follow her heart. The slavery of the suffocating salt mines of Endovier that scarred her past is nothing compared to a life … bound to her darkest enemy, a king whose rule is so dark and evil it is near impossible to defy. Celaena faces a choice that is tearing her heart to pieces: kill in cold blood for a man she hates, or risk sentencing those she loves to death. Celaena must decide what she will fight for: survival, love or the future of a kingdom. Because an assassin cannot have it all …And trying to may just destroy her. Love or loathe Celaena, she will slice open your heart with her dagger and leave you bleeding long after the last page of this New York Times bestselling sequel, in what is undeniably THE hottest new fantasy series.

Just finished Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas! Couldn’t believe the big reveal at the end..excited to pick up the next book in the series.
I enjoyed Crown of Midnight more than the first book in the series! Maas’s writing style is just so good. Her prose is so well done.
I’m loving this series, now I’m on to the next book Heir Of Fire.
It’s so awesome!!!!!! I’m salutary in love with the ‘Throne of Glass’ Series!!! You must read this book or I will freak out!!!
Even after having read The Assassin’s Blade before rereading Throne of Glass, I was still not wild about the first book in this series. I just don’t think it’s Maas’ best, and I found myself really dragging through it. But whatever I felt was lacking in book one was absolutely made up for with Crown of Midnight. The second book in the TOG series …
Review: Crown Of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas. 4.5/Stars. Please don’t read ahead if you haven’t read this book. •

I feel like as these books go on, they’re going to get better and better. I feel like Crown of Midnight was a lot better than Throne of Glass. When I read ToG, I honestly couldn’t tell whether or not I would enjoy this series. Reading …
Another great story by Ms. Maas. Love the characters, their relationships (even though it just about killed me and I can’t imagine where this is going), their world… can’t wait to start the next book. The only thing that didn’t sit too well with me–and it could be I actually missed the clues–without giving away the surprise at the end is, when …
I just finished the second book in the series, A Throne of Glass. Great continuation of the story and I need to get my hands on the next book in the series. The plot continues with Celaena, the King’s Champion, diligently working to undermine the King and his plans for world domination through abominations – he’s evil incarnate. As more of both …

: Crown of Midnight
: Throne of Glass #2
: Sarah J. Maas
: 4/5
The book starts of a bit slow and it took me a long time to get through the first part, but for the second half of the book, the pacing was sooo much better. I really love Celaena as a character and I feel …
Better than book 1, but still struggling to get attached to the characters. Hoping for more from book 3.
First Read: December 13, 2015 – December 17, 2015
Second Read: May 1, 2021 – May 2, 2021
Crown of Midnight is the second installment to Sarah J. Maas Throne of Glass series, and it left me on the edge of my seat the entire time.
Storyline/My Thoughts: I was excited to read the second installment due to how Sarah J. Maas left things during …
Great series
/5
As usual, I love how Sarah writes. Her flow and rhythm are always amazing and so satisfying and smooth to read. I am still a little iffy on the plot but I will keep going because I hear things get better after Heir of Fire. I am not completely invested in this which makes me a little sad. I might have created too many expectations.
I …
Crown of Midnight is the second book of the Throne of Glass series, I liked the first book, can’t say I loved it but liked it enough to keep going since the story was quite addictive. This book kept on those lines we got new answers and got some more questions, the plot is really a big one and I have no idea of what kind of dangers can lay ahead …
This book is a great fantasy read. I was hooked from the start and devoured every word. A great read, I really enjoyed it.
Actual rating: 4.5
Character development was great, for Celaena, Chaol, Dorian, Nehemia, and even some of the side characters that are mentioned in this book, such as Archer. I was especially happy with the character development from Archer and Chaol. Archer is a complex character and I hope to learn more about how deeply he networked, how …
My Rating:

What. Is. Happening???
This book.
What????
Throne of Glass was a really enjoyable book, but holy moly this just blew it out of the water. It’s amazing how much Maas grew as an author between writing these books.
The amount of emotions I’m feeling right now. Just wow. This was a Roller. Coaster. The happiness, the sadness, the fear, the grief, …
