But Logan isn’t going down without a fight. She makes him a deal. She will die, but first he must spend a month getting to know her, a month to change his mind. What she doesn’t expect is a month filled with displays of incredible wealth, spontaneous trips across the country, and unbelievable acts of immortal power. And as Logan spends her last days with Cyrus, she stops seeing the monster and begins to see a lonely, broken man she can’t walk away from. If she isn’t careful, it won’t just be her life she loses at the end of the month, but her heart as well…

Very superficial characters, and predictable plot line.
I loved this book! It was well written and I love the personality of the main character, Logan.
Love works out – Even if you die!
It is a cliff-hanger.
I enjoyed the original storyline and characters… Occasionally found the flow a bit hard to follow and a bit jumpy, but it makes sense towards the end and into 2nd book!
it was a good read
This is a great book. Full of action and great chemistry between the main characters. It’s a fascinating world that makes me want read dig in and read every book about this world.
Really loved it ! I hated to see it end.
Kept me reading until the last page. Unputdownable.
To much left undone at end. Hat it when you are forced to buy next book to get any closure. Some sense of a cliff-hanger is ok, but some resolution of events is necessary for me, anyway.
The story line is terrible.
did not like book did not finish reading
Was a good read. But not crazy bout the ending.
This book is the first in a new series that is an off-shoot of the House of Royals series. Logan’s life is slowly falling apart, and she doesn’t know how she can fix it. One night, after witnessing a supernatural death, Logan is plunged into the world of vampires, one in which she finds out she will become one and her human problems seem so trivial. Cyrus, the king of vampires, is anxious to end Logan’s mortal life so she can begin her immortal one, but Logan knows he’s hiding something. So, she bargains with him: give her a month to let her say goodbye to her human life and to get to know him, and him her. But what he’s hiding could break her heart. O.M.G.! This book just blew me away, so much so I think it’s the best one Ms. Taylor has ever written. I know Cyrus from the other series, but this one just made me ache for him, make me feel so sorry for him, and I never thought I’d do that. And, of course, there was great writing, a terrific plot, and of course, that ending! I read this whole book in one day at work because I just couldn’t put it down. Thank goodness we weren’t busy at work so I could read it! I am chomping at the bit to read the next one because I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen next. You don’t need to have read the original series to read this one, but I think it would enhance this one if you did. I can’t recommend this enough! Thanks to the author for the e-copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
