“I am very, VERY picky and my vampire books. Let me tell y’all, from page one, I was gone, hooked, addicted, entranced. I could not put the book down!” ★★★★★ – Kindle Customer, Amazon Review “Whoa! A must read for any vampire obsessed bookworm! This had everything I crave!”★★★★★ – Angela, Amazon ReviewWhere do you draw the line between immortal love and obsession?Years of bad luck have made Logan … obsession?
Years of bad luck have made Logan Pierce a little bitter, but it all goes from bad to worse the night she witnesses two immortal beings rip a man’s head off with their bare hands.
Her life is wrecked overnight by a single man—Cyrus, who seems to think she’s someone important in his bloody world. But they won’t know the truth until she’s dead, and he’s very anxious to help her get there.
But Logan isn’t going down without a fight. She makes him a deal. She will die, but first he must spend a month getting to know her, a month to change his mind. What she doesn’t expect is a month filled with displays of incredible wealth, spontaneous trips across the country, and unbelievable acts of immortal power. And as Logan spends her last days with Cyrus, she stops seeing the monster and begins to see a lonely, broken man she can’t walk away from. If she isn’t careful, it won’t just be her life she loses at the end of the month, but her heart as well…

The story ends abruptly with a major cliffhanger. To continue the story required purchases. This set is actually a trilogy. I wish someone had warned me about the non-ending.
Also, the characters often repeat themselves. The same arguments and questions are presented over and over.
Definitely one to pass over.
First book was great. Major cliff hanger in book 2 and was long in info but short on romance. Hoping book 3 brings it together for an HEA. Wonderful writing.
Cute read but one that skips what a person would seem to think a normal reaction to finding out vampires exist.
Going into Crown of Death I didn’t know what to really expect. I did not realize that this book was part of a bigger universe; however, I don’t think you really need to read the other Blood Descendant installments to understand this story. I may be wrong, cause obviously I haven’t read them, but I never felt lost or not in the loop while reading this installment.
I actually have other books on my kindle from Keary Taylor, however, this is the first one I have actually sat down to read…and, I am in no way disappointed! I loved the way she built the story and that she was able to create such a snarky fun character that you can’t help but root for. She was absolutely great! Cyrus wasn’t so bad either. He was extremely complex and I really enjoyed him and Logan’s interactions, as she wasn’t always so polite to him as he was used to.
I really enjoyed the overall storyline of the book, and in the end there was a twist that I hadn’t really been expecting. Typically, I am just not interested in stories that tend to go in that specific direction (I’m trying to be vague here so I don’t spoil anything!). It’s nothing against the writing or storyline, because up until that point I had really enjoyed the story as a whole. Just because I did enjoy Taylor’s writing, I may have to pick up the second installment later on. But, as a whole, I really did enjoy the story as a whole, hence the 4 star rating; however, I just don’t particularly know if I will pick up the next installment based upon the direction the story was heading.
Loved this book and I have a new author to follow! Captivating, hard to put down and interesting characters! You could never guess what was coming next, very intriguing!
A slight twist on the human -vampire theme, which left me wanting to read more. Good character development that created sympathy for them and their struggles.
This book was so freakin’ good. And I hate vampire books! Seriously. As soon as I discovered this was a vampire book, I was about to just quit and move on to the next book. But, I just couldn’t. The story too good, the characters too good, every part of this book was too good to put down. I hate cliffhangers and sequels, but guess what I did before writing this review? Yep. I bought the next one. I’m a sucker, but I don’t care! Read this book. It’s so good!
Awesome series. Keeps You hooked!
Has depth that a number of vampire encounter stories do not. The plot twists and goes in some unexpected directions. I liked the main relationship and it wasn’t just an inter species sex story. Enjoyed it.
Love it.
I haven’t read a vampire book since Charlaine Harris and Crown of Death didn’t disappoint. Looking forward to reading more.
I’m getting tired of serials. Just write the book from beginning to end and tell the darn story. Write another book if the first one was good I’ll buy the second book. Just WRITE.
I definitely would recommend this paranormal series.
Good read. The storyline kept my interest all the way to the end. Good paranormal world creativity. Author paints a clear picture.
Wish it were stand-alone. A little angst-y for me, I prefer stronger willed heroines
The one thing I hated was the cliff hanger, but it kept me coming for more the whole read
Quick easy to read, fun
Loved it
Great vampire spin on a story
Gah this story is great but it’s a multi book story so if that’s not your thing just some thought
I really enjoyed reading the book. In fact I’ve read all of the series. Its every entertaining and I love all of them.
