Four minutes. That’s all it took to change mylife forever. I once had a purpose in life. Had a direction.Four damn minutes changed it all. I tried to live for my club. I was doing whatI needed to do each day. I was in a bad place when I met Lyric. She wasn’t much better.Together we found a way to move on. I found some sort of strength in her and shefound safety and love in me. The only question … safety and love in me.
The only question now is….
Is that enough for me?

Reading this book I was trying to figure out why Crow wanted to kill himself and what happened to Gabe. Trying to remember reading about what happened to them. Meeting Lyric was something he was meant to do. But talk about a tear jerker for me, it was. No happy ending hear.
I don’t think I had dry eyes at any time reading this story, heart breaking from beginning to end, I finished this yesterday and still have a lump in my throat. Loved the characters and had my fingers crossed, the ending was a tough one both good and sad. Talk about emotional! Fabulous
Darn it! This book just broke me to piecesI literally cried and take breaks, cause I definitely couldn’t finished it. Jesus, my heart hurt, but he loved, laughed Crow basically lived. Wow, just wow! The only thing I can say without spoiling for others is that “You Will Cry” it’s an emotional book with lots of actions and the feels OMG the feelsThese two characters came into each other’s lives at the right time, amazing just amazing. Miss Erin Trejo only you can make me cry like that, but I do love you though.
I had a Favorite Quote In This Book, I Couldn’t Stop Thinking About:
“I’m the lucky one. You have given me the best time of my life bein’ with me, Lyric. I never thought I’d have a reason to want to wake up another day. You do that to me.”
How can my heart be broken and so full at the same time?! Crow’s story struck a cord deep in my soul. As a mother I can honestly say I understand why he ultimately did what he did. I’m not saying my heart isn’t completely destroyed though lol! As always Erin Trejo’s writing is fantastic and makes you feel as though you’re right there in the middle of it all.
We all know that the soulless bastards are not a sweet as pie MC but in this latest instalment we learn that even the toughest biker can have a softer centre
Crow has suffered great loss and while trying to fight his way through it he meets Lyric He sees that she is suffering just as much as him but he is determines that he will make her see her own worth and in the process maybe these two damaged souls will find redemption and may be love with one another. This is a gut wrenching book that puts you through the wringer and a perfect end to this series
Let me warm you right off the bat. Tissues lots and lots of tissues. This one has me in tears pretty much through the whole book. Erin did such an amazing job writing this one. Crow is at the warehouse he goes to every year on the anniversary of his son’s death. But tonight he meets a very special person who changes his way of thinking. But will it be enough to save him? She is going through her own terror, her own life struggles. Will Crow be able to save her and prove that she is beautiful inside and out? This storyline was breath taking heart wrenching tears. I absolutely loved these two together. Just amazing. Highly recommend reading this one. Erin blew me away with this one.
Ugly cry ahead
Lyric, a girl with a tragic story, and Crow, a SBMC member with a dark past, meet by accident one night in a rundown warehouse. As the story progresses their stories are shared, some solace and danger are found, and a happy ever after is in question. Erin Trejo is turning out to be the Queen of the ugly cry books for me. I don’t know how she packs so much emotion into each of these dark and twisted Bastard’s lives and still keeps me coming back time and time again, just begging for more. Reader discretion is advised due to dark subject matter and/or possible triggers contained within.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
I had to take a couple days to write this review after reading this book because it moved me so much and every time I tried to write it I broke down in tears. Crow and Lyric find themselves in a place where they both are filled with so much pain but their meeting was meant to be. It is through their pain that they both learn to love and live again. This story was about more than just a romance, it was more than a story about two souls meeting, it was a story about loss and finding your way again. The ending of this book was perfect for this story. I know the book ends but I hope the story continues. I loved how Crow showed Lyric how to shine and show her inner goodness. I fell in love with Crow so much and Lyric was his perfect half. Erin Trejo did it again and she keeps amazing me with such emotional and compelling stories that make me feel so much. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and I wish I could give it more than five stars.
Omg what a rollercoaster of emotions. I couldn’t help but cry throughout this book.
Erin Trejo did it once again. She wrung out my emotions made me fall in love with her characters.
I highly recommend this book.
This is the fourth book in the Soulless Bastards MC So Cal Series and a great addition to this addictive series.
Crow and Lyric are two broken people who meet at their lowest points but when they truly needed it. This tale will put you through the emotional ringer and may take time to bring the light into the dark but its worth every emotion.
I loved Lyric, she wasn’t the usual stick thin pixie these big alpha males seem to go for. She has been through so much after being abused by her step-father and getting picked on about her size. She meets Crow when she is hitting rock bottom and looking for a way out and the attraction and connection between them is instant and draws them in.
Crow’s story is a dark one that will pull on your heartstrings but i loved how Lyric helps him, they bring each other back to life.
Looking forward to seeing what Erin brings us next
this book brought tears to my eyes reading it! four minutes to lose everything thats what happened to him. now just living day to day in his biker club. she is no better off than him. can these two help each mend? read to find out.
Crow and Lyric were the perfect couple! I have read every book by Erin Trejo, and this one is my favorite! The story just sucked you in, and kept you there till the very end! This is hands down, one of the best books! Highly recommended
I am crying as I right my review for a book that I know is fictional. This is the unsurpassed talent of Erin Trejo. I am telling you that this woman wrote a release that is indescribable and yet beautiful.
My personal preference is MC romance and as many of you know, there are so many ways to love. In this book, Crow, I have to tell you that an Author being able to touch reader’s this way is a gift. A gift Ms. Trejo has completely nailed. This installment to The Souless Bastards MC is going to rip your heart out in the unimaginable ways and it was a gift to read. I must apologize for rambling but I am so damn impressed. I try extremely hard never to give away any part of the plot of a read because I do not want to ruin it for reader’s. Within these unique pages, Crow struggles along until he comes face to face with another lost soul like his own, Lyric. Both have known unimaginable pain and are thrown together for a reason. I encourage all reader’s to follow along as they find peace. If this release doesn’t touch your heart, I would be shocked. Realizism abounds in this unforgettable release.
I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader’s copy of Crow in exchange for my honest & voluntarily given opinion and I couldn’t recommend it more as well as anything written by Ms. Trejo.
This book absolutely destroyed me. Crow’s story is one filled with such pain you will not be able to keep your emotions in check. This book should come with a warning- Keep the tissues close.
I loved the fact that Crow falls in love with Lyric, she has not only been abused by her step father but ridiculed about her plus size, she meets Crow in an abandoned warehouse where she is self harming and he contemplating suicide. It’s the same place his son was murdered in front of him. They start to talk and for some unknown reason he is drawn to her. When he wakes up alone but covered by his jacket he thinks nothing more until he runs in to her again at a dinner and they get to know each other.
That is the jist of it, obviously there is more, but it I’m not into spoilers, Lyric is a strong young woman made all the more aware by the love of Crow. This is a sad story but also uplifting.
I am voluntarily leaving my own honest opinion
WOW!!
Crow and Lyric meet at the perfect time in their lives. Crow is trying to escape his past while Lyric wants to escape her present. Crow may be a Soulless Bastard, but he sure does have a soft side. He brings out the best in Lyric and shows her there is a lot worth living for.
That ending though…. I was hoping for a different ending, but this one was still good.
I loved this book!
“His eyes will always haunt me. Those dark brown eyes that fill every goddamn nightmare I have.”
Crow is a Soulless Bastard, one with a tragic past. Every year around the same time he goes away to be alone and suffer. He has his plan, he doesn’t care what anyone else thinks, and this year he is finally going to go through with it. And when I say go through with it I mean take his own life. That is until he walks into what should be an abandoned warehouse to find a sobbing Lyric. He convinces her that things will get better even if she doesn’t truly believe it. Slowly they start to find that they heal eachother, that just being with eachother calms them both, But is that enough for Crow to completely forgo all of his plans and stay with her?
My take… Guys… GUYS!!!
This whole book had me in my feels in the short 100+ pages I cried twice… not like one tear like I have to put the book down and cry. I felt so bad for Crow there is no way absolutely none that I could imagine going through what he was going through. Lyric was completely relatable, as a bigger woman myself I know what it feels like to feel like you are less than everyone else because you where a size 14 instead of a size 4. I really wished I could have known more of her background but even the little bits that I was told I loved.
I have not read all the other So Cal books but if they are anything like this one I am in for some serious feels! Great read, great pace, great characters. I really have nothing bad to say about the book!
Really enjoyed Crow and Lyric’s story. It really pulled at the heartstrings. So have your tissues at the ready guys.
When Crow encounters Lyric, he’s hit rock bottom and wants it all to be over. Lyric is also battling her own demons…
Even at his lowest Crow wants to help her….
Can these to lost souls help each other heal ?
Not going to give too much away on this story but highly recommend
Incredibly sad amazingly written book. Crow is such a sad man, knowing his days are numbered since his greatest loss. Lyric has been thru so much in her life, has no confidence, or self respect. If u believe in fate then this is the book for u. These two were put together for one reason, so save and heal each other.
Crow and Lyric there are no to describe what this book did to my heart and soul. The tears I cried thur out this whole book you wouldn’t believe. I had to stop several times and try to keep going after I got under control. This book was absolutely beautiful and inspiring when you find out everything it will break your heart. With an ending that will blow your mind but make you smile as well. So can’t wait for the next one. She truly knows how to give you an emotional, action packed, intense read
