After divorcing the woman he’d been with since he was seventeen, Nick Fuller is starting over. He owns the restaurant of his dreams and he’s determined to meet new people, find new passions, and experience life to its fullest. Easier said than done—that is until he meets his new neighbor, Bryce Tanner…
Bryce is all about a good time. He plans to show Nick how it’s done, help him meet a few … a few women, and enjoy the gift of the single life he’s been given. But things don’t go as planned, and soon they realize they’d rather be together than with anyone else.
Neither man has ever wanted another guy, but there’s a connection between them from the start—a spark they can’t deny. They find themselves navigating an unfamiliar new world and dealing with unforeseen obstacles. Physical desire isn’t enough, and now Nick and Bryce are at a crossroads. They have to decide which way to go: the easy path they’ve always followed, or the one that’s determined to trip them up at every turn.

Overall 4*

Story 4.5*
The “gay for you” trope is one of my favorites, but I’m not sure I’ve read one where both main characters fit that description, like they do in Crossroads. Sure, it might seem a little far-fetched for 2 straight men to all of sudden find themselves falling for each other, but honestly, when you finally find “that” person does it really matter that you were never attracted to someone of the same sex before? Nick and Bryce prove that no, nothing else matters when it comes to who you love.
I loved how Ms. Riley presented and handled this story. It wasn’t a case of insta-lust/love, where all of a sudden one of the characters came to the realization that he was gay. Rather, it was a story of 2 guys developing a friendship that slowly morphed into more than either of them could have ever imagined. As Bryce, happy go-lucky, always up for a good time, and Nick, trying to find his footing as a single man after his divorce, spend more and more time together, they discover that life has a few curveballs to throw their way.
I really enjoyed Nick and Bryce’s story, and how they navigated their new found feelings for each other. They are both so different, but so perfect for each other, that it was great to see things from both their points of view.
Family is very important to both Nick and Bryce. They each have large and loving families, which caused some challenges for them as they came out as a couple. But I liked the fact that, even though things didn’t go as eaily as they could have hoped, Bryce and Nick stood strong together.
Crossroads was so sweet and sexy, and I loved how the title was worked into the story.
Sean Crisden did a terrific job bringing these men to life.

I really loved this book. Nick and Bryce were so lovable and completely adorable. I liked that neither of them put a label on themselves or their relationship. Never in their lives had they thought about being with another man, but they had grown so close as neighbors that it turned into something more. I loved how Bryce was jumped head first into whatever it was with Nick, once he realized he had feelings for Nick, he was ready to explore their relationship. Nick, who was a little hesitant at first, let Bryce take his hand and see what if they felt was real together. Things weren’t easy for them when they were at home alone together or when they had to tell their families about their relationship. They had ups and downs, but they were there for each other the whole way.
I really loved them together and Bryce is so funny and carefree despite how much he holds his emotions inside. With this being my first Riley Hart read, I can say that I absolutely love her writing. This was such an enjoyable book and I can’t wait to read more of the Crossroads series.
