When the wrong man turns out to be the right one…Nash, a longtime Dirty Angels MC member and lead singer of Dirty Deeds, has a secret. For years, he’s hidden his bisexuality from his brothers, fellow bikers, worried how they’d take the news. But Nash isn’t the only one keeping secrets from his brotherhood. So is Cross, a police officer and member of the Blue Avengers MC.As opposite as they … MC.
As opposite as they come, when Cross spots Nash across the bar, he can’t resist the unexpected attraction. Then lines are crossed, boundaries blurred. And they need to survive in two different worlds where men who like other men aren’t usually accepted, and where bikers and cops don’t mix.
Reality and fantasy are two different things. The fantasy being Cross and Nash can be together, that they can make it work. The reality being their situation is impossible. Cross will never give up being a cop. Nash will never give up being a biker. What either of them would have to walk away from is more than anyone should ask for. In the end, fighting reality could be a losing battle in a war they might never win.
Note: A standalone, Crossing the Line is a crossover gay romance involving a member of the Dirty Angels MC and one from the Blue Avengers MC. It includes forbidden love, enemies to lovers, cop vs biker, alpha vs alpha. As with all my books, it has no cliffhanger and an HEA.

OMG! Talk about a book that had my emotions all over the place “Crossing the Line” was a book that did that and so much more! This well written storyline was a real page turner with Nash and Cross being two alpha males from two ends of the world that for all intents and purposes should not be together, one an alpha biker and the other, an alpha cop, that society would think should despise each other! The chemistry between these two alpha males are so HOT that as I turned the pages my kindle was burning. However, the gentleness and feelings these two alpha males could display between each other was beautiful and kept me rooting for them from the very beginning! Very few books stay with me once the last page is turned, however, I have a feeling that Nash and Cross will stay in my heart for some time to come! Well done Jeanne St. James for keeping it real between these two characters when you could have taken the easy road!
Wow just wow! I’m really without words and now I have to come up with something to sum up this book for my review and I’m not sure how I’m going to do that. A chance meeting has set emotions in a whirlwind for Nash and Cross. Two people on opposite sides of the law, so to speak, Nash is DAMC and Cross is a cop, it can’t work, there’s no way around it, they are wrong for each other, well that’s what Nash keeps telling himself every time Cross shows up he and gives in. So many obstacles, emotions to deal with, how can these two men be together when the world forces you to hide you really are? Cross is a fighter and he’s fighting to make Nash see what they could have together, but Nash continues to push back, will Cross be able to move on if he can’t make Nash believe what they have is real? Neither one wants their secret getting out, but if they continue to take chances it’s bound to come out one way or another. Is love worth the risk? Their story is heartbreaking, intense, loving, emotional and with a line drawn in the sand that shouldn’t have been crossed, there’s no coming back from it now. Fantastic read, I loved it.
There are so many things I want to say, but I don’t want to spoil this story for anyone.
This is an incredible story of love, heartbreak, sadness, laughter, joy, and never giving up on what you want. Two men who couldn’t be more wrong for each other cross paths and take you on a ride you’ll never forget. Pulled every heartstring and ripped every emotion from me.
You get to see some of the DAMC brothers and they were absolutely true to character and so real with this love affair.
I have read many M/M books, and most of them are the same. Run of the mill emotions, and predictable story telling. Never have I read the genre where their love is fully described in such a way that you truly feel everything! The characters are strong, dominant, resistant, determined, and so desperate for what they want they are willing to sacrifice everything. Jeanne St James did an amazing job bringing these characters life, she tackled this taboo, for some, subject with class, dignity and pure love. Make sure that you have some tissues close by. I will definitely read this one again and again.
Oh, my goodness. I loved Nash and Cross together!! The two men, both alpha males, had an instant attraction and sizzling chemistry. Unfortunately, their relationship was filled with struggles – emotional, physical, and social. Due to past hurts from people finding out who they were, both have been living their life half in secret.
Being on opposite sides socially – Nash is a DAMC biker and Cross is a police officer – would be hard enough for these two. Add in the fact they’re attracted to another guy, they face the fear they won’t be accepted by the dominant alpha males in their chosen families.
My heart broke for these two. They were meant to be together but how did they decide between who they were at their core (biker and cop) and who they were at their core (gay men)? When it’s one in the same, it’s an unfair decision to have to make. I got angry for them (especially for Nash), I cried for them, and even laughed with them at times.
I was rooting for Nash and Cross from the beginning and ached for them to be accepted by their “brothers”. Their story was well written and full of emotion. I didn’t want to put it down and read the whole thing in one afternoon. If you enjoy m/m romance, or have been wanting to find a good m/m story to start with, I would definitely recommend reading Crossing the Line. It was fantastic!
*I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This is my honest review.*
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. This series just keeps getting better and better. Cross and Nash have undeniable chemistry but come from two different walks of life- one a cop and one biker. The ups and downs and struggle to keep their relationship under wraps really made me feel for these 2. It’s hard to be a male, biker, cop, gay and bisexual. You can really feel the emotion in this story. I read it cover to cover last night. Great read and great addition to the series!! I love these books.
Anothe amazing read by Jeanne St. James. Nash and Cross will have you laughing and crying. And Cross’ nick name for Diesel is funny but accurate. I highly recommend reading this book as well as all others by Jeanne. She knows how to pull you in amd make it feel like you are right beside the characters cheering them on.
I really enjoyed reading this book. I couldn’t help but fall in love with Nash and Cross. I dont normally read this type of book but I found myself truly enjoying it. I could not put it down.
I do not think my words in this review can tell you how exceptional this book really was. Jeanne St. James created characters that I instantly fell in love with but at the same time two characters that ripped my heart out. Nash, the bad boy biker and lead singer of the Dirty Deeds band, who came from nothing and has been hiding his true colors for a very long time. Cross, the police officer who has a bright future ahead of him, as long as he remains in the closet. A chance encounter takes them both on wild ride filled with hatred but also acceptance. Can they build their own world together? Or are they destined to crash and burn? Emotional overload and intense feelings of what is right and what is accepted makes this book deserve so much more than 5 starts.
Holy Smokes!
Jeanne St. James really knocked it out of the park with this book. I have loved her DAMC series & was looking forward to reading Nash’s story & I was not disappointed! Nash being an outlaw biker & Cross being a Cop made for some major ups and downs for them together as well as personally! The scenes between them were hot & full of so much chemistry you could feel it through the pages! I laughed and I shed a few tears with Nash & his DAMC brothers scenes. It was a read in one sitting book & I am already looking forward to whatever Jeanne St. James puts out next!
This book truly amazed me. It was a book I wanted to experience over and over. I laughed, felt anger and tears as Cross and Nash went on the ride of life. Truly beautiful.
Great story!!
I really liked the emotional journey of the characters and how that effected their families and careers.
Nash as from previous cameos in the DAMC series is a mystery and boy was he holding out on us!!
Cross is calm and in charge, he knows what he wants and he works at keeping it.
All up I loved the bossiness and alpha charms of both characters, and their emotionally charged partnership. I cannot wait to read what comes next
Phenomenal! That’s the best word I can use to describe my love of this story and these characters. It’s sexy, and heartfelt and painful but in all the best possible ways!
On paper Nash and Cross should never work as a couple yet I can’t even fathom either of them ever belonging to someone else. Their chemistry is explosive and their love for one another is pure but that doesn’t mean their road to a HEA is an easy one.
I commend Jeanne for keeping this story honest, even though it can be emotional as a reader when things aren’t always wrapped up in a pretty shiny bow, she kept true to the characters and the situation.
Nash and Cross never quit on each other and that to me is the best ending for a love story
What a brilliantly written story!
This one made my heart bleed for the prejudice Nash and Cross faced.
Jeanne St James handled a really emotive subject with her usual brilliance!
Love is love no matter size shape colour or sexual orientation
LOVED IT!
Sitting here after finishing Crossing the Line.
WOW, tears, heartache, trust, understanding, hate.
Lot to take in. Loved the book.
The chemistry Nash & Cross have is off the charts.
The fight between them is so normal in these certain types of relationships and that is a shame.
No one should ever be afraid of showing love publicly to the person they are in love with.
Fabulous read. You will love it.
Jeanne St. James did a fantastic job writing this book.
I did not expect to become as emotionally invested with these characters as I did. They are truly unforgettable.
I’ve been anxiously awaiting this M/M crossover story ever since I found out Jeanne St. James was going to write it. And maybe it’s my fault for hyping the story up in my head. Or, it could be that I haven’t wanted to read anything lately, but I did manage to finish this book in one sitting. I honestly wasn’t feeling the chemisty between Nash and Cross, and their story seemed forced in a way. I understand they’re both Alpha men, and one is a hard-core biker, but the story didn’t sit with me. I didn’t have hearts in my eyes like the rest of the DAMC series, but I’m glad that it’s finally written. I didn’t like the way that the DAMC treats NASH when he finally admits to his feelings, and I think that what they’re doing is wrong. I cried so hard for them, and I really hope that things change for them in the future.
Please note that I did receive an ARC of this book, and the opinions expressed in this review are my own.
Ohhhh, I’ve never had so many emotions hit me during one book!
Sexy singer Nash finds lust with the forbidden – hot cop Cross. Not only do the couple have to fit their lives together, they have to do it in secret. The DAMC don’t know Nash is with a cop, and the force don’t know Cross is gay.
It’s a story that keeps you turning the pages to see how it plays out – do they stay together? Does the career Cross loves mean more than Nash? Does the DAMC accept the couple? You’ll have to get the book (and some tissues) to find out!!
Jeanne St. James is, hands down, one of the best authors out there. I love, love, love her DAMC and Guts & Glory books and was thrilled when DAMC resident rock star, Nash, got his own book…leave it to Ms. St. James to shake it up some! Nash is talented, sexy, broody and a closet bi-sexual who hooks up with a good looking, sexy Cross who’s hiding the fact that he’s gay from pretty much everyone. These two have so much chemistry, the pages practically sizzle reading about them, but they have 2 very huge problems. Nash is a member of a notorious MC and Cross is a cop. No way will Nash’s Brothers or Cross’ co-workers even begin to understand, but the heart wants what the heart wants and these two want each other, for better or for worse. This book is very sexy, sweet at times and gut wrenching at others, and you won’t be able to put it down! Great job, as usual, Ms. St. James, thanks for sharing your vivid imagination with us!
This book was AMAZING! Cross and Nash explode together! This is a must read!!!! It’s so good to see Nash find his love. They are so perfect for each other.
Oh holy h€ll!!! Nash and Cross were so flipping amazing together! I loved how these two tried so hard and failed so spectacularly to stay apart. It was intense and emotional, I definitely felt a few tears fall. The way that Cross and Nash were together was incredible. Sometimes it really is who we least expect that is the perfect piece we needed. My heart melted, and my Kindle was smoking!!
