When the wrong man turns out to be the right one…Nash, a longtime Dirty Angels MC member and lead singer of Dirty Deeds, has a secret. For years, he’s hidden his bisexuality from his brothers, fellow bikers, worried how they’d take the news. But Nash isn’t the only one keeping secrets from his brotherhood. So is Cross, a police officer and member of the Blue Avengers MC.As opposite as they … MC.
As opposite as they come, when Cross spots Nash across the bar, he can’t resist the unexpected attraction. Then lines are crossed, boundaries blurred. And they need to survive in two different worlds where men who like other men aren’t usually accepted, and where bikers and cops don’t mix.
Reality and fantasy are two different things. The fantasy being Cross and Nash can be together, that they can make it work. The reality being their situation is impossible. Cross will never give up being a cop. Nash will never give up being a biker. What either of them would have to walk away from is more than anyone should ask for. In the end, fighting reality could be a losing battle in a war they might never win.
Note: A standalone, Crossing the Line is a crossover gay romance involving a member of the Dirty Angels MC and one from the Blue Avengers MC. It includes forbidden love, enemies to lovers, cop vs biker, alpha vs alpha. As with all my books, it has no cliffhanger and an HEA.
more
Nash’s family is the Dirty Angels MC. It’s all he wants or needs, the club, his brother’s, his bike and his music. He’s the lead singer of the Dirty Deeds band and bisexual, but that’s a part of his life he keeps from the club.
Cross absolutely loves being a cop, it’s who he is and all he’s ever wanted to be. He has his heart set on a promotion that he’s finely up for. He’s also openly gay except at work and plans to keep it that way since it hasn’t turned out so well for others on the force.
Cross spots Nash at a bar one night and can’t take his eyes off him. He decides to find out who the sexy man is and goes over and bumps into him, only that doesn’t go as planned. Cross is a patient man but soon realizes no two people could be more different than him and Nash! Even with the intense physical and sexual attraction Nash knows they both feel its just no way! A good clean cut cop and a bad ass biker/rocker is never a good idea and could also be very dangerous! They are opposites that fit so good together but can never fit in each other’s lives. Polar opposites living in their own worlds, one good, one bad, light, dark and both broken. Hiding and keeping their secrets is the only thing they do have in common except for the powerful strong feelings Nash never expected! It’s hopeless and yet so deliciously hot! A connection so strong that keeps drawing them together. Give and take! Never give up! Could it actually work? It’s so much more than just sexual, so damn much more! It just doesn’t get any better or hotter than Cross and Nash’s story!
The narrators Teddy Hamiltom and Aaron Shedlock absolutely did a fantastic job with bringing even more heat into Jeanne St. James already hot as hell audiobook! I absolutely loved it!!!
Crossing The Line
A Dirty Angels MC/Blue Avengers MC Crossover (Nash & Cross)
By: Jeanne StJames
I’m speechless and completely blown away!! Nash and Cross not only stole my heart, but embedded themselves in my soul.
Jeanne StJames has truly outdone herself with Crossing The Line. The characters steal your heart. The storyline grips your soul. I could not get enough of this story. The love, heartache, pain, confusion, laughter….everything!! I could go on and on. Nash and Cross unexpectedly find their soulmates and it’s brilliantly delivered, portrayed, and deserved.
LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this book and if I could give it 10 stars I would!!! Absolute MUST read!!
Thank you Jeanne StJames for Nash and Cross. They both have a permanent place in my heart!!
Jeanne St. James newest book is fantastic! A must read. Absolutely amazing love story. I Love Nash and Cross.
Omg! This book! All the feels What starts as a one time thing suddenly feels like more but they both know it won’t work. A cop and a biker? Not possible.
Nash keeps pushing Cross away while Cross wants to fight for a chance. This could ruin them both. Jeanne St James has a way of making you feel their turmoil, frustration, and hope. There is a HEA but oh it is a hard fought and heart wrenching journey.
This book was heart wrenching, and I had a hard time liking Nash until close to the end. I get he was being pulled in so many directions but I feel like he could’ve made better choices. My heart hurt for Cross, he was trying so hard. I’m torn, I loved it overall but hated parts of it. Proven loyalty should be returned with loyalty, no matter if you like someone’s lifestyle. And D is still an a$$!
So this was a new trope for me (m/m) but I love the author so I wanted to try it out. And while it took me a while to get comfortable with some of the scenes I enjoyed the book very much. Cross and Nash have so much against them that you would think they could never make it work but they do! Their story is just as strong and rich as everything else that Jeanne St. James has written. I was NOT disappointed.
Cross drives a cop car and Nash rides a bike. Not meant to be together EVER. This was a hot, hot story about two men as different as possible but totally hooked on each other. I loved it.
Loving someone can be the hardest thing you ever have to do, especially if the people who matters most in in your life think they know what is best for you. Love choose you and choose the one for you and no matter how hard you try you cannot fight what the heart wants. You can deny yourself but but it doesn’t stop you from wanting what your heart needs. This story is so complicated and heart breaking but it is also romantic intriguing and captivating. I just want to get my hands on that wicked father of Nash and take him somewhere deserted and give him a taste of his own medicine ten fold. It it time people get over themselves and leave people to live their lives and love whom they want to love. The Dirty Angels may not like that Nash is gay but they understand and accept that he love Cross, they just can’t get pass acceptance of him being a P and at least Nash knew that was the biggest challenge he had with his brothers. The most important thing is that he get to be with the man he loves and he still has his Dirty Angels family. I hope there will be more books in this series because I would like to know more about him and Cross in how their lives progress together and in their careers. This story is a beautiful spin off from the 10 books in the Down & Dirty series. They are all brilliant stories, a MUST read, unpredictable, unputdownable, steamy and gripping but don’t take my word, get them now. Satisfaction guaranteed.
5 star review of Crossing The Line: A Dirty Angels MC/Blue Avengers MC Crossover by Jeanne St James
Audio Review
This is an MM story and wow, what a fabulous book to listen too as the narration by Teddy Hamilton and Aaron Shedlock was spot on. I have been waiting for what seems forever for this story in audio but boy was it worth the wait. From start to finish Jeanne St James and the narrators drew me in and kept captivated with their narration as they brought this story to life for me.
I love Ms. St James’s writing, she packs such a punch into her characters and her stories. Raw and gritty there is something about this book that truly captivated me and I cannot wait for the next book in the series.
A forbidden love with a Biker and a Cop. These two had such a struggle in the beginning but it was so much fun seeing their relationship progress and the struggles that came up. I really liked this book and the narration was done beautifully. Such a fun book!
Fantastic Story & Narration Heartfelt, Intense & SmokingHot!
Crossing the Line
A Dirty Angels MC/Blue Avengers MC Crossover
Series: Down & Dirty: Dirty Angels MC
By: Jeanne St. James
Narrated by: Teddy Hamilton, Aaron Shedlock
This book is fantastic, Jeanne St. James is a gifted author, she writes stories that are captivating from start to end and this one is no exception. The storylines and characters she creates are complex, realistic and easy to relate to. I loved who she merges two of her different worlds/lifestyles in this book, worlds that are opposites in many ways yet the same in some, not that they would ever see or admit that. An MC club, is their own type of gang as are the Men in Blue, Law enforcement. This is a great opposites attract romance and I adored both lead characters. Nash is a bad ass rocker and biker, he more than a member of the Dirty Angels MC, it is his family. He has been hiding a part of himself from them because he is afraid of they will think differently of him. Aiden Cross’ blood runs blue, he loves his job and is looking to be promoted. He too hides his true sexuality in fear he will be shunned and not accepted in the ranks. He is hanging out in a gay bar when he sees Nash, there is an instant attraction, Nash fights it but he eventually gives in. The chemistry between them is smoking and can not be denied. I loved these two together, you would think two alphas together would not work but they do. I love how everything plays out in this book, there is never a dull moment with plenty of drama, angst, some heartfelt moments and some smoking hot ones. I also loved how Jeanne St. James kept it all real, showing how some have to hide their true selves because they are afraid they will not be accepted for who they are. I happy for Nash when he finally outed himself to the club, lifting a weight off his shoulder. Thank you for this fantastic story!!
I listened to the Audible edition, Aaron Shedlock and Teddy Hamilton are top notch narrators and voice artists. They bring the characters to life giving each their own voice, personality and attitude. They did an amazing job portraying the characters, they grasped their roles and became the characters, Aaron’s Nash and Teddy’s Cross sounded just as I pictured they would. And they were just as great with the secondary characters as well. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this awesome listen
Crossing the Line
A Dirty Angels MC/Blue Avengers MC Crossover
By: Jeanne St. James
Narrated by: Teddy Hamilton, Aaron Shedlock
Do opposites really attract? Nash and Cross meet at a bar, and the immediate attraction is palpable. But with Nash a member of the DAMC and Cross a police officer, this could never be more than a one night stand, right? I could not stop listening to this book for a couple of reasons. First, the story is just that good. These two macho, alpha men have great banter and chemistry is off the charts. But the problems they incur, even in today’s society make their relationship that much more difficult. Next, the characters themselves are so real, it’s like I know them. Nash could be that bad boy you know, the one you watch on stage and pine after as he sings. Cross is that good cop, the one you want to be your friend. Yet their secret sexuality makes them that much more real. You never really know someone. And lastly, the crossover of the characters, from the DAMC to the Blue Avengers. It’s always fun to see people we know as stories develop, and how they handle situations that come up. Jeanne St James always writes a hot, passionate story, but always has a meaningful message that comes through. I love her writing and this one is near the top of my list!
Once again, St James knocks it out of the park with the pick of her narrators. The team of Aaron Shedlock and Teddy Hamilton just enhance her book. These two bring out the best in the characters. Shedlock is the gruff, yet sensitive Nash and Hamilton as Cross, the good and loyal cop. But together they are magic and bring the couple alive. Loved every minute of this book and can’t wait to see more of them in the future stories.

By far my most favorite m/m romance I’ve ever read. The characters are amazingly well developed. How can these two men from such different worlds make a life together? I wanted to punch Nash in the face a lot and I thought Cross was waaaay too good for him until Nash does something so selfless and heart-breaking near the end, that I realized how perfect they were together. Emotional, heart-felt read. Loved it
Nash is a bad boy biker and lead singer for the band Dirty Deeds. He’s also bisexual but hides it due to his Dirty Angels MC affiliations. Cross is a cop with a rising career if he stays in the closet. He is with the Blue Avengers MC. The two meet at a bar and the attraction is hard for them to fight. These two shouldn’t work due to their circumstances but they manage to come out on top. A great read and story.
I am glad that I took a chance on this one. I absolutely love Jeanne’s books. But I normally don’t enjoy M/M books. But I took a chance on this one and lord was it a good book. Gripping and intense from beginning to end. Nash and Cross should not work as a couple. These two are complete opposite. But opposites are the best when it comes to couples. So hold on because these two take you on quite the emotional ride. Nash, the bad boy biker came from nothing and has been hiding who he really is from his family the MC. But then meeting Cross things inside him start to change. Cross, who is a police officer and has a bright future ahead of him but is also hiding who he is. A chance meeting at a bar changes both of their lives, if they let it happen. Emotional overload with these two. Jeanne did an amazing job writing this one. I absolutely loved it. Cross and Nash are one amazing couple. I highly recommend reading this one.
i have to admit every time i read Jeanne’s books i forget about the real world. such a great read like ALL her books. i highly recommend this book, basically all her books.
I have read a lot of M/M and after awhile they start to feel like the same story just different characters names. Not this one Nash and Cross story is a story that no matter how many times you read it, it will always pull at your heart and emotions. This story was one I was diein to read Nash on the wrong side of the law Cross is the law that can’t get enough of him. I love the fact that Cross saw something in Nash that made him want to stay even when pushes him away. They have a hard road to cross but a love like theirs only comes along once in a life time. This was a fantastic story it’s very interesting and very well written.
This was m/m done right! You feel the character’s struggles and pain. My heart ached for Nash and Cross who had to live a shell of a life for the sake of their brotherhoods. As a member of an outlaw MC and a cop they are total opposites. But they can’t deny the attraction they have and their chemistry is off the charts. Will they make it work between them? You’ll have to read this amazing book to find out.
Crossing the Line was by far the hottest M/M romance I have ever read. Your jaw will drop to the ground more times than you can count reading this one. I love the whole Dirty Angels series. This book blew me away entirely. I am not usually into M/M romances but Jeanne did this read in such a way that you can not help but be drawn in. I loved it from front to back and you will to. Go grab this one today.
I love this author and can’t say that enough. She truly has a beautiful way of telling a story. This one is no exception, she can pull you in like few authors can and truly make you feel what the caraters are going thru. Nash is one of the books I was looking forward to the most and he is nothing short of a amazing sexy alpha. I loved every second of this book. I love m/m reads anyways but this is one of my top picks of the year!!
