“Writing Crooked House was pure pleasure and I feel justified in my belief that it is one of my best.” –Agatha ChristieDescribed by the queen of mystery herself as one of her favorites of her published work, Crooked House is a classic Agatha Christie thriller revolving around a devastating family mystery. The Leonides are one big happy family living in a sprawling, ramshackle mansion. That is … big happy family living in a sprawling, ramshackle mansion. That is until the head of the household, Aristide, is murdered with a fatal barbiturate injection.

Great Agatha Christie. Good plotting, twist ending
easy to read good development of characters entertaining
Love Agatha…even though no Miss Marple or Hercule, still typical Christie – and that’s good!
It is Agatha Christie’s favorite book. I can see why.
I have always been a fan of Agatha Christie and I am not sure how I missed this book. It was a good mystery ,with many different characters. This author never fails to entertain and make a rainy day enjoyable!
A great mystery from the Queen of mystery herself!
Kept me guessing and surprise ending
I love Agatha Christie and this is at her best. This does not have her favorite detectives. I loved the characters especially the little girl as well as the man and woman who are in love. Great read.
One of Christie’s best.
