The next generation – the children of Snow White, Cinderella, and others – have lives and stories of their own. And not just long ago and far away but (sort of) here and now! Enjoy! I was going to be a great protagonist. At least that’s what my mom, Cinderella, kept telling me. I, however, had my doubts. Unlike most main characters at Lady Agnue’s School for Princesses & Other Female … & Other Female Protagonists, I was opinionated, bold, and headstrong. Moreover, for a princess, I had a lot of issues. I’m talking vicious nightmares about people I’ve never met, a total stalker prince, and a Fairy Godmother for an enemy.
But I digress. Because here’s the thing about living in an enchanted realm of fairytale characters, crazy junk you never planned on happens all the time. One minute you could be practicing fainting exercises in Damsels in Distress class, sword fighting in a field, or flying on a Pegasus, and the next, BAM! Your book has begun and you’re saddled with a prophecy that changes everything.
I still don’t know if I will be a great protagonist one day. But I know one thing about my fate, for certain. Despite what The Author and the antagonists have in store for me, whatever it costs. . .I’ll be the one taking charge of my own story..

While this book was fun to read it felt a little lengthy at parts maybe they all tie together later on in the second book I’m not sure I haven’t read that one but the fisrt one was kinda just ehh for me very different then traditional princess story’s so that was good but it was a little to juvenile for me.
Terrible writing. Couldn’t get past the first chapter because the main character’s “voice” was so annoying.
The story was very fun. Predictable but with enough novel material to make it entertaining. What I found distracting was that the book was full of errors, mostly spelling, but some words omitted and some substituted. It looks like there may be an edited version now though so this may be a mute point.
i enjoyed it for an easy read, I would have liked the male characters a bit more flushed out but I would recommend.
Nightmarishly boring. The author rambled on and on about nothing and when the story began to hint at something intriguing…….it went back to mind numbing boredom.
Wordy, wrought with info dumps, and an insipid protagonist.
Poor writing. Found the storyline boring.
Didn’t realize it’s not a stand-alone book – just the first part of the story (continued in the next books in the series).
Supposed to be medieval-ish, but had modern sensibilities (and morality).
needs an editor to prevent misuse of words but barring that quite entertaining.
It looked great from the reviews but unfortunately did not live up to it. I couldn’t even finish it
Couldn’t get past the first few chapters
Ended as a cliff hanger. Need to read another book in the series to find our what happens.
I enjoyed the book but sometimes it was just really slooowwwwww. Although I didn’t do it, I was extremely tempted to just skip a page (or two) during Krisanta’s long, drawn out inner dialogue. The characters were fun and I loved the story. I’m a big fan of fairytale retailing & their kids and this book really hit the spot for me.
IF you are a lover of fairytales, you might like this twist on the future of some of your favorite characters’ offspring. It’s not thrilling writing, and the puzzle pieces are a little difficult to discern if enjoy, but the series has potential. This was a shaky start, but I think I might continue with Book 2 and see if the characters become more defined and developed. There are funny moments in dialogue and often sarcasm and wit, which I love, and that is the main reason I’m willing to move forward with the series. If you want a series that starts off a thrilling bang and continues, this isn’t it. But I DO think it has potential. We’ll see!
AWFUL! It made no sense and was poorly written
Nice, fun read, but just didn’t draw me in.
