Being crew is walking between two worlds. One world is normal: Prom. Parties. College. Those are the concerns they worry about. In our world, we deal with other situations.Cops. Drugs. Brawling. That’s a typical day for us.But what if it wasn’t?What if there came a day when you stopped? When you considered letting your enemies win? When you didn’t fight back? When you chose a different path?First I lost … enemies win?
When you didn’t fight back?
When you chose a different path?
First I lost my family. Then I got the Wolf Crew.
I couldn’t lose them too.
But what happens when Cross, Zellman, and Jordan keep going…
…and I don’t?

4.25 Stars! I love Bren and Cross and was very excited to get more of the Crew and Roussou/Fallen Crest life. I devour each and every Tijan book because her stories are full of angst and drama and unexpected storylines. This book had some of that but the plot was definitely more complicated and Bren was going through a confusing time herself so it took me a bit to kind of grasp where the story was going. But we have all of the characters we love and love to hate. Even some from the past stopped by for a visit to give me all the warm feels when I think of them. Anyway, I can’t wait to get more Crew and pretty much anything Tijan wants to send my way. I’m always entertained from beginning to end and can’t put the book down until the very last word.
Gah…just when I think I couldn’t love Bren and Cross more Tijan hits me with this book. Seriously there was not one thing I didn’t like about this book. I couldn’t stop flipping the pages, the mantra of just one more chapter holding true through 5am.
I love having glimpses of some of my other Tijan favorites returning and seeing them all continue to grow.
The angst, the intrigue, the drama, the hot as hell sexy times mixed with the swoony moments for two bad*ss main characters was everything.
I need book 3 *gif of Chris Pratt saying RIGHT NOW*
Immature characters & a story that doesn’t go anywhere. a bunch of childish fights nothing really happens until the end. the ending sucks and didn’t make me want more I can’t read any more books by this author. She doesn’t write plots she writes immature drama with no plot
Holy Crap!! This book was fantastic, Y’all!
So first off, Crew Princess is NOT a
stand-alone! You must read Crew first! Now, that we have got that out of the way. This one picks up right where Crew left us. You are right back in with the crazy wolf pack of Bren Monroe ,The Crew Princess, her boyfriend, Cross, and her buddies Jordan and Zellman.
When something goes down at a rival school, Rousso has to take on some new students. There is some definite “turf war” type things happening between the new kids and the old kids. There’s gang activity all around with the new “Ryerson Crew” and “Frisco Crew”. I love that this has this almost “Outsiders” vibe to it. But it’s updated and awesome with a super bad ass chick as the lead! This book dives much deeper into the family dynamics of the crew members. It also shows how each one of these characters is dealing with the teenage pressures of wondering what’s going to happen after they graduate. And just the overwhelming pressures of actually just being a teenager! Except with these, they are also fighting rival gangs and trying to solve the mystery of who is trying to frame and sabotage one of them?
I love the banter and closeness between the Crew. They are like this perfect little dysfunctional family. Bren and Cross were Hella Hot though and Bren with Zellman and Jordan was so freakin funny at times. It was also awesome to see some old faces from some of our favorite Tijan books come back and make some appearances! That’s always the best!
*I voluntarily reviewed an advanced complimentary copy of this book.
My cr8zysockbookblock blog overall ratings for this book!
– Loved every single word! As always, Tijan knocked it outta the park!
I am such a fan of this Author. I pretty much know if she comes out with a new book, I’m going to love it! This was no exception. It was hot, the banter was sarcastic and funny. The flow was perfect and it was had me on the edge of my seat from the beginning to the end. It had plenty of angst and suspense.
– This book was hella hot! There was lots of scorching hot scenes. But what I loved it the love in them. It was like makin’ the “dirtiest of love” HOLY MOLY!
Cliffhanger Warning- There is a cliffhanger. It’s not what I would call an Epic, cliffhanger of all cliffhangers. There will be a Crew 3 , so I think we will all tune in. I definitely want more of this world! I wasn’t ready to let them go anyway.
Crew Princess is the SECOND installment in the Crew series. I just want to start out by saying it is very important you read Crew before diving into Crew Princess.
Tijan did not disappoint with this book. I recently just read Crew and I’m glad I did because I wouldn’t have been able to wait very long before diving in to book two. The story is addicting. The characters are phenomenal.
I love each member of the Wolf Crew for entirely different reasons.
Cross. Ooohhh my goshhh!! That man can have me seven ways from Sunday. He’s mine. I claim him. Sorry Bren. Cross has this dark aura that consumes him some times. He is silent but deadly. He’s dangerous. He’s intelligent. He’s a leader and he’s passionate about his family, Crew included. We got to see a little in Cross’s perspective this book (which I won’t spoil) and I really loved being able to see him in a different light.
Bren is the badass heroine we all love. She’s dangerous, lethal, blunt and has a ‘take no prisoners’ attitude. Just because she’s a female in a crew of all males doesn’t mean she’s the weakest link. She is just as dangerous as the other three. She’s a wildcard and I freaking love it.
I am hoping we are able to see more of Jordan and Zellman in the future. Of course they are Crew and we saw them plenty in Crew and Crew Princess but I want to know their lives. How they think. Jordan is a brutal force that shows no compassion for enemies. And Z, he is the jokester of the group. He’s the comedic relief when the time calls for it. But he is just as deadly.
Wolf Crew have the perfect balance for each other and I loved them all. Tijan did a really great job with this book. I loved reading this story but I am SO upset that I have to wait until next year for more of this crazy group. I can’t wait though. I know Tijan will do them right! Now I have time to catch up with the other books in this world!
This is the second book in the series and will read best as a continuation of the first. The narrative held a variety of twists and turns but did not move quite as fast as the first book in the series. This was probably for a few reasons, one of which is that the book’s synopsis/summary was a bit vague in portraying the direction of the story line. There was this lingering anticipation that something was going to transpire that just never came to fruition. However, character growth was a big part of the narrative and this was demonstrated expertly by Tijan’s ability to develop a deeper emotional side to many of her characters. It was beautiful and raw. A good book, a great follow up to Crew, and a fantastic prelude to book three.
Crew Princess is the second book in the Crew series by the kickass, Tijan! I highly recommend reading Crew first so you get the full story. You do not need to read the Fallen Crest series to get just that but it will make you to want to. I know that’s exactly what it has done to me but I haven’t gotten to it yet. I don’t want to spoil anything so this will be quick.
Bren and her Crew are now seniors in High School. It was a time to think about Prom, colleges, and parties. It was the same with her crew but they had to also think about protecting each other, their school, and their families. Even if it means that brings them into a violent situation. The Crew was number one. But what happens after they graduate?
That is what Bren wants to know. She is actually thinking about the future. She doesn’t know what it will entail. Will the Crew all go their own way? Will their family fall apart? She doesn’t fear anyone but she fears this.
That’s really all I can say. I will say that it is addicting! There are twisted and turns at every corner. So many oh, fuck moments. I love this Crew. They all have their own personalities but have loyalty in common. Friendship.
I can’t wait for more!
Quotes:
Z and I shared a look, our eyebrows raised. He grunted, a slight grin tugging at his lips. “I don’t know if I should be impressed or weirded out.” He thought about it. “I think I’m turned on.”
My phone buzzed in my pocket. Seeing it was Cross, I answered. “Hello, my penis.” Silence. I pulled the phone away, checked to make sure it was him, and prodded, “Cross? Hello?”
“Did you just call me your penis?”
“I need to see you, Bren. Not the you in my arms right now, not the you you show everyone else. I need the real you, the one I know you hide. I need you.”
Bren and Cross are everything!!! I didn’t think I could love this book more than Crew but I absolutely fell in love with it within the first few pages. I love how we saw now only the relationship between Bren and Cross grow, but we saw Bren grow as a person on her own. With that, you also see her becoming closer with Channing and Heather… and who doesn’t want more of them?! I also loved the cameos by the older Fallen Crest group and cannot wait to read the 3rd book to see where this goes as well as Nate’s book! I need more!!!
You need to read Crew before this one, I can’t deny I am a Tijan fan and have been for years, this book keeps solidifying that statement. Crew Princess has Bren and the Wolf Crew are still together, they are still dealing with everything that is going on and now they are facing challenges that they never thought will come, changing their lives. Cross and Bren relationship is still going, but high school is about to end. I can’t deny that my all time favorite characters appearance got to me. I was so excited to see them. A 5 star must read!
Tijan is one of my favourite author. For me, reading her books is like breathing.
I thought that Crew was the shot, that killed me, but the first book in series was only a little scratch.
The Wolf Crew is back.
With serious problems.
Crew Princess starts when Crew ended. If you remember all cases which Bren and her mates were doing, good for you. If not… read the first book before Crew Princess.
Bren still is on probation in school, but in this year she has a serious problem.
With graduation her friends will go to different cities and she will stay alone in Roussou school.
Changes are coming.
Do the Crew will survive all of them?
As I said in the beginning I like Tijan. You’ll never hear from me a bad word, when I am saying about her books.
For me all of them are fantastic, somethimes shocking, but mostly cool.
One time I said, that with The Fallen Crest series, Tijan done a great relation between Mason and Samantha. A lot of authors wanna do something like in theirs books, but nobody knows how to do it.
For me Mason and Sam will be always the best couple in book I have ever read.
And on the second place on this couple list I have…. Cross and Bren.
Cross is my husband. Mason too if you wanna know. I love both of them for their characters. Cross is a strong, smart guy. 100% Alpha. Bren is the best choice for him. They are real Crew Prince and Princess.
Again, Tijan devastated me with this ending. I can’t wait for the Crew 3.
Also I think I will read The Fallen Crest series again. Because why not?
Maybe when I will end Mason’s and Sam story, Tijan will release the third book about Cross and Bren?
AHHH. Crew Princess was absolutely AH-MAZING. it was sexy and emotional and an all around adrenaline rush. I seriously can’t get enough of the the Wolf Pack crew. The more I get of Bren, Cross and her crew the more I need!! This story was pure FIRE!
Without giving away any spoilers, it is so important that you read Crew before reading this book. I would also make it a point to read Channing and Heather’s book as well as they are both huge characters in this installment. Tijan did it again with Crew Princess as this story was just an unbelievable addition to the series. It was sexy, emotional, riveting and full of the drama that we love. And omg the secrets and revelations knocked me flat out! I was consumed from the beginning and never wanted this story to end! How amazing! 5 brilliant stars! ~Ratula
CREW PRINCESS is one of the kind electrifying must-haves!!!
So wonderfully consuming, yet so engaging I did not want to put it down for one minute. Not to mention that Bren just stole the show with her awesomeness!!! But my heart fell madly deeply in love with Cross!!!
Just a brilliantly smart storyline!!!! Boom a 6 star read!
Growing Up & Possibly Evolving, Now That Can Be Terrifying, Even For Crew!!
Crew Princess
I devoured this book, but the story wrapped around my entire body & heart, I was there – I was watching & living it all with them. I was breathless, my heart was pounding, I was livid, I was scared & I was terrified for them all but especially for her – Bren!!
This is a book of such massive growth for the Wolf Crew, individually & collectively, It was a sight to behold The Normals need the Crew’s again as trouble keeps coming. No one can figure out quite where the attacks are coming from or who they’re after – smoke & mirrors, misdirection & a huge threat are right on the doorstep – Will they put it all together in time to save the Crew System, the Normals & one of their very own that’s the real target??
Bren & Cross are so freaking in love, steaming up the pages & having each other’s backs Cross has so many issues flying at him in this book I don’t know how he held himself together!! His sister Taz disappointed me regarding Race, her selfishness Tabetha & Sunday were surprising & enlightening Z was brilliant and Jordan was as solid as granite!! Bren was pretty steady – considering!
I loved every page of this book. That ending, What will Crew #3 have in store? The evolving that continued throughout for the Crew but also the Normals attitudes towards them & the realisation that were came to? They were fantastic Bren’s continued fear of ‘what would happen next’ was heartbreaking, she’s normally so strong, but that refusal to look ahead said so much about the little girl that still hurt inside of her!!
I can’t wait for what Tijan comes up with next for these wonderful characters.
By the way – who was camping river girl? …..

Tijan has delivered a book that is more than just a high school teen romance. Crew Princess will have you in the feels. This story picks up from book 1.
There is Bren and Cross who are part of the Wolf Crew and then there is just Bren and Cross. I enjoyed seeing Bren and Cross as a couple. The connection they have and the love they share is unmistakeable.
There are plenty of twists and turns that will have you flipping the pages faster than you can read. Tijan will have you anticipating and questioning everything that is happening. I look forward to the next book in the Crew series. You are left saying WTf at the end of Crew Princess. Not in a bad way. Start this series today!
I didn’t know how much I missed the Crew until I started to read this book. How much I miss Bren, Jordan, Z and of course, my forever crush, Cross <3
This book is about second chances, about the future and moving on. This is their senior year in Roussou and with it, the uncertainty of the future. The Wolf Crew is now facing new and old enemies and they will have to deal with them and try to protect themselves.
“Crew Princess” picks up where “Crew” book 1 of the series left off, so I recommend to read Crew first before diving into this one. I really loved book 1 and I was very intrigued about Crew Princess. My expectations were high and let me tell you this book was beyond them. Getting to know more about the whole crew was overwhelming.
I love witnessing how Bren has grown up, she's still a badass but she’s now more mature and now she thinks things through twice because now she cares and not only for her crew, also for her family. She’s a very important member and because of that, she’s a target too. Her crew, the only system she knows is in danger, and she won’t let anything happen, which means that things will get messy.
The plot literally blew my mind away! I wasn’t expecting it so I was hooked until the last page. This series is one of my fave for sure and Tijan just nailed it again, she made us wait but it was worthy. Her brilliant writing was just the cherry on the top.
This was a very angsty and emotional ride, there is a lot of things going on, and you just want to know how things will be fixed! Everything ends pretty well, I’m so happy for that, even though it ended on a cliffhanger! I’m just so eager to have the next book ASAP. I need to know what’s more for the whole Crew.
Oh my gosh. I first just want to say how much I love Tijan’s writing. She’s amazing and I’ve loved every book I’ve read of hers but there is something about these characters that I just connect with in such an amazing way.
We jump right back in with Bren and her crew in Crew Princess.
“The ugliness of it, the harshness of it, the realness of it. It’s simple. With violence, someone gets hurt, it’s going to happen. You’re on one side or the other. There’s no in between, because that’s the bottom line for violence. Your mind is allowed to shut off. Your body takes over. And your body knows to protect it’s own.”
And the shit has well and truly hit the fan. There are so many things going on, and the mystery of trying to find out what is going on and who is behind it all, will have you glued to the pages through it all.
But it’s not just that. The dynamic between Bren and her Crew is changing and evolving, as are the people.
There is so much character development. Especially, Bren. It’s great to get to see her grow so much throughout this book.
She goes through such a metamorphosis in this book.
The emotions in this one are real, Ya’ll. Prepare yourselves.
“We were feared. We were loved. We were respected.”
Oh, my gosh. this book killed me but also filled me with such happiness. I love these characters and this story so much.
Tijan really knows how to makes these characters come alive on the pages.
“I got you,” he said softly before bending down for my mouth. That was all I needed.”
The action, the romance ( Gah! Where’s my Cross?!) the drama, just all of it makes for the perfect read you won’t want to put down.
Tijan has done it yet again. Just learn to expect greatness from her.
4.5 Stars!!!
The Wolf Crew is back and better than ever! Their bonds are stronger and their enemies are even more determined to bring them down. I loved the growth in this story. Not only in character development, but also in plot progression. As Bren, Cross, Jordan, and Zellman navigate through their senior year, enemies from the past rise up at every turn. The twists, the revelations… Channing!… it made for quite a page turner. What I loved most about this story, is that it wasn’t your typical swoony love story. Crew Princess is different. It’s edgy, it’s a bit cagey, it’s super fun! I highly recommend!

4.5 Stars!
Crew Princess was as corrupt, violent, disturbing and heart breaking as I’d expected it to be. I absolutely adored getting to experience more Bren and Cross, along with the other Roussou, Fallen Crest and Frisco characters. This book was so dramatic, keeping you guessing what else could go wrong and what would happen next. Tijan did such an incredible job of weaving a tangled web of deception, chaos and distrust into the story. I was on the edge of my seat the entire book.
Bren’s character proved to be even more vulnerable, broken, and guarded in Crew Princess. My heart broke for her and all she’d been through in her short life. The losses she’d experienced. The guilt she felt. The loneliness she hid away day in and day out. This novel did an incredible job of peeling back the layers of her complex character and showing her true identity to the reader.
I loved seeing Mason, Logan and Sam make a cameo in this read. It brought back such good memories of the Fallen Crest series! It truly felt like the torch was being passed to the Wolf Crew and their friends. I cannot wait for Crew 3! What a wild ride that book is sure to be!
Ahhh I love this story so much and like usual, Tijan is writing a great heroine and a love story that grows over the story and within the pages .
Old and new characters are present in this instalment, at tomes I felt like watching a movie, that much invested I was because, Tijan has a way with words and the story building that leaves you speechless so many times.
Once again I’m blown away with Tijan. Crew Princess is everything. Tijan just blew me away.
I honestly love Crew life. I wish I was cool like Bren to be a part of one.
This book though, it seriously is soo good. Tijan kept me on my toes. I was on the edge waiting for it. I was so ready, but wasnt ready eveything that Tijan put me through. It was amazing, and emotional. There were moments where all I wanted to do was just hug Bren, Cross, Taz, Race, Z, Jordan, Sunday and Channing! Then of course there were moments I wanted to slap them all!
If you loved Crew, FC, The Boy I Grew up With, then this book will be no different for you. I love this world of Tijans so much!
