Being crew is walking between two worlds. One world is normal: Prom. Parties. College. Those are the concerns they worry about. In our world, we deal with other situations.Cops. Drugs. Brawling. That’s a typical day for us.But what if it wasn’t?What if there came a day when you stopped? When you considered letting your enemies win? When you didn’t fight back? When you chose a different path?First I lost … enemies win?
When you didn’t fight back?
When you chose a different path?
First I lost my family. Then I got the Wolf Crew.
I couldn’t lose them too.
But what happens when Cross, Zellman, and Jordan keep going…
…and I don’t?

I loved Crew and couldn’t wait to see more of these characters and Crew Princess did not disappoint. Crew Princess picks up from where Crew ended, and I highly recommend reading it prior to this title.
Crew Princess has an intriguing plot full of surprises and twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. This title surprised me as I thought this book would feature either Jordan or Zellman as the main character, but instead it continues to follow the path of all four members of the Wolf Crew, for the majority it’s told from Bren’s point of view.
The Wolf Crew is just as protective, loyal and lethal as in they were in Crew, but a tad more cautious and contained at times. I loved seeing Bren in particular grow, develop and mature as a character over the course of this title.
Tijan’s characters are dynamic and endearing, and the members of the Wolf Crew are no different. Seeing their relationships with each other grow and evolve I can’t wait for the next installment in this series. The Wolf Crew may be tested in this title, but their friendship, love and loyalty is undeniable and incredibly strong.
I highly recommend this title and series to anyone who loves Tijan’s Fallen Crest series, as the Crew Series has very similar themes, intricacies and relationships.
Crew Princess gave me a serious book hangover!!! I loved it so much that I not only read it twice but I also re-read a lot of my favorite moments. The book was just THAT good. Crew Princess picks up where the first book left off, in Bren’s world.
Bren is still a badass, she’s tough as nails, fearless, thoughtful, intuitive, smart, beautiful, she’s royalty, Crew Princess. She’s facing a lot of changes since she’s a senior and Bren doesn’t know how to handle it all. Not to mention the storm that’s brewing in Rousso which of course the wolf pack is at the center of it all.
Cross, Jordan, and Zellman are still as amazing as ever. The wolf pack has only gotten stronger and have grown up a lot. While they’re still protective as well as loyal towards each other, they’ve matured in a lot of ways. In this book, you see their bonds of friendship is deeper than before. You’ll see what I mean by the ending of the book. Her wolfpack knows her so well and goes through all the lengths to show her.
Can I just say I’m more in love with Cross than I was before? The way he loves Bren and constantly steps ahead just amazes me. He’s so strong and loves her something fierce. He’s her soulmate.
It was great seeing the progress of her relationship with Chan and Heather. They’ve grown a lot. Plus I love Chan’s crew. They’re not only his crew but Bren’s family and they will do whatever they have to protect her. Not to mention characters from Fallen Crest series made an appearance. I loved seeing the other characters interact with Bren’s world. I missed them.
Crew Princess is filled with angst, drama, secrets, loyalty, love, steamy moments, along with LOTS of twist and turns. It was emotional and a perfect read. Tijan defines what it means to be Ride or Die.
I give a 5+ star rating!!! You need to read Crew before reading Crew Princess and this book does end on a no freaking way cliffhanger moment. Tijan, please release it soon!! It’s a must-read book and I can’t wait for you guy’s to read it!
Most of Crew Princess’s characters may be teenagers (between seventeen and eighteen since they’re seniors in high school), but if you think this is nothing more than another young adult (YA) romance, think again. If you’re familiar with Tijan’s writing, you know that while a lot of her books have main characters who are teens, the stories they tell aren’t your typical YA romances. The situations they find themselves in may not seem like your everyday sort of teen scenario or backdrop, but you may be surprised to find out how familiar they can be to other readers.
Because this is the second in a continuing series involving the same main characters, I suggest that the books be read in order. That being said, the series also has familiar characters from the author’s previous releases–namely, the Fallen Crest High series and The Boy I Grew Up With, as far as I know–but with me only having read the latter (I know, I know! I need to get started on working on the FCH series!), I feel that it’s pretty safe to say that you can go ahead and read the Crew series without reading either one. However, be prepared to have your curiosity piqued!
I loved seeing how much Bren has developed as a main character in this second novel. She’s definitely not a “Normal”, but she’s also grown a great deal and has a better handle on striking a balance between the Bren who is part of the Wolf Crew and in love with Cross to the Bren who is Channing’s younger sister and so on. She’s also facing the usual challenges a teen her age has: that of what happens after high school graduation. Changes abound and Bren, as well as her family and friends and their hometown, must stand together in order to get through it all.
There’s a great deal of tension in this book, but Tijan never overplays her hand, creating instead a story that has you immensely invested in the outcome while leaving you craving for even more from this book universe. Even with characters this young, there’s nothing juvenile about their experiences, inviting readers of any age group to not only enjoy reading the book but also immerse themselves fully in the comings and goings of this cast–just ask any fan of the author’s interconnected books. Crew Princess is, indeed, one of 2019’s stellar reads. Five-plus stars.
Crew Princess is the second book in the Crew series and MUST be read in order. This review does contain spoilers from the first book, so if you have not read Crew yet please stop reading!
Jumping back in right after the events of the first book, we see the fallout from that crazy ending and where it’s left the members of Wolf Crew. Bren & Cross are stronger than ever, Jordan & Zellman are navigating there own romantic relationships, and their Crew is just as tight as they’ve always been. But they’re nearing the end of their senior year, and Bren feels the shift happening, even if she’s not sure what lies ahead.
Just like Crew, Crew Princess is told from Bren’s POV, and while there is a lot of focus on her in this book I do wish we had also gotten Cross’s POV. He is a huge part of the story, and I think seeing how everything played out from his perspective would have given this book the extra push it deserved. I loved the character relationships, how they all grew & developed since the beginning, and fans of Tijan are in for a treat with special guests throughout.
Balancing new and old relationships, crew business, the future, and plenty of unforeseen drama, Crew Princess is high on the angst scale. With plenty of drama & action, this book will have you on the edge of your seat while straddling the line between laughing and crying. From the beginning of book 1 to the end of book 2 their lives have drastically evolved, and set us up for a spectacular book 3!
*4,5 stars*
The follow-up to Crew is here and you don’t want to miss what’s happening next! I’d definitely recommend reading Crew first as you will be able to follow the story more and learn even more about all the characters! It has been a rollercoaster ride and can’t wait to see what happens next in this series.
We’re picking up where we left off at the end of Crew and learn more about what’s really going on. Bren is trying to figure out where to go next and is worried about what the future holds when they all will be graduating. But as always Cross is by her side, alongside the other crew members and there’s a vow that’s being left unspoken although heard. While everyone is trying to figure out the new threat looming over them, Bren seems to be changing along the way and growing stronger. Will she be able to keep her crew together?… Or will it all fall apart around them?…
This book, oh my gosh, I can’t even say enough good things about this book and about Tijan in general. She is a word goddess, hands down one of my all-time favorite authors. She knows just what to do to keep you hooked throughout an entire book, heck throughout an entire series of books, she leaves you begging for more in the best way possible.
Bren Monroe is Wolf Crew through and through. Cross, Zellman, and Jordan are her life. It’s been them against the world since their crew formed, but as senior year is coming to a close, Bren soon realizes that her crew may be splitting up and going separate ways. She knows college isn’t for her, but is it for the boys? Cross is more than crew, he is the love of her life, and she isn’t sure she is ready for to be away from him. When things around town start happening, and a bonfire at District Weekend turns out to be anything but normal, Wolf Crew will stop at nothing to figure out what’s going on. When the pieces of the puzzle start coming together and the end of high school draws nearer can Bren keep it together?
Such Fallen Crest vibes from this book, and Cross and Bren are so much like Mason and Samantha. Their dynamic, their strong separate but together they are even stronger. I also loved to see the relationship between Cross and Channing, and Heather and Bren. We don’t see a whole lot of it, but the parts that we do get to see show that the bonds they have are everlasting and their relationships are evolving. I also seriously loved watching Bren grow as a character. This book showed Bren growing as her own person, not just a member of her crew. I adore these characters, and I LOVED that we got to see some of the characters from Fallen Crest! I cannot wait for 2020, bring on Crew 3!
“I loved him so much. I needed him so much. I yearned for him so much.”
The Author made me cry…a lot. This story really messed with every emotion I had, and becoming so intertwined with these characters in Book 1, I just didn’t want this one to end!! The Crew met every single obstacle possible their Senior Year, but these guys had way more on their plate than most. I giggled, I gripped my kindle, and I inhaled the dizzying, intoxicating goodness that is The Crews. The twists threw me right off the chair, the jaw drops were a plenty, and the journey these characters took just blew me away. The END!!! I just can’t wait for the next book!! I thank the Author for providing a copy to review!!
“No one else makes me feel like I’m half a person. My other half is in my arms. No matter what happens in the future-where we go, where we don’t go-this stays.”

„This is what we did, our crew. One of us needed something, and we were there.”
Oh, man… Tijan surely knows how to lure her readers! Crew Princess was action-packed rollercoaster of emotions and I still want more. This story was full of twists and turns and unexpected developments. But although the danger is constantly in the air, we feel secure, because the friendship, loyalty and allegiance between the characters is unbreakable and stronger than ever.
Crew Princess starts where the Crew ended. Bren is on probation after the events that took place in previous book. With approaching graduation she worries what it means for her and her friends. But aside of that, the tension and rivalry between crews is growing and her squad needs to protect what’s theirs. A lot of changes is coming, and not only these concerning crew life.
Tijan filled this story with so much suspense, that I was constantly on the edge of the seat. I was piecing everything along with Bren and the shifts in story made me sitting with mouth agape. I loved seeing Bren’s calmer, more vulnerable side, even when she was still the same fierce and fearless girl we got to know. I adored Cross, his alpha vibe and devotion to his girl. I’m really happy that this book bared a little more of him. I only wish that we could have more romance between him and Bren. Cherry on top? Cameos of our favorite characters from Fallen Crest series! Oh, how I missed them!
Crew Princess is an excellent installment in this series and I can’t wait for more. I’m super excited to get to know how everything will play out.
“It wasn’t just pain. It was everything. I felt it all. Love. Agony. Hurt. Anger.”
Crew Princess was everything I wanted it to be and more. The prologue was genius and pulls you in demanding more. The story is suspenseful leaving me on the edge waiting for the next shoe to drop and then…the plot thickens. There is hate, rage, betrayal, love and bonding that brought tears to my eyes. The Crew is graduating High School and plans need to be made for the future but first they need to survive the present.
“You either hurt or you get hurt. We chose to hurt first.”
Bren is still has badass as ever and Cross is just as swoon worthy…ok he is definitely more in this one. I loved watching the character growth and the ending was definitely unexpected. I’m so ready to see what will happen in book 3. I highly recommend this book!!!
“We weren’t hated. We were feared. We were loved. We were respected.”

We are back with the Crew who I’m happy to say are still as tight as ever. There is a different tone to this one because things are changing. School is nearly over but noone has mentioned what happens next.
I love Bren she may not be a laugh a minute character but I still found humor with her. Seeing her navigate new feelings for friends outside Crew was endearing and at times funny. Cross is the best support system for her, I just love how he supports her.
With new people come new enemies and they seem to be coming at them from all sides. The fact this brought old friends back made me jump up and down with happiness. Heather and Channing really step up for Bren and showed just how far they would go for her.
How these changes will affect not only the Crew but Bren and Cross only time will tell but I’m excited for the future
Anytime I get my hands on a book by this author, I pretty much go into “do not disturb me” mode. Sleep is optional, right? A crew isn’t quite like a gang, but rather a deep level of friendship / family, loyalty, and protection. Bren, Cross, Zellman, and Jordan are still members of the Wolf Crew, but the system threatened on many fronts. TInstances of town rivalry are be popping up and graduation is quickly approaching.
Crew Princess took me a little while to get into the book and I was thinking “this isn’t going to be as good as Crew”. Then the story picked up and I was left thinking “Wow! This is even better than book 1!” Bren is in avoidance mode as she doesn’t want to know what will happen after graduation – will her crew all leave her? I felt that 2/3 of the way in, she grew up and matured as she really started to look inwards at herself. She is still a tough cookie with both a dark side and a hidden vulnerable side that only her crew sees. Cross remains a likable hero and I love how he is able to see past her walls – how he really knows her. There is still the romance between them with some rather steamy scenes, but I wasn’t always feeling their connection and I like that the book’s sole focus wasn’t just on their relationship. I enjoyed getting reacquainted with Jordan, Zellman, Taz, Tabitha, as well as a few others as I think these secondary characters help make the story. Mason , Samantha, and Logan from the Fallen Crest High series do make a few appearances and while I haven’t read the entire FC series, I did not find myself lost.
One of the things that I loved about this book is we get to see how all the different family dynamics play a role as well as all the twists, turns, and revelations scattered throughout the book. If you enjoyed this author’s previous works, especially Crew, then you will love Crew Princess.
Holy Hell this book was amazing!! I devoured this book in one afternoon and very narrowly restrained myself from murdering my husband as he kept interrupting me whilst I was reading and at 75% when EVERYTHING was going off. He obviously had a huge death wish lol.
If you haven’t read Crew then I advise you do as it picks up after Crew left off and you will want to understand the dynamics and relationships in this one and honestly you don’t want to ruin your love and enjoyment from this masterpiece.
Tijan has outdone herself with this one. She keeps you on the edge of your seat with this one. So much happens you will not want to put this down so seriously make sure you lock yourself away for everyone around’s safety.
So much is going on with the Crew, trouble is brewing and tensions are rising. The Crew are still strong but with graduation looming what is going to happen next?
This book is SO DAMN GOOD!!!!!
This is the first I’ve read from this author, now I know this is book 2 and was mildly concerned about jumping in without reading Crew, but I gave it a shot and I’m so glad I did. I didn’t know what to expect, I went in blind. From the first page, I was enthralled. The more I read about Bren, Cross, Jordan and Z, the more I wanted to read. I literally lost myself in the pages of their story, I wasn’t just reading about them, I was on the periphery watching it all go down, I was in the moment with them at every turn. When they had their moments of clarity and the pieces fell into place for whatever incident, I was right there with them.
I have no doubt I will go back and read Crew before #3 comes out, not because I feel I missed out, but because the story is THAT good that I want to know it all.
There are the normals and the crew members. You are either one or the other.
Shes crew and always has been. It’s in her blood, in her soul and most definetly in her family.
The wolf crew might be small in size but they are mighty and merciless where it counts.
Old enemies rear their heads, new faces find their footing and the biggest question is, who do you believe and what is their agenda…
This book gave me shivers and goose pimples as I read it!
Tijan has once again done it! Shes brought you a read you cant put down, a whole host of characters to love and hate, and the chance to delve deeper.
Bren the girl that got left behind well and truly finds her footing in this. Shes everywhere yet nowhere, In the shadows and behind the camera and exactly where she needs to be.
Shes an amazing character! So strong and fierce, loyal and mighty. A force to be reckoned with.
Cross the leader, the guy who loves his girl like no other, is unrivalled in his abilities, and more than capable of making you drool!
I was hooked from the start as I knew I would be as I loved the first book “crew”.
The names were thrown thick and fast, the connections came slowly and the answers, well they came when you needed them most.
Now I have a need for the next book in the series. I cant wait to see in what direction it goes!
Tijan’s books are never like any other author I read. They always draw me into worlds I never even contemplate and they always make me think about them long after I’ve finished reading them.
Princess Crew is a book I’d consider that falls just a smidge outside of my typical wheelhouse, but also still just enough inside to have kept my interest the entire way through. It is not your typical love story, not by any trope that is contained in the romance genre. Crew is hard to explain unless you read it, because I hate comparing it a gang or mafia, but those are the best generalizations I can come up with. There is no hero or heroine falling in love in this second book because there is already a love story in progress, a very powerful story about two young lovers whom have already fallen in love in the first book, this is a continuation of that story along with their friends and loved ones. That along with the underlying suspense, danger, and mystery of what transpires makes for an plot.
We find Bren and Cross entering their final months of high school. Bren is basically resisting the fact that things are coming to an end, while at the same time things are still progressing forward with crew because life never stops rolling ahead.
What does that mean exactly?
With the end of high school, deep down she knows that Cross, Zellman, and Jordan, the other members of the Wolf Crew, will be heading on to college, where as she will be staying in Roussou. She hasn’t made any plans for the future as she doesn’t handle change at all and because of that has decided to basically bury her head in the sand over the fact that chance is coming. Perhaps if she avoids it it will never arrive, right?
But first, she has to survive; the bonfire, prom, and lastly graduation.
