We really hurt you.And if you f*ck with us, we will end you.My name is Bren.I’m the only female in the Wolf Crew—the best, fiercest, and most dangerous crew there … Crew—the best, fiercest, and most dangerous crew there is—and we have a rule: There’s no falling in love.
Well… too late.

First off I just want to say that Tijan did an excellent job no not excellent PHENOMENAL job writing this book. It took me two days to read it and I was pissed off because I did not want to put it down but life got in the way so I had to put it down. I have read a lot of books but this one just blew me out the water. I mean I can’t stop thinking about the characters and all the drama that went down in this book. I know I will re-read it again and again till the next book comes out.
Bren is our main character and she is bad a$$, fierce, loyal and everything a loyal friend is. She is part of Crew and they stick together doing everything together. She is the only girl in the Crew and she takes no s!@# from anyone and get down just like the guys in the Crew. She can hold her own and everyone knows not to mess with her because she will not stand for it. See there are rules to follow and she follows all of them except for one. Never fall in love but that is so hard when the person you fall for knows everything about you and knows what your going to do before you do it.
This is where the story really drew me in. Seeing Bren slowly fall in love and realize that she loves that person and will do anything to be with that person. You get to see why Bren is so guarded and for good reason because she has had a hard life and has gone through hell and back holding on to stuff that hurts but pushing it down so she can live day to day.
I can’t say enough about this book. I don’t want to spoil it for the reader but I will say that this book is one of my favorites for 2018. I can’t see what Tijan has in store for us with the next book. This is a world where you will want to revisit it time and time again.
Beautifully Written. Broken Teens Mending Each Other!!
(Read using Kindle Unlimited)
Tijan has written a wonderful book about broken but surviving teens. Having each other’s backs, no matter what, is this fours biggest asset and they will protect their own!!
Bren, the main character, is struggling on the inside. She doesn’t discuss it with anyone – not even with Cross, her best friend and Crew member!! There is little he doesn’t know about her but her darkness has been growing inside & she doesn’t want it to drag him down!!
Much happens throughout this book. You think it’s winding down but then something else explodes in another direction and we’re off again. It’s fascinating & gripping reading!! I really liked Cross, Bren & Zellman but I’ll be reserving my judgement on Jordan! I’m really concerned about Drake being back I can’t wait for book #2

Another hit from Tijan . I enjoyed this book . It had a lot of dark moments but that is how it is for some teenagers . I like Bren , I though she was a feisty , strong and hardheaded girl. I think for the things she has been thru she has learned how to deal with it . Even if some may say it is in a negative way . I liked the family aspects of this story that Tijian brings in . Not all families are the same and some are not even blood . I loved every part of this story even the parts that made me cringe or cry . I can not wait for the next one .
Anyone read Tijan’s Fallen Crest series? Then you must remember Channing and Heather. Sorry not their story (though that’s coming soon) but the story of Channing’s little sister, Bren.
Channing started the crew system. The crews remind me like gangs without all the blood and guts to get in. Crew are hard kids who have each others back and will jump into fights to help their fellow crew. They do not help out Normals.
I love Tijan’s Fallen Crest series. Love it. So when this popped up I thought hey I’m going to give this a try. Well I tried it all right.
I didn’t like it.
Bren was annoying. I really didn’t like her. At first I didn’t know who her love interest is, but sort of figured it out. The story just fell flat for me. I am however going to read the next book because I want to know what the hell is about to happen between the crews.
This book had potential but just didn’t make the cut for me. And it made me want to reread Fallen Crest.
Tijan has done it again! What an amazing start to a new series I can’t wait to read more about. I loved this story. It was emotional. It was suspenseful and more than held my attention. The characters were real and raw and broken and I was so intrigued by their lives. I really loved this story and I do not want to say anymore because I don’t want to get into plot points and spoil that for you. I will just say, you definitely need to read this story and I am so looking forward to more Crew.
I pretty much devoured this book. I love Fallen Crest High, so Crew already started on the right foot by being from the same world. I did have one complaint about FCH and it was like the author was reading my mind and gave me what I wanted in Bren.
I always wanted Sam to fight back more with the mean girls. Bren did exactly that. I loved that she was feared. I loved that she always stood up for herself. I loved the loyalty she felt for her crew and a select few outside of her crew. I just like reading about females who can fight and defend themselves.
Cross gave Mason a run for his money in lead hero status. He never once wavered where Bren was concerned. Despite the slow burn and the very little romance in the book, I never doubted how much Bren and Cross meant to each other. It was easy to see why their relationship was envied.
I really like getting to see more of Channing and Heather. I liked their roles in this book. Going from their own high school dramatics to being stand in parents to Bren. Their roles added a lot to the story and my enjoyment of this group of people.
I like the crew mentality despite the overuse of the word. These weren’t punk kids just causing problems. They were loyal and had each others backs no matter what. They weren’t bullies and trouble makers even though trouble always found them. The “good” kids were often times worse than the crew kids.
This author just has a way of telling a story that had me wanting more. I really hope this series stays on the same path.
When you become one of us, you have to agree to three oaths…
Bren has to be one of the most badass female lead characters ever written in this genre. She’s raw, unapologetic, fierce, smart and last but not least… crew.
This book was nothing short of amazing! The continuation of the lives of those in Roussou and the appearance of beloved characters Channing and Heather made my heart sing. It felt like I was getting a piece of Fallen Crest back, but in a whole new way!
This read had it all. Drama, witty banter, hot romance, violence, loyalty, family and teenage angst. All of the things we’ve come to love in Tijan’s books. I cannot wait to saw what she has up her sleeve for Crew book 2!
Another Tijan hit I don’t know how she does it but she keeps on giving us these amazing stories and I really hate cliff hangers but for this author I make exceptions even as I closed the last page I was cursing her, I want to know what happens and as I am impatient this is going to be a killer of a wait. I have all of Falcon Cress books but haven’t read them all, so maybe I need to do this as some of this book for me was confusing, We have Bren a very troubled but kick a** female who takes no prisoners but at the same time is crying out for help or at least that’s the way I see it, I can’t believe some of the story “SPOILER ALERT ” I know you stretch the truth a bit in books but is it really like that in schools across the pond, you can knife a teacher and just get community hours, The book is like a 3 dimensional puzzle you think you have the gist of what’s going down but you have no idea, there are so many dimensions to everyone involved that at times I really didn’t know what was going on. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and maybe I am too old to read her works but it won’t stop me from getting them, my daughter has just started her first a Fallen cress book and she loves it, Tijan weaves a story of intrigue and like a spiders web its sticky and keeps you turning the page, so well done on another blinding book and role on book 2 Crew (Crew Series, #1)
This was my first read from thus author and I really liked it. I am usually a shorter story reader as I don’t have a lot of reading time, but with this book, I found myself sneaking pages anytime I could. The characters were amazing and well developed and the plot was interesting and addictive. I liked the flow and structure of the story and cannot wait for book two. While the book is complete, there is an open ending for the future books.
At 500 pages plus, I do think it was a bit long. Everything could have been accomplished in 3/4 of that. I also got frustrated with the slow burn, it took until 85% into the book for the main characters to get together, too long for my preference. There was also a bit too much internal dialogue that was repeated, but super annoying, just worth mentioning.

With every book that Tijan writes, her writing gets better and better. Her newest release, Crew, has topped the charts. There is just so much, I don’t know where to begin. From cover to cover you are on the edge of your seat sucked into the world of the crew. The angst that I felt reading this was real. I wanted to jump in and be apart of the crew.
Oh, and the surprises that are revealed at the beginning, Well played Tijan, well played!!!! I am beyond happy that you published this book (as stated in your acknowledgements…yes I read them), it is amazing.
Being a “young adult” is not always the easiest, and Tijan you have nailed this story on the head. The writing is so well done that I just felt all the feels, the connection between the characters just jumps off the pages.
As far as the storyline…brilliant. The way everything just clicks/fits together and runs smooth, had me pulling an all-nighter and wanting to read more. Then to discover that there will be more next year!! Sign me up!!!!
Bren is not your ordinary teenager. She has had beyond her share of bad luck. So being part of the “crew” is her life, has become her family and then some. What I loved about Bren was that she isn’t your typical Heroine. She is strong, loves fiercely, and stands by her word even though she has her secrets. But as a new school year begins, things happen, people come and go, attitudes change, feeling change, life alters. Its how you handle them that can break you or make you stronger. And Bren is just one tough cookie that you want to scoop up.
As for all the other characters that we get to meet. WOW, what a cast! The perfect fit. All with their own situations that slowly are revealed throughout the book. But yet their connection is so strong that you just feel it.
Not going to say anymore because I don’t want to give any of the storyline away with a spoiler.
There are few situations that may make some uncomfortable, but also pull the story together.

Another dark, emotional, and intense read from Tijan.
I got completely lost in the pages of this book. And I had a delicious book hangover when I was done reading it. There’s a bond between the crew. They’re more than friends—they’re family. Bren and Cross are best friends, thicker than thieves with a bond that’s impenetrable. Then the friendly feelings start to turn to something more…
Loyalty is of the utmost importance between crew members. There’s very much a “you go, I go” attitude when it comes to this group of people. They stick up for one another, they support one another, and they’ll do anything for one another. When someone does something to harm one of them, they get the wrath of the whole crew in return.
There’s also rules and, so I don’t spoil this, I’ll just say that the rules are made to be broken. And oh boy, will they be broken.
Bren is a pretty fierce female character, but she’s also broken and damaged. She can take care of herself, but having a caring person there for her is something that benefits her. She has her moments, but she’s a teenage girl, and that’s only to be expected.
I love YA books and Tijan does them so good. The high school atmosphere, the feelings that run rampant alongside all the changes teens are going through … it’s all captured perfectly in Crew.
This book is dark at times (as I mentioned above). It moves at a good pace, there’s all the character development and depth that I’ve come to know and love with Tijan, and the plot is a good one. I’m excited to move further into this series, because Tijan always leaves me longing for more of her words.
Five stars to this book!
This book has some sexcapades, so parental guidance is recommended.
Crew is told in the first point of view from the crew’s only female member, Bren. Bren is 17 but seems much older because she has had so much loss, her young life has not been easy with losing her mom, dad, and half brother. Bren was left with her older brother Channing, who was not around alot, he has to deal the loss too, plus work to pay rent and take care of them both. Channing has one of the leading crews of their town. Bren is in her own crew, along with her best friend Cross, Jordan, and Zellman. Bren wants to be seen as a badass, and she is, but she also has vulnerabilities.
This seems to be about a group of young adults trying to find their place in a town that isn’t always friendly. Bren and her crew have each other’s backs no matter the situation or circumstances. This crew, the wolf pack learn many things through this story, they gain some some friends, some family, Bren may even have learned to love.
There is a cliffhanger here, so be prepared.
Roussou is divided by the unseen line. Which side do you stand are you a crew or a normal?
Would you rather be on the inside looking out, or the outside looking in?
The crew known as “The wolves” are ruled by three oaths, which they swear to abide by at all times.
1. Treat each other as family
2. Fight for them as you would have them fight for you
3. Forgive as if you are one person
Four people stand as one, move as one and are one. Bren, Cross, Jordan and Zellman.
The stranger, the unknown entity, the uncertainty. Does he stand with them or against them? Questions need answers and riddles need solving.
This book completely blew my mind! A fantastically unique storyline that keeps you on the edge of your seat all the way through to the final paragraph.
Twists and turns galore, trouble and strife, darkness and light. Each fought for my attention, to steal my heart, and fill my mind with a thousand thoughts.
For me Bren stole the show. I loved the boys but to have such a fiercely strong warrior goddess my heart soared and I silently thanked Tijan for giving us such a character.
Cross was equally delightful and delicious. His dedication and devotion aparent in every thought and action. Easy to lose myself to his blindingly dazzling persona.
Jordan and Zellman so different but the same, totty chasers one moment, hell raisers the next.
Family isn’t always blood and this book highlights this. Bonds can be forged and made stronger with minds alike and actions shared.
I pray that time isn’t cruel and that it doesn’t stand still making the next book in this series seem a lifetime away because now I’ve had a taste I need more!!
TIJAN is an author I’ll will always drop everything and anything for a chance to read her latest book. And CREW was one hell of a raw and gritty rollercoaster ride.
I didn’t know what CREW really was about, I just new it was written by TIJAN and that was enough for me. I love her writing style and have been a fan of her work for years now. Going through all of her books, I would say CREW is one of her grittier and darker YA novels.
The emotional tension was high throughout the entire book. It was skirting the edges of OMG a couple times and it certainly left me wanting to know more. The entire premise was an utter surprise for me. Not only the location but also the characters took me completely by surprise. There was no way I could have seen any of the developments or revelations coming – call me INTRIGUED.
Here are the things I can tell you about this book without going into too much details:
It’s a friends to lovers romance.
It’s emotionally charged and delivers everything a fan of TIJAN would expect.
It’s slow burn.
It has an AMAZING male character. He reminded me so much of Mason. His steadfast personality, quiet but intense demeanor, and his utter and absolute devotion towards the heroine was something I fell in love with him immediately. DREAMY!!!
The heroine was KICKASS!!! This girl was one of the coolest chicks TIJAN has written so far. She stood her ground, was ballsy and bold, and had so many layers that it will take more than one book to completely discover them all. I couldn’t believe some of the things she did but it fit her to a T. WOWZER!!!
CREW really got me going around the halfway point. At that point I was grinning and sighing non-stop. The camaraderie and friendships in this novel were wonderful – again it reminded me of my favorite trio. There was so much heart and loyalty in this book – it’s something the author does very well.
In the end CREW definitely left me wanting for more. It was reminiscent of her older works in regards to pace, formatting and plot construction. I want more of CREW, more of the supporting characters, but most of all more of the kickass heroine and the hero. This book has so much promise – being EPIC is just around the corner.

“This was my crew. My guys. Mine.”
What a refreshing story!! Unique, original, and a ton of fun to read!! It was darkly addictive, pulled at your heartstrings, made your heart race, and left you spinning and eager for more!! I felt as if I was right there in the thick of it, enjoying every second. I absolutely loved Bren’s fire, vulnerability, and the way she held her own in a world not necessarily made for a girl to do so.
“His lips touched mine, and everything in the world softened. It was different-not the kiss, but the feeling. This was FINALLY.”
Cross is everything you want in a male lead. Quietly alpha, strength, devotion…the slow burn between them almost killed me at times!! I couldn’t look away, especially when the Author sent you on different directions leading you to believe something else was going to happen. They were forbidden, yet exactly what I wanted them to be, they were best friends for life that was just so much more!! The secondary characters were endearing, frustrating, vividly described, I was just sucked in the entire time I was reading! I will absolutely devour the rest of this series, especially of how this one ended!!
“I wanted to let go of the armor I had to wear all the time. I could with him, and I was at the moment. I was merely a girl being held in the arms of the boy she was already in love with.”

Tijan is my top go-to for all things high school drama. For some reason, I just can’t get enough of it. I don’t know why because I’m 43 and can’t relate to a bunch of drama llama 17 year olds. But whatever, I like to read the crap outta it and pass me that popcorn. I just love it. This started off kinda slow for me. I was afraid I wasn’t going to get into it but I’m so glad I finished it. It’s never ending drama times ten! Holy cannoli I’m really looking forward to the next book. I feel like things are just starting to heat up!
Since I had lived Fallen Crest, it was good to see some familiar faces in this book. I really enjoyed the way Bren and the Crew handled their business. They weren’t as skeezy as Alex was. The dynamics of it all made for a book that was easy to get lost in and enjoy being in their world for a while. The ending kept me guessing what would come next for the Crew!
Loved this story, can’t wait for book two!
rew is centered around 4 people and they aren’t a gang but they have each other’s back at all times. In this book we are introduced to Bren and she is a very complex person. There are many layers to Bren, cold, closed off, bad ass, volatile but there is a vulnerable, sad and scared side to her as well.
Throughout the story we get glimpses and pieces as to why Bren is the way she is and it really breaks your heart. Bren was a very interesting character to read about and some of the stuff she did in the book had me stunned. She was a legit badass at times and I loved it! Bren also did some growing in this book and that warmed my heart as well.
Cross is also apart of the crew and I liked his character a lot. He was very protective of Bren. He was silent but lethal and always had Bren’s back and was there for her and could reach her in ways no body else could at times.
This book was addictive from start to finish. I’ve read a few books by Tijan and this one is a little darker than her others but it was good. It’s a best friends to lover romance and those are some of my favorite reads. It was a delicious slow burn between the two characters and I loved seeing their relationship played out. I’m really excited to see where this series is headed. The story has a refreshing plot, the secondary characters are awesome and compliment the main characters. This book was well written and I can’t wait for the next story!
Oh Tijan you freaking beauty, Crew was everything I hoped it would be and then some. Damn!
This book, wow…this book was incredible. To say I wasn’t expecting the way things rolled out on this book would be a damn understatement.
Bren, Cross, Jordon and Zellman have consumed my every moment since I started reading this beauty. Their relationship is outstanding, they may butt heads every now and again but they’re family, they’re crew and that kind of family is for life. They’re loyalty and respect is one of the things I loved most about this, they all had each other’s backs even when it didn’t go well with the others plans.
Bren and Cross’ relationship is what I loved the most they’re not just family but they’re best friends. He’s the only one she lets fully in and she’s the only one he lets in completely. They had mad love for each other and their friends and it’s clear to see. It’s beautiful and warms your heart.
The storyline was amazing, I literally was thinking of things that could happen but none of it did. Tijan managed to surprise me with this one and I’m damn glad she did. I love when a story completely stuns you, I love when twists happen that you don’t see coming, I love when the plot changes into something you never thought would happen and that is exactly what happens in crew. It’s unexpected and amazing and gahhh.
I haven’t been able to put my kindle down since I started reading this morning. I couldn’t get enough of these characters, these words and as I neared the end dread filled me because I didn’t want this to be over. Then that plot twist at the end came and now I’m so desperate for book 2, I can’t wait for that beauty to come.
I’ve only read a couple books from Tijan but each one seems to get better and better. Crew for me, is my favourite book from her so far. I can’t wait to see what the other books bring.
