Hard to get into/ never finished
Like this world and the characters working through the issues. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
I enjoyed the book overall but there was too much emphasis on romance and not enough on action. The main character was not allowed to develop as far as she should have in the first book. However I expect this series to heat up in the second book and will probably read it.
Predictable but entertaining
I am still making my way through this book as I get disgusted with the female main character and her stupid reactions to situations and have to put book away for a while before attempting to continue. I like the
“ situation “ though
Fun characters, interested in reading the next!
Not the best new UF book out there but a decent quick read with a slightly different take on the usual witch/mage trope.
Very original with lots of life unfolding as you go. I highly recommend!
There were enough twists to make this book enjoyable. The main character, Skye, was mostly likeable and had enough personality warts to make her interesting.
A fun story! I look forward to reading more from this author.
It was ok and a quick read. I did enjoy a look at a mythical world set in Ireland, but the book overall was rather formulaic and predictable. I have no desire to go and read anymore of the series.
I like it enough I would like to continue to read the rest of the series.
Very good read but it was too short. I really enjoyed it.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and had a hard time putting it down. The characters came alive, it was action packed and I never knew what was coming next.
I read the complete book in two days. I hated having to do anything else.
Loved it. Want more!!!
