Nothing is as it seems.May has finally learned the truth of her existence and it’s not what she expected. As a creation of science, her life isn’t her own, her body a mere vessel for the future. Being mated to five of the world’s strongest Alpha’s solidifies her purpose; to produce alphas and omegas to repopulate society. With the next generation currently in her womb, she remains safely tucked … safely tucked away in her den, learning of the world. She’s forced to undergo invasive tests that monitor the wellbeing of her young, or so the doctors claim. Her mates prepare her for life up top. But the more she learns of the world outside her den, the more uncertain she grows about leaving the confines of her underground sanctuary.
May begins to question whether she and her young will survive the omega starved beasts on the surface or if they’ll fall prey to the crazed masses.
But the bigger question becomes, is she willing to risk it all just to see the sun for the first time?
*Warning: this omegaverse is intended for readers over 18 for violence and steamy scenes! This is a reverse harem series where the main character ends up with more than one mate at the end of the series.

I liked May and her men and the world they live in as it was very interesting to read. Well written and engaging story that any fan of omegaverse might enjoy.
I’ve read a lot of omegaverse books but this one is a new take on the genre. It’s a dark tale of a post apocalyptic world where omegas are created in labs from dead and dying women. It is disturbing in places, but quite enthralling despite that, with a genuine emotional bond forming between May and her mates. This is the second book in the series, with a (thankfully!) happy ending.

The second installment of this series is as good as the first one, maybe even better! We get the chance to see how the relationship between the heroin and her mates evolves and how they all react when they find out the true intentions of the scientific team that created May. Ready to protect their pups, all six of them are ready to spill blood… I really liked this book, although once again proper editing was lacking.

Part two is just as brilliant if not better than part one. It’s once again a short read and one that I read immediately after finishing book one. This is a fantastic conclusion to the duet and a must read. Wonderful dark take on the omegaverse that you do not want to miss.

May and her five alphas live in their new space. She is slowly learning new things as she adapts to being pregnant and carrying the other fetus around in a tube. But things aren’t as good as the scientists make it out to be. Soon her safe haven becomes a hell and steps must be made to fix things. But this was only the beginning would they ever truly be safe? Interesting story

She learns also about the council that is studying her and things suddenly becomes more darker. Will she see the light? The good character and plot development kept me totally hooked as I turned each and every page until the very end!
This is book 2 of the series. I enjoyed reading this series. I thought it was well written and developed. I would recommend reading.

Was not expecting how this story would have turned out. May learns how to adjust to life outside of her den and what she has known. She learns the mystery of her life, how she came to be and why she knows of things even if though she had no memories of learning them. All her alphas, Clay, Zerk, Vale, Ryker and Lorcan works to make their relationship/family unit work. They are willing to do what they must to keep May and their whelps safe, even if that means from the same organization they are a part of.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Although, my one grip is that other than the two words she spoke, May doesn’t say anything at all, LOL. She relies on her instincts and is able to get her feelings and thoughts across to her alphas. Lorcan was a nice surprised, especially in why he was the way he was. He did his part to get back into her good grace. I also loved that the alphas followed their instincts and went against what was originally planned. Their need to care for her and their young trumped the bigger world issue. A very good series and well worth the read.
I really liked the ending, the very happy ending. This is a fast paced read that is a fantastic continuation of this dark omegaverse romance. Filled with drama, suspense, surprising twists and turns, action and very hot chemistry. There is really good emotion.

This is an intriguing post-apocalyptic omegaverse romance with some dark undertones & an enjoyable read. The plot is intriguing with some suspenseful situations with good scene descriptions & world building. The characters are fairly well-developed & at times inclined to be confrontational and/or protective.
There is: omegas, alpha, betas, mates, drama, intrigue, twists & turns, action, danger, attacks, threats, devious plans, discoveries, unethical experiments, atrocities, confrontation, death, destruction, decisions, steam scenes contentment & a well-deserved satisfying conclusion.
This is the second book in the series and I do recommend reading them in order. May is learning more about how she was created and now that she is pregnant, she is forced to further tests and being monitored by doctors. Her mates are preparing her for life up tom but the more she learns the more she would rather stay below. Fast-paced read with plenty of drama and steam. I liked it.
Interesting book. Action packed plot which was full of twists throughout. Lots of sizzling chemistry between the characters. Characters relationship was unique And non-ordinary which made for an exciting story.

This was a good continuation of the story in the first book. I like dark books but still want a HEA at the end, and we got that with this one, though I almost liked not knowing what was going to happen better.
The 2nd book in this duet was better than the first one i think. What i didnt like about book 1 namely no connection with the characters is the complete opposite in this book. The relationship between May (FMC) and her mates – Ryker, Lorcan, Zerk, Clay and Vale is the main focus here. Which i think makes much more of a difference to making them more rounded characters in general. Glad May and her mates got the ending is hoped for because all in all this series wasnt a bad read
Awesome Ending!
“Creature of the Light” picks up where “Creature of the Dark” ended. May and her Alphas find out the truth about “O” Productions and their plans for her pups. This tale has drama, action, danger, betrayal, twists, revelations and steamy hot chemistry, and a surprising conclusion. Reading “Creature of the Dark” first will give you the history of the players and what happened to the world.

May was created to be bred by the alphas. The alphas were part of the experiment to repopulate the world with omegas and alphas. They all learned that many babies were being killed because they were either betas or infertile omegas. They were afraid that there children would be used for breeding until they were dead. They killed most of the experiment workers, then escaped to live a life of freedom for the children.

This second book seemed interesting but in execution, the plot felt a little rushed and I wanted May to be more than her submission. I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.
