There’s a special place in hell for a man like me—a man who shamelessly sleeps with his best friend’s little sister, knowing he’ll never be what she needs. A man who takes because the only thing he has to offer in return is a broken past that’s destined to destroy his future.I was the kid who grew up on the wrong side of the tracks with shit parents and clothes that had been handed down one too … down one too many times. I stole to feed my sister, fought to protect her, and I’ll always be the guy your parents don’t want you to bring home.
So yeah, that’s me. Lincoln Bennett. Adley Allen’s walk on the wild side. Her dirty little secret. And I’m okay with that—ninety-nine percent of the time. Unfortunately today is in that one percent when it doesn’t sit well with me. For some strange reason, I want to be around to celebrate all of Adley’s successes. I want to be here when she gets her first job and take her out to dinner after her first shift. I want to be the one she depends on, the person she calls when she has a bad day. Or a great day. Or any kind of day.
I want more than her body. I want her heart. But men like me don’t get women like her.
At least not to keep.

5 Stars!!!
Not what I was expecting… it was so much more!! Lincoln is so alpha and you will be totally drawn to him.
I love how the story was dual POV, and let me just say, I think this was some of the best dual POV I have ever read!! K.L.’s writing is fantastic and it lead me through every detail. Not once did I feel like something was missing. She hit the nail on the head with the POV between Adley and Lincoln.
Throughout the story, we really get a look at Lincoln’s family history and why he is the way he is. I simply fell in love with him.
This can be read as a stand alone, but I would recommend reading in order as Dirty Dicks #3. We don’t get a lot of Adley’s background throughout the novel, just a little bit. But, I feel we know a lot about her and her family from the previous two books that focus on 2 of her brothers.
I finished this book with a smile on my face and it instantly jumped into one of the top 5 books I have read!
Crazy Stupid Love by Author KL Grayson will have you fall madly in love with Lincoln and Adley. Two people that belong together, but both think the other is forbidden fruit…until one night.
This book will have you smile, laugh, swoon and gasp. Lincoln has had a hard life without a lot of love at home. He also basically raised his sister. He thinks that he isn’t good enough for his best friend’s sister Adley. She secretly has a crush on him that is more of a true love than crush material. Once they get involved with each other they keep their time together a secret, until they can’t .
Their chemistry is off of the charts and they are sweet together too. Adley helps him heal and realize that he is capable of live and worthy of it.
I can’t wait for the next book in the series! Swoon
Perfectly angsty and swoon-worthy! Crazy Stupid Love is KL Grayson at her best. I thought I was in love when I read Crazy Hot Love, but THIS book, the best friend’s little sister trope? I was a FREAKING GONER! Lincoln and Adley are crazy stupid. Crazy stupid for thinking a fling wouldn’t be a messy entanglement. Crazy stupid for every moment of denial they tried to believe in. And crazy stupid IN LOVE. These two are just sublimely sweet with off-the-charts chemistry. I mean seriously? If there’s a real-life Lincoln out there somewhere, I call dibs SO. FREAKING. HARD.
But while these two are wildly perfect for each other, Lincoln’s past of a more than screwed up family dictates a lot of his actions in his relationships, and especially with sweet Adley. He can’t risk ruining her for myriad of reasons, the first and foremost being she’s the only woman who’s made him want more. And while Adley works her spitfire damnedness to make this work, there’s one hurdle even she can’t get them both over. It’s up to Lincoln to finally put his demons to rest, or risk losing her and so much more.
I can’t say how much I enjoyed this book. It was amazing and I gobbled up every word of it. Lincoln and Adley’s story far exceeded my expectations and as much of a suck as I am for the best friend’s little sister trope, this book was no cookie cutter. It was unique from the very beginning, and I was blissfully sucked into the narrative. So, do I recommend this book? Heck yes, it’s a book that I might need in signed print if I can get my hands on it, it’s that special that it deserves a space on my bookshelf!
Happy Reading!

I love this series, that’s all there is to it. From book one, to now, I just keep loving them more. Adley and LIncoln’s story was no different. You kind of suspect that there is something going on between them at the end of Trevor and Claire’s story and it makes you wonder what’s going on between them. Let’s just say I was pleasantly surprised and I loved their story.
There’s something about dating your big brother’s best friend that just seems forbidden. But, it works for Adley and Lincoln, even if Lincoln takes a little longer to get on board with the whole “dating” thing. Everything about Adley and Lincoln had me smiling and loving their story. I couldn’t get over how perfect they seem to be for each other. They grew as individuals and learned to accept and move on from things in their past. Watching their love grow and the happiness that came from it was just what I needed when I read their story.
I can’t wait for more from this series and I hope we get more soon.
No one puts your heart through the ringer quite like K.L. Grayson. To flawless writing and an unforgettable romance, Crazy Stupid Love is sure to make your emotions run wild and have you rooting for a happily ever after…
Crazy Stupid Love follows the story of Lincoln and Adley. Lincoln is the guy that everyone warns you about. He’s broody. He’s sexy. He’s from the wrong side of the tracks and could break your hear with just one look. He’s got nothing to offer a woman, but when it comes to Adley, all bets are off… You see, Adley was supposed to be off limits. She was Lincoln’s best friends sister and despite how much Lincoln knew he should walk away, he couldn’t resist the pull. What was supposed to only be a night or two of passion, quickly turns into more. Lincoln may not know what to do with his feelings, but Adely makes him want more. She makes him want to take chances and celebrate all the good things in life. Their journey is crazy, hot and messy. Their story will give you hope and have you believing in happily ever afters.
Crazy Stupid Love is well written and completely captivating. The characters are real, flawed and perfectly imperfect. Lincoln is stubborn, protective and totally sexy. He’s got a big heart, but doesn’t let very many get in. His past skewed his outlook on love and it will take a strong person to break down his epic walls….Adley is smart, determined and loves with everything she has. She knows being with Lincoln is a huge risk and that her heart won’t come out of this unscathed. But, Lincoln is the kind of guy that just blows you away and knocks you off of your feet. He’s the kind of guy with forever potential if he would just open his eyes and take that leap…
Crazy Stupid Love is a wonderful read from beginning to end. This story will leave you unable to put it down and will have you tearing at the pages just to see how the story is going to end. It’s a story about love and friendship. A story of moving on and learning to forgive. It’s a story about taking chances and learning to make things right when you say all the wrong things. It’s a story that will have your emotions twisted up in the best possible way. It will tug at your heart. It will frustrate you. And in the end, it will leave you begging for more. I can’t get enough of this series and can not wait to see how this author will have me falling for next.
I did NOT want this book to end!!!! So much so that I dragged it out and am way late getting this review in. But dang it K.L. you write such AMAZING characters!!! You get a glimpse of something possibly going on with Adley Allen and Lincoln in Crazy Hot Love which completely piqued my curiosity. When we get into Crazy Stupid Love Adley and Linc have been carrying on an affair for about 5 months. I say affair because somewhere where it started they came up with it being short term and only as a hook up. Obviously that’s not how it all ended up, feelings get involved and they decide that they want more from each other. I loved their journey and how they both took care of each other. The characters in this series are just so well fleshed out and developed. Lincoln’s back story was heartbreaking and inspiring. How he chose to protect and overcome. I honestly could go on and on but I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone heading into reading this story. I can just say that this series is heading up to being a top favorite.
When you grow up in certain environments it’s can be easy to allow that environment to create a jaded view of one’s self worth. For Lincoln, those views were hard to overcome from time to time. It says a lot about a man’s character when he chooses to fight to be a better man than the role models he had. Enter Adley-Rhett’s little sister and recent college graduate. What started out as sweet and innocent soon turned into something hot enough to scorch the sheets. Not only that she helped Lincoln be able to fight his demons and realize he is a man worth having and it’s okay to forgive for the wrong people in our lives do.
It was so easy to feel every emotion along with Lincoln and Adley. I shared not only their laughter but the tears and frustration as well. I always love the journey KL takes me on with her characters and Crazy, Stupid Love was no different.
4.5 Stars
I love this series. It just gets better with each book. This one delivers on the feels. Adley and Lincoln are so cute together. Lincoln’s childhood just breaks my heart and for him to have Adley in his corner warms my heart. She brings light and happiness into his life. Only problem can Lincoln believe he is worth that kind of future. I just gobbled up this book and I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
I swear this series gets better with each book! I absolutely love Lincoln and Adley! This was such a sweet story with all the feels in it! I wasn’t sure about Lincoln in the beginning – I was sure he was going to make me fall in love with him just to hate him later, and I was so glad he didn’t do that to me or Adley! Adley was such a strong h, but I guess growing up with all those brothers really helped – I adore her! This story has all the things that make KL Grayson stories amazing! FIVE STARS!
Sleeping with best friend younger sister books are always so forbidden and juicy all wrapped in one and this one didn’t disappoint. As a matter of fact this one was a bit different because they had fallen for each other earlier and were having a very steamy secret affair.
Lincoln and Adley were perfect for each other in so many different ways. They came from different backgrounds which at one point seemed to almost mess up their relationship. Lincoln came from a very broken and abusive home while she came from a very loving family. Regardless these two were hot hot hot!!!!! Lincoln tried to hide his feelings for the off limits sister but it was inevitable. And Adley wasn’t letting the hot cowboy walk away. I did enjoy that their relationship was the best kept secret lol.
Their relationship showed growth and had Lincoln coming to terms about incidents of his childhood. His protectiveness of his sister Chloe is heartwarming and throw in the protectiveness towards Adley equals to swoony. Adley was young but very mature for her age. I loved her. She was very strong.
Now the last couple chapters especially the very last one had me laughing. It showed or gave an idea to who’s story is next. The Allen’s and the secondary characters are a great bunch.
I loved the forbidden aspect to this story. For some reason best friends little sister books always hit the spot when I’m looking for something that is forbidden and watching them fight the attraction and deal with what happens with those around them finding out. Lincoln and Adley really were amazing together. Add in twists and some turns I couldn’t put it down once I got past the first few chapters. Add in seeing the characters from the first 2 books in the series the author really rounded the book out. I giggled, I swooned and my jaw dropped a few times. 4 stars #2OCCJD
I love love LOVED this book! This book is definitely my favourite of the 3 so far in this series. Ms Grayson certainly pulled me right into this novel with her captivating writing. I didn’t want to put it down at all. I was too invested In Lincoln and Adley’s story. This book is so much more than a love story. It’s also about forgiveness. Forgiving someone even though it terrifies you. Even if they probably don’t deserve it.
Adley’s just finished college to become a nurse. Adley is strong, she is beautiful and she is also lusting after her brother’s best friend. Could something that started out a fling become something more?
Lincoln, oh Lincoln. He is just amazing! This man has the most upsetting past but that hasn’t made him into a nasty man. No, this man would give you the shirt off his own back if it made you happy. This guy is seriously swoon worthy! The way he cares for his sister and Adley is just remarkable. I love his character so much.
This story is such a heartfelt love story. It’s fast paced and will pull you in right from the start. I really couldn’t put it down, I was sad when it came to an end but I am so so happy I get to have more from this series, hopefully soon! I need more! I hope you all love Lincoln and Adley’s story as much as I did.
I am really enjoying this series!
Lincoln has been through so much, his childhood was a nightmare and now that his days of rodeo are ending the only thing he cares about is making ends meet to take care of his drunk of a dad, supporting his little sister and maybe a little friends with benefits with his best friends little sister.
Adley is the only girl in the Allen family, she grew up with lots of love and support from her family. She’s trying to finish up her testing to become a nurse and traveling to Houston for clinicals. Luckily she has a hot cowboy to stay with when she’s in town and the benefits of staying with Lincoln are amazing.
Lincoln and Adley’s story is sexy, emotional and ends in happiness that they both deserve. Looking forward to more books in this series!
After reading Crazy, Hot Love I was in love with the idea of Adley and Lincoln. Getting to read their story was so much better than I could have hoped. They were phenomenal together, and their story was overflowing with the kind of healing, effortless love I most appreciate.
I always feel like there is something special about books that begin with the couple already together. While the angst of will they/won’t they has its place, navigating the pitfalls of a relationship always pulls on my heartstrings. Adley and Lincoln had their share of things to overcome, many of those issues constructed in their own heads, and taking the journey with them to conquer them was a beautiful ride.
Adley and Lincoln had both been on the periphery of the first two books in this series, and while I loved the idea of them together – who doesn’t love a brother’s best friend story – I didn’t have a great read on who they were. After getting to know them in Crazy, Stupid Love, I honestly couldn’t think of two people who were better suited for one another. Adley needed someone who would love and protect her without smothering her and Lincoln needed someone strong enough to show him what love truly was when he’d never experienced healthy love. Together they were able to help one another overcome their fears and struggles exquisitely.
As much as I loved Adley and Lincoln’s journey together, Lincoln’s secondary storyline with his dad – and sister, to some extent – pushed this novel from the land of good love story into the realm of a great story of healing. Seeing the three of them start taking steps to put their past behind them made Crazy, Stupid love something incredibly special.
Crazy, Stupid Love is the third book in KL Grayson’s Dirty Dicks series. These books are interconnected standalones, and the series doesn’t need to be read in its entirety to enjoy each story. This book, in particular, has few ties to the two previous novels beyond mentions of the other couples. Crazy, Stupid Love is written in dual first-person perspective, narrated by Adley and Lincoln.
KL Grayson continues to impress me with her writing. She continually chooses sensitive topics to write about and does it in a way that feels respectful and real, without feeling exploitative of people who have dealt with the situations in real life. Her writing effortlessly flows from deep and meaningful to light and comedic. Having read all her published works, I can tell you Ms. Grayson continues to grow and learn her art, and I am in love with her work.
Another awesome book from KL Grayson!! I love how this book takes us on an emotional rollercoaster ride from start to finish. Can’t wait for the next book in the series!
Holy Cow! What can I say about this book?
Crazy Stupid Love is one of the best, Friends to Lover’s, Second Chance , books I’ve read.
KL Grayson is a master at weaving stories full of feels with characters that steal your heart and make you swear you’re feeling what they are.
Lincoln and Adley are so good together. From the start their feelings for each other is obvious and I love the way they work to be together.
This book has it all. There’s love and steamy sexy times, humor and heartbreak, surprises and there’s also healing.
This book also touches on a difficult subject, but this author handles it with delicacy and grace.
This series continues to only get better. And I hope this author keeps giving us more from Heaven
I have to say that this is my favourite!! Each book has taken a little of my heart but this took more.
I was drawn in from the first page as Lincoln and Adley meet and a connection is made. A connection that neither are ready to label yet, or give up. Lincoln has is battling an internal struggle, where he feels he isn’t good enough or that he deserves somebody like Adley. Adley is struggling to hope for more, afraid she will scare Lincoln away. But the heart wants what the heart wants. Will they get their HEA? You will have to read it to find out! What I will say is that KL Grayson delivers once again with ALL the feels!!!
Another amazing book in this series! I am in love with Lincoln and Adley! They compliment and balance each other so well! Vulnerable Lincoln gave me all the feels! This book was sweet, funny, sexy and perfect! This is a definite must read!!
I absolutely loved Linc and Adley’s story!! So far, they are tied with Rhett and Mo for first place in my book! KL Grayson’s signature writing style pulled me into their story so completely and the plot held my attention firmly the whole way through. Linc and Adley make such a great couple, they complement each other and prove that they can make it work, even in the worst of times. No OTT drama, just a steady burn as they start out as casual but we all know how that typically works out…at least in the fictional world anyways.
This book can be read as a standalone if you really wanted to but it will spoil the first 2 books a bit if you don’t read those first. Crazy Stupid Love also has a fair amount of Rhett, Mo, Claire, Trevor and even gives us hints as to who might be next in the series. I’m really looking forward to more because, not only Grayson write great love stories and characters, I have a feeling we’re still going to get a good bit more of the characters in the first 3 books!!
If Crazy, Stupid Love was given the name of an ice cream, it would be Rocky Road! With Lincoln’s childhood, Adley’s brothers and family name and then the secrecy of their relationship, a lot of crazy and stupid happens, but I LOVED their story! When I think back to their story, the word “full” describes their lives. So much going on and keeping them busy, but still finding time for them! What a great addition to the “Dirty Dicks” series! Love seeing past characters and catching up with the family and friends!
