There’s a special place in hell for a man like me—a man who shamelessly sleeps with his best friend’s little sister, knowing he’ll never be what she needs. A man who takes because the only thing he has to offer in return is a broken past that’s destined to destroy his future.I was the kid who grew up on the wrong side of the tracks with shit parents and clothes that had been handed down one too … down one too many times. I stole to feed my sister, fought to protect her, and I’ll always be the guy your parents don’t want you to bring home.
So yeah, that’s me. Lincoln Bennett. Adley Allen’s walk on the wild side. Her dirty little secret. And I’m okay with that—ninety-nine percent of the time. Unfortunately today is in that one percent when it doesn’t sit well with me. For some strange reason, I want to be around to celebrate all of Adley’s successes. I want to be here when she gets her first job and take her out to dinner after her first shift. I want to be the one she depends on, the person she calls when she has a bad day. Or a great day. Or any kind of day.
I want more than her body. I want her heart. But men like me don’t get women like her.
At least not to keep.

Crazy Stupid Love is the sweet and sexy story of Adley and Lincoln. It is a standalone, although there is some history mentioned from prior books, new readers could follow along just fine.
Adley is an innocent soul, but in no way naive. She meets Lincoln through her older brother and while there is an attraction, the two stay away from each other for a while. At first.
Lincoln. Oh, Lincoln. He’s a damaged soul that is so easy to fall in love with. The fact he doesn’t see that, makes him that much more lovable. He’s determined, hard working, and cares deeply. Adley was able to fit into his life so easily, he barely noticed.
Overall, Crazy Stupid Love was a great novel that was so fun to get lost in. I opened it up and didn’t come up for air, I was so enthralled. It’s low on drama and high on love. It was well developed and paced quickly. I would recommend this to any reader looking for a sexy older brother’s best friend romance.
*4.5 Star Review*
The author, the cover, the writing!!!! Oh my gosh I loved this book! Lincoln is a broken, sweet, gorgeous hottie! I LOVE brothers best friends sisters books, I’m a sucker for them! KL Grayson has written another winner for sure! I was seriously anticipating this after her last book!
Linc and Adley together…they’re amazing!
Poor Lincoln, my heart was beating for him through this entire book. I just read and read, I wanted him and Adley to work out…the troubled friend and the perfect girl, daughter, love interest!
I devour everything this author writes…Crazy, Stupid Love even more so! Love this series!!! Highly recommend this book, series and author! Wish I could give it more than five stars!
Another great addition to this series. Lincoln is sexy and sweet but is broken from his past. Adley is strong and sassy. A great story about learning to love and forgiving yet not forgetting the past. Can’t wait for the next book in this series.
I absolutely loved Adley and Lincoln! The entire story had me completely endeared to them!
Another great book in an awesome series. I love K.L. Grayson’s books. Adley and Lincoln are a dynamic couple, and their chemistry is amazing. Lincoln comes from a not so great upbringing, and Adley’s family is full of love. Lincoln came out a better person, because of, and in spite of everything he experienced in his past. Together they make it work, and I’m so glad they did. Crazy Stupid Love is a must read!
Another amazing addition to this series! These two were so fun to watch growing in love with each other. Even with some major mishaps these two are able to find their perfect ending. And the end of this book! I can only hope it is a prelude to what is happening next!
Narration in this book was perfect. These two work amazingly together.
Adley is the youngest of the Allens (and only girl among them), and Linc(oln) is her older brother Rhett’s best friend. They end up falling into a no-strings type of relationship but end up developing feelings (that’ve probably been there for the years that they’ve watched each other grow up).
Linc varies from sweet and thoughtful to shutting Adley out of his life to being kind of possessive. I did feel badly for him, given what happened in his childhood, but he was a little to alpha at some times for me (For the majority of readers, I’m sure he’ll be just right. I’m the Goldilocks here). I enjoyed learning his back story and watching him develop as elements in his life changed.
And I liked Adley as a character. She’s smart, honest, and thoughtful. She obviously makes a few mistakes of her own, but it’s pretty clear that one is miserable without the other, and they just seem meant to be, for lack of better phrasing.
Though I enjoyed the read, I will admit that I wasn’t overly surprised by any of the twists that the book served. I think this story would be best enjoyed at a beach/pool with a fun drink (maybe with an umbrella, if you’re feeling fancy!). It definitely had the feel of a summer read, despite dealing with darker elements including child abuse and addiction.
3.5 stars
I am really enjoying this series! I absolutely loved Trevor! And I love a romance between an older woman and younger man (although the age difference wasn’t significant- 4 years- it’s still nice to read about). I understood Claire’s insecurities, espeically with dating a firefighter. I loved the conflict about their pasts, and how Trevor and Claire dealt with their guilt toward each other.
I very much loved this book- and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the books in the Dirty Dicks series!
Short review. While I found the chemistry between Adley and Lincoln to be good, I really wish we could have gotten more insight in the 5 months that they were sneaking around. I felt like there was so much of the story that wasn’t told, despite that I did enjoy the book.
4 1/2 out of 5 stars
I think that Lincoln and Adley are the best couple from the Dirty Dicks novels yet. I had my suspicions at the end of Trevor and Claire’s book, but was so excited to actually get to read this story! My heart broke early on for poor Lincoln. If these thoughts of his don’t break a little piece of your heart, I’m not sure you have one:
In my world, people cheat, steal, hit, and life. And the promise of love is nothing more than an empty declaration designed to bring down a person’s walls.
BUT I loved that he was still willing to try with Adley…not that he didn’t screw up a few times – but she did, too. Their relationship was hot, sexy and full of heart. They both hurt and both loved hard! It was a fantabulous love story!!! And the best part is we got to see some of our old favorite characters and meet a few new ones like Abby, Adley’s friend from nursing school. They had the best text convo in recent book history:
(Adley) But what if I want…more?
(Abby) More what? More sex? More dates? More than his body?
(Adley) All of the above?
(Abby) I don’t think it’s possible for you two to have more sex without your vagine somehow falling off.
This series keeps getting better and I can’t wait for the next book which I hope will include Mo & Rhett’s wedding and the next Allen sibling falling in love!
*** I voluntarily read a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review ***
Those Allen siblings….each book keeps getting better! In all honesty I wasn’t sure about this book when I first read the premise. The little insight we got into Lincoln in the first two books wasn’t very impressive to me. I was worried he was some immature guy who only thought with one head, and not the one attached to his neck. But from the beginning of Crazy Stupid Love we to see inside Lincoln’s head and understand him a bit. We learn about his tough childhood and how he got himself and his little sister through it. We also learn about Adley more and I liked her a lot! Adley and Lincoln are the perfect couple…if only they can see that for themselves….! Don’t miss out on another great book from KL Grayson, with excellent writing where you will feel so connected with the characters and have a serious book hangover when you’re done. But it’s so worth it!
