My mother used to have a saying for everything.“You can’t be pretty and lucky.”She wasn’t pretty or lucky.“You have to kiss a lot of toads before you find your Prince Charming.”I kissed too many of those. Sorry, but Prince Charming isn’t in Hicktown, Kentucky.“The good ones go to Heaven; the bad ones go to Hell.”Guess I’m going to Hell.“Hell is paved with good intentions.”Surprisingly, that one … going to Hell.
“Hell is paved with good intentions.”
Surprisingly, that one is true. Why? Because …
I intended to stay away from Calder Riggs.
I intended not to fall in love with him.
I intended to find a man who wasn’t a loser or a joker.
Oh well, I’ve never been afraid of Hell, anyway.
That’s why I’m Crazy Bitch!

If I had to summarize Crazy B!tch with three adjectives, I would define the work as follows: Humorous, bold in the right measure and exciting.
Humorous because despite talking about traumas, addictions, violence and family problems, the narrative is light and gives good laughs to the reader.
Bold in the right measure, because the sensuality in the narrative happens in an engaging way and without exaggeration.
Exciting by the way we gradually know the characters’s feelings through the memories of facts from their past. We relived with them a little of what they felt.
Soon in the first chapters the attraction between Crazy B!tch and his biker is clear. Although, on account of a past situation, she has repeatedly stated that she is tired of bikers, there is a good dynamic between them. She can say no to the boy’s charms as she teases him. The author approaches them through an unexpected situation, which could be summarized as follows: Separated by pride, brought together by a bet. In the development of the plot we see the unfolding of their personalities, far beyond the socially projected image. We enter the past and the emotions of the characters and we discover their essences.
Calder, typically stereotyped as “Bad Boy”, is a multi-layered character with great baggage, traumas and suffering. Although sexy, fun and young, he has trouble forgiving himself and blames himself for several misfortunes that occur in his family. He is gradually ceasing to be a victim of himself and treading his path of redemption to happiness. Some events near the end of the plot can disrupt your journey while bringing him closer to family and friends. A secret about Calder’s family, which is gradually unfolding since the beginning of the plot, culminates in a final scene that can rip some tears from the reader.
Crazy B!tch begins by trying not to repeat the mistakes she thinks she has made in the past. At the end of the book we will see that it also tracks a road to redemption. Her past contains many traumas and secrets that are being revealed throughout the book. Despite all the outside “Bad Ass Bitch” she is marked by familiar situations that make her afraid to grant second chances, against the possibility of being hurt again. His trajectory with Calder leads us to reflect how much a person can lose by not being able to forgive or by the fear of being hurt again.
The background characters, who have been or will be the main focus of other books, give an unusual, irreverent and crucial touch to the book. All of them participate in an important way in the unfolding of the facts narrated in Crazy B!tch. The secrets of Calder, Crazy B!tch, Sam and even one of the clients of the Sex Pistol´s salon form a setback and unleash a series of unexpected events. The revelation of the last clue to the bet can also thrill you. It’s those little revelations throughout the narrative that make it exciting and engaging. Crazy B!tch has all the characteristics of a reading that is definitely worth it.
3.5 Stars – It was a good read but not my favorite and one that I doubt I will read again. I didn’t feel the love between CB/Calder that I have felt for all of the other couples. This one reminded me more of a romantic comedy. One of the things I love about this author is her ability to always bring out the love and support between family and friends. I’m really looking forward to Gavin’s book.
*****SPOILERS*****
Overall, I liked it.
This book was chock-full of EVERYTHING; surprises, happiness, disappointment, laughs, traitors & “I’m gonna kill that b*tch” moments. It was a bit of an overload at times but it was never boring.
Crazy B*tch… I loved learning about her. She was fierce, protective, loving & of course, loads of crazy. Some of the secrets she had threw me off a bit but they led to some exciting scenes in the book.
Calder… I was proud of him. He was a hard-worker, he was resilient & he was sweet. LOVED the way he bonded with & helped Gavin, adored his interaction with Star when the big reveal was made to her (small as it was) & loved his adventurous side in the bedroom.
Back to the overload of events/happenings in the book:
*Greer- LOVED him to pieces. He is a scene-stealer, a smarta** & I can’t get enough of him. The way he orchestrated everything… Incredible. *swoon*
*The Treasure Hunt- Loved the idea & how it brought the clubs together but I was confused beyond belief by the clues. I don’t know how people figured them out!
*Gavin’s meeting with her- I KNEW it wasn’t gonna be all peachy with that gal. So happy that all signs point to a completely fresh beginning for him when it comes to the relationship department!
*Inspector Gadget Penni- Dying to know which Last Rider was in cahoots with her where her invention was concerned.
*The “Lucky” situation- Not pleased with that… At. All. I mean, I know some future things that happen but I needed more closure on his part of the story.
But that motherfrakin’ 93% mark. HATED it with a passion. I was so disappointed that it went that far. I would’ve been fine with it set up to look like something had happened but the fact that there was indeed a f*ckfest… So let down that the story went there. There was already enough drama, so stick with him having to deal with his guilt from using the drugs, not from f*cking that wh*re too. And the fact that we were left with the thought that they f*cked unprotected again… Disgusting. At least note it somewhere that blood tests were done & she wasn’t pregnant. I just hate how uncomfortable I felt at that point in the book. Proud of the way Crazy B*tch dealt with it all but… no. Just no.
All that said, it’s a MUST-READ for Jamie Begley fans!
CANNOT WAIT to get my hands on the next book in this ongoing saga! Desperately need that happily ever after for Rider & Jo!! #RollOnDecember
Love every book in this series. Great author.
Crazy b!tch is exactly that, a crazy b!tch.
I wasn’t a fan of the Biker bitches I thought they were obnoxious twats but as we are introduced to them with their own books and you get their backgrounds I started to appreciate why they were the way they are.
Are they a pain in the ass, of course, even The Last Riders and my Shade doesn’t care for them.
They are an awesome group of women who have each other back.
