Their marriage was nothing more than a business transaction. Or at least that was what they told themselves.
Poppy Weston had been burned enough times by undeserving men to know her heart was best left under lock and key. She was content with her life, even with the lack of romance. Then Jase Hyland walked into Redbud Inn and offered her something she couldn’t refuse. In return, all she had to … she had to do was marry him.
Jase had seen firsthand the kind of damage relationships caused, and he wanted nothing to do with it. He’d been taught from a young age that the only things that should matter to a man were wealth and power. However, all it took was a series of events to lead him down a path he never expected to travel.
It was supposed to be simple. No feelings, no emotions, just two friends entering into a mutually beneficial arrangement.
He thought he had it all figured out . . . until he went and fell for his wife.

Crazy Beautiful is book 2 in The Redemption series by Jessica Prince and quite honestly , my new favorite book.
Where do I start? There is so many things to say about Crazy Beautiful. The most important part are Poppy and Jase! I love them!!! They have crazy hot chemistry together and they just connect. Poppy is beautiful, sweet, hardworking, and sassy woman who is friends with Jase’s sister. Jase is all alpha, charming and sinfully hot.
Poppy is still broken up from a relationship that went south years before and Jase is left sour on relationships due to what he witnessed with his parent’s relationship and how they treated him and his sister.
Without giving much away, Poppy and Jase enter into a fake marriage. I love marriage of convenience trope romances and this story is just beautiful with an amazing plot, great characters and a phenomenal love story that will have you rooting for Jase and Poppy. This story has everything- drama, some angst, tears, action, passion, suspense, small town feel, twists and turns, romance and that beautiful HEA. You don’t want to miss out on Poppy and Jase’s story. I can’t wait for book 3 which I hope is Shane’s story.
My Rating: 4.9 stars ********
THIS is my favorite book of the entire series! Jase and Poppy are absolutely everything!! Fake relationships are one of my favorite tropes and Jessica Prince nailed it with this book! I loved reading how this story turned into so much more than a fake relationship. Jase is an alpha in every sense of the word and the sexual tension between the two of them had me dying for more! The twist at the end is something I never saw coming and LOVED every minute of it! This is one of the BEST small town series that I’ve ever read and I highly suggest it to everyone!
Crazy Beautiful
Book 2 Redemption
Jessica Prince
An awesome addition to a terrific series! Full of banter. Love the characters hot chemistry. Did not leave me disappointed. Absolutely fantastic!
“That was him lyin’ to himself, because he knew, if he admitted the truth, he’d never be able to let you go.”
I AM SO IN LOVE!! Jase and Poppy’s story was everything I wanted it to be! Jessica Prince is a favorite of mine, and I am so in love with the Redemption Series! I love arranged marriage stories, and Crazy Beautiful has officially become my newest favorite! Not only is this story sweet and steamy, but there is also a tad of suspense added! LOVED!! FIVE HUGE STARS!!!
“You’re my favorite person.”
– I LOVE THIS LINE!
Poppy & Jase! Poppy & Jase!!!
I love the pacing to this story – it’s a fake marriage that feels real. It’s friends to lovers with a twist. It’s sweet and STEAMY and heartache and healing and definitely beautiful! And it’s not JUST about Poppy & Jase – we get to catch up w/ Farah & Cannon, & Ben… We get to see some of our favorite characters unite to solve a mystery. We get a glimpse into Shane & Jensen & I’m looking forward to seeing their story play out. This installment of the series gets two HUGE thumbs up!! : )
5 Their Lives Are About to Change Stars!!!
From the minute I met Poppy and Jase in the first book in this series and I knew their connection was magic!! Well, we finally get their story but it’s a book filled with contempt, good winning over evil, and a love that while it’s slow to grow, is very powerful.
Jase is Farah’s older brother and he is a man that is determined to end the domination of his parents over his and Farah’s lives. And boy, was I shocked when we find out what his father has been up to and the lengths that Jase went to to ensure that others were protected. I may have even let a cackle of laughter when it all went down too!! However, Jase is given conditions in which he has to get married to save the company from another poacher in the company. And so enters Poppy into the plan.
Poppy is a woman that is beautiful, kind, loving, has fierce determination to make her life work after her plans collapse around her, and will basically anything within her power for her friends. When Jase comes to her with his proposition of a “fake” marriage that will also help her with her B&B, she’s on board, besides, it’s Jase and he’s the man that takes up all the room in her dreams at night!
This book is filled with a few twists and turns, but it’s also filled with a friendship that grows stronger and stronger and love neither were expecting. I loved how Jase treated his “flower” and showed her what caring and love really is about. Her feelings for him grow to, even if they’re not supposed to. And her friendship with Farah and Shane is really highlighted in this story too. These girls will do anything for each other, even to their own detriment!
This book moves at a wonderful pace and we see some of the most vile people and the lengths they’ll go to in order to recoup what they think they’re owed. And trust me when I tell you there were moments that I was cringing and biting my nails. I was more than thrilled with the outcome of this particular arc in the story. But most satisfying is that Jase and Poppy realize that love really is possible for both of them. Their connection is unbreakable and when you’re each other’s favorite person, it’s a love that will last a lifetime!
Overall, I loved this second book in this series. There’s so many possibilities with the secondary characters too. I loved how Bennett, you remember him, got to put the nail in the coffin so to speak and with the introduction of some of these newer characters this series is going to be right up there with my most favorite not only by Ms. Prince, but by all the authors I’ve read!!
This was such a good read! This author never leaves me disappointed =) Jase and Poppy were great together, and their chemistry was hot! Jase was pretty closed off until Poppy was able to bring him out of it. Poppy was a strong, kick a** heroine, and I was so glad to see her be able to put her past behind her. Jase was alpha all the way, and I loved how he wanted to protect Poppy. The situation with his parents was rough, but I was so happy to see everything work out. The ending was perfect for these two, and I can’t wait to see what happens with Shane!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.
***5 ‘ Favorite Person’ Stars***
And we have another book that took hold of me from the start, took me on one hell of a ride, didn’t let go until there were no more words and has me really wishing the next book was already on the Kindle because I hate saying good-bye to these all these characters
I loved Jase and Poppy ~ even if Jase has an aversion to one of my favorite foods.. Poppy is all kinds of sweet, sassy and determined. Her world went sideways, but she picked herself up and did all she could to make her dreams come true. Jase is charming, sweet and all kinds of protective AF alpha male, something that was ingrained in him from a young age and only became stronger as he grew up.
Poppy and Jase’s journey to their HEA was a fun one. Part of the reason it was fun was because they had such great chemistry from the start. I loved their bantering and they simply flowed well together in every way. But as good as they were together, they do deal with some pretty intense situations that force them both to examine their feelings towards each other and what will make them truly happy.
As much as I love getting to know the MC’s, I can’t deny that a decent portion of my enjoyment of this book came from the supporting cast of characters. I loved catching up with Farah and Cannon, as well as Bennett ~ who is simply amazing. We also get a moment or two with some of the Hope Valley crew, and got introduced to a few new faces ~ Wynn is all KINDS of awesomesauce! And then there is Shane. I love this woman, I really do and I cannot wait to get my hands on her book because it looks like it’s going to be an amazing second chance story with a ton of well meaning, if unwanted help, from the peanut gallery.

BOOK REVIEW
Second book in series, trying to catch up before the fourth book comes.
Poppy is Farah best friend from first book and Jase is her brother. It an instant connection for poppy but she been burnt before and Jase doesn’t believe in love.
This story is a friends with benefits sand they help each other out in a situation they both in.
There drama, chemistry, friendships and catch up/ build up for other characters.
Small town romance not to be missed.
Read with KU.
Jase Hyland needs a wife to get take over his disgraced Father’s company. Jase can only think of one woman who fits what he needs. He needs just a friend, no romantic entanglement, no crossing the lines and Poppy Weston is who comes to mind. Poppy is struggling with her Redbud Inn, this was her dream but the repairs that are needed are quickly making the Inn into a a potential failure. When Jase proposes they help each other out for one year, she agrees. The only problem is they have to pretend in public they are together and those lines get crossed. Can they find a happily ever after or is their an expiration date on their pretend marriage.
I am not sure why I waited on this one but should have picked it up sooner. I loved this one, each book in this series has been amazing and you only want more. Poppy is such a wonderful character and you are rooting for her and Jase to get together. You also begin to see a side of Jase that was not introduced in the first book. Amazing characters and story.
Poppy is owner of an Inn in Redemption. She has experienced nothing but heartache in her life. Jase is born of a wealthy family and has experienced hatred and pain throughout his life. The only love he felt was for his sister and “father figure” Ben. With 2 broken people, could they find happiness?
Their relationship starts with a fake engagement into fake marriage. But it quickly turns real as their chemistry is hard to hold back.
I really liked Poppy, she overcame so much and I could relate to her character. I felt for her throughout the book and thought she was a strong heroine. Jase I did have issues with, but true to his bad childhood, I kind of understood where he was coming from. How he didn’t believe in “happy ever after”, but I really wish he did.
Not a bad second of the series. I did enjoy the characters and connected with them. I look forward to more from Redemption.
I was so hoping book two in the Redemption series would be Jace and Poppy! I loved their story and was rooting for them the whole time! I can’t wait for more from this new series (in the mean time I’ll be going back to read the Hope Valley series, because I love Jessica Prince)!!

I don’t even know where to start. I absolutely adore Poppy and Jase! I couldn’t put this book down at all. I started it the minute it hit my kindle and was finished by the next day!
I loved Bad Alibi (the first book in this series) but this book is EVERYTHING! And YOU ARE NOT READY! Poppy and Jase are so sweet together and they just. make. sense. Poppy is beautiful, hardworking, sweet, sassy, and a nervous rambler. Jase is charming, hardworking, and of course: an alpha whose first instinct is to protect at all costs. He is so unbelievably sweet even with his upbringing. In this book, we look deeper into his and Farah’s parents and find out that, yep, they’re still raging a**holes.
“‘You’ve been sitting here yawning every three minutes because you’re fucking exhausted, Poppy.’
I let out a snort and rolled my eyes. ‘I’m sure that’s an exaggeration.’
‘I’ve timed it,’ he deadpanned, his expression serious as a heart attack.”
I mean, come on, who wouldn’t fall in love with Jase?!?!? There were so many moments in this book that had my heart fluttering like crazy. I highlighted so many parts that I’m glad it was an ebook so I didn’t have to worry about my highlighter running out of ink lol.
“Jase Hyland was a full-contact sleeper. The big spoon to my little. Who would have guessed that?”
Poppy and Jase have this amazing chemistry from the start. Their interactions were always smooth and natural. The pacing of this book was just magical! I loved how they’re relationship progressed so much. I laughed and cried so much its not even funny. I had so many emotions while reading this book that I just can’t even.
‘It means we’re, um, friends,’ I replied. ‘Really good friends. Maybe best friends. Who have sex. And are married.’
‘So…like a real couple.'”
We also got to know the next (hopefully) couple in the series and I am just so in love with Shane and Jensen already. I think Shane and Poppy are my new favorite characters from Jessica Prince! Their friendship reminded me so much of mine with my best friend. And honestly, Shane had the best lines! I won’t be adding any more quotes because I’ve already added so many lol, but I’ll make my highlights public on my Goodreads (once I buy the actual ebook lol)!
Oh my god! I almost forgot about Ben!!! If you’ve already read this book: that part at the end with Ben? cried SO hard. I was sobbing like a baby. My favorite part of the entire book.
4.5 Stars
This is the second book in the Redemption series and Poppy’s story. I fell in love with Poppy in the first book and Jase (Farah’s brother from the first book) couldn’t have been more perfect. They both bring something each other needs in their lives. It may be a marriage of convenience, but it’s easy to see these two are going to have a hard time keeping feelings out of it. There are some truly romantic moments between the two. Jase will make you swoon. I love being able to revisit Redemption. I so love the cast of characters. There is one part of this book that kept me on the edge of my seat. It’s a little nail biting for sure and one the most emotional parts of the book. Also loved that some of my favorite characters from Hope Valley make a cameo. This book is so worth the read. You won’t be disappointed. It’s going to be hard to put this book down because the characters are going to pull you right in.
Crazy Beautiful is the second book in Jessica Prince’s Redemption series, and it continues with this whole new cast of characters that I am loving!
Jase needs to get married. After uncovering crimes committed by his father, causing his father to lose his job and Jase to get put into the role of CEO of Hyland Steel, the board feels that they need the assurance that Jase will become more stable. That’s where Poppy comes in. She is friends with Jase’s sister, and in need of some help. They strike up a deal, but feelings are not a part of it. Until they are.
I love Jase and Poppy! I love their interactions and how subtle their feelings are initially, but how they grow into so much more.
I can’t wait for the next book in this series- I so need Jensen and Shane’s story!!
I have been having trouble with books holding my attention during the Covid-19 quarantine so I haven’t been buying books like I normally would. Jessica Prince is a one click author for me so naturally I had CRAZY BEAUTIFUL on my Kindle the day it was released.
This is book 2 in “The Redemption Series” and another fantastic small town romance. We met the H/h in book 1 and it was cool to get to know them better.
I am absolutely putting this on my TBRA (to be read again) list.
Crazy good, crazy sexy, crazy wonderful! A fantastic second story in this series set in Redemption, TN with a new group of outstanding characters. This one features Farah’s brother the hunky businessman, Jase and her friend, Poppy. Poppy is the fiery redhead that owns the local B & B. After having horrible luck with the men in her life she given up and has no love life. Jase is in need of a fake wife and the gorgeous inn owner is the perfect candidate. She needs a cash influx for needed repairs to her inn and Jase is loaded plus he’s smitten with the beauty even if he’s a confirmed bachelor with no plans for love. No way! It’s just a business deal. Famous last words. Especially with Poppy’s crush on the handsome charmer. It doesn’t take long before the two are married and enjoying their marriage bed. Poppy just needs to protect her heart when the two are playing house and he’s so sweet and caring. Jase just needs to protect those he loves when he takes on his crooked father and takes over the company. But his horrible parents have tortured their kids forever and aren’t going down without reeking havoc. It’s not long before Poppy is in their sights. As the suspense ramps up with Poppy in danger, Jase calls in help in the form of a new group of badass security guys plus the Alpha Omega hunks. I love this new country locale, magnificent characters and stories full of love, laughter, wonderful friendships, steamy romance and a bit of suspense and danger. We need the intrigue for all the hunks to have a job. Jensen Rose, former Army Special Forces, and his group is setting up for future stories. It looks like Poppy’s friend, Shane, and former love, Jensen, are on a collision course to love. Can’t wait! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.
just love the small town romances that Jessica Prince creates and this was no exception! I’m addicted to the Redemption, TN crew. Each book in this series brings in more incredible characters who pull me in and make me fall in love. Jase and Poppy’s story was exactly what I’d hoped for in an arranged marriage of convenience story! It was hot, heart breaking, dramatic, uncertain, sweet and teasing.
I truly felt for both main characters and their individual struggles and issues. Both Jase and Poppy had pasts they wanted to forget about, people and memories they wanted to leave behind. Jase more so with his manipulative and controlling family and the wealth that accompanied it.
These two characters were meant for each other and I’m so glad they got their HEA in the end, despite the utterly bumpy and life threatening path it took to get there! The turmoil that Jase’s family put them through only proved how perfect for each other they were and how deep their love flowed for one another.
This story was fast paced and flowed so well. The writing was incredible. Enjoyed it from start to finish!
A sweet, fun marriage of convenience storyline, some fantastic chemistry and banter. It’s also got a bit of suspense and drama. A great addition to the series.
Jase and Poppy are proof that this author is able to give us couples who have drama but have it in completely different ways. What supposedly began as a deal and nothing else quickly morphed into the “more” that both Jase and Poppy have actively avoided in life. They’ve both seen heartache and both feel that happy isn’t in the cards for them. Boy, are they wrong. They just have to get through some serious misery to hold onto that happiness.
And after this book, I can’t wait to find out what really happened with Jensen and why he seemingly abandoned Shane so long ago.
