There’s a fine line between love and hate… pushes, the more her walls crumble, and Tess soon discovers that his sweet kisses and even sweeter words might be just what she’s been looking for in life.
And Tess Walker hates Beau Allen…
Beau Allen has it all: loving family, plentiful friends, and a job that sends him all over the world. What he doesn’t have is a home—or a reason to make one. Living out of a suitcase isn’t ideal, but he’s perfectly content. That is, until a beautiful woman barrels her way into his life and has him second-guessing everything. Tess is nothing like the women he’s used to and everything like the woman he wants. Grounded, strong, funny, sweet, and sexy. Did he mention sexy? Her curves make it hard for him to think, and his life’s mission soon becomes making her laugh and sigh and moan, because he really likes it when she moans. But Beau isn’t used to sticking around. Still, he’s hoping she’ll give him a reason to stay.
Doesn’t she?

Beau and Tess’s story is not an insta-love story but instead an insta-hate-lust that turns into love after some time. These two are both so stubborn, especially Tess but you’ve got to read their story to figure out what makes them the way they are and what makes them tick too.
I’m a big fan of the author, K.L. Grayson and I’m never disappointed with any of her stories so I wasn’t surprised when this one was great like the rest 🙂
This story has every element that makes a good story turn into a great story. It has humor, some drama, banter, great secondary characters that add to the story, passion, some secrets, some angst, hot chemistry between Beau and Tess (the main characters), decisions that need to be made, hesitations, doubts, insecurities, lasting friendships, newfound friendships as well and most importantly, recognizing when love is in front of you and not letting it slip through your fingers, which Beau did and I was so HAPPY when he didn’t give Tess the chance to make excuses and claimed her as his, FOREVER, not that she minded much either 😉
I absolutely enjoyed this one! Devoured in one sitting. I loved Beau, he’s sexy and sweet. Beau and Tess have great chemistry from the start. Hooked from the beginning to end. Love this series and this one is definitely my favorite.
Fast, easy read featuring one of Mo’s best friends (Tess) and another Allen brother (have mercy!)- Beau. I think that Tess is one of the heroines that I’ve most related to- she’s been burned by a tough life and has to be independent and closed off to get by. She’s emotionally unavailable. Beau is always traveling for his work (photographer). When his brother’s upcoming wedding brings him home for a short period, sparks fly.
I loved the chemistry between the two, and, once again, Tess is my gal. It was a quick, satisfying read- another win in the Dirty Dicks series.
Crazy Beautiful Love by Author KL Grayson is a small town romance full of heart. The author is so well skilled at writing stories that rip you apart and put you back together better than they found you!
Beau is gorgeous, sweet and a photographer that travels the world.
Tess tends to keep herself guarded because of her past and fear of getting hurt again, yet she is so generous with others.
They have a past that he doesn’t remember and she has a fear that he will hurt her again. She also fears he will be jetting off again soon and doesn’t want to put her heart on the line.
When walls come tumbling down the beauty of their feelings blossoms and grows.
As always, a solid sexy read by K.L. Grayson. I love when characters interconnect in a series; it’s like extra epilogues! Tess and Beau we adorable together. I will admit to be being a bit irritated at the lack of communication. And then I realized, that is real life! I have done the same thing. Wanting to speak your heart but not wanting to be vulnerable, just in case it isn’t reciprocated. I also really liked that the angsts was not heavy or prolonged! I can’t wait for the next one in this series.
OH Beau!!! This man is one of the good guys on so many levels. Beau has been away from his family for years and now he is back to enjoy his family that he misses. Tess has a past that breaks one emotional heart. She is trying to make her grandmother’s flower shop something better; she is trying to prove she is worthy. Tess is so worthy but doesn’t feel it, now someone from her past is right in front of her wanting to help.
Beau and Tess have this chemistry that is off the charts. They feel deep, they feel so much that they also need each other in so many ways. Beau knows Tess past, Tess knows that Beau is the one; they just seemed to miss a few chances to tell each other.
“I don’t feel sorry for you. I feel thankful.” “Thankful?” When I look at Beau, he’s smiling. “Thankful that I get to be the one to give you this”

I really think this series keeps getting better and better. I wanted to get Tess’s backstory since the first book in this series, and getting to know the mysterious oldest Allen brother- Beau- who was always travelling for work. I wasn’t disappointed at all! I loved these two t0gether right from the start.
I definitely recommend Crazy, Beautiful Love, and this series~!
Oh my goodness how did I not write up my review after I finished this book…. I’ll blame it on work and the crazy rain we had at the beginning of the week, lol. I’ve enjoyed the journey of the Allen family so far and I was super excited to get to read about the infamous Beau Allen and get to know Tess better. From the other books I gathered that Tess had a story that might not have been all that happy. Well I was right, there is sooo much more to Tess and it was great to read how she overcame and persevered. Tess quickly became a favorite character of mine. As for Beau, he stole my heart!! Such a good guy with the right mix of cockiness and alpha personality. Another great story by K.L., I’ll be sad to say goodbye to the Allen’s once the other two brothers get their stories.
5 I love visiting Heaven, Texas Stars!!!
Finally we get Tess’s story and I’m just giddy with how much I love Tess and Beau Allen together! Beau, the world traveling photographer has returned home after being away for a long time and he’s got his sights set on seducing the beautiful florist, and Mo’s best friend Tess…problem is, Tess isn’t so keen on the idea.
Ms. Grayson does a wonderful job of reminding me why I love this town and these Allen men. Beau is tall, sexy and oh so swoony! He just can’t understand why he’s not Tess’s favorite person, and when so much of the past comes out, I think I hurt as much as Tess did telling the story.
Once they get over the hurdle of the past, Beau and Tess finally act on the sizzling chemistry shooting between them. And oh my goodness is it HOT!!! He’s quite the skilled man in this area and our girl Tess reaps all the rewards of it!!
This is a quick but very satisfying read and I love how Ms. Grayson has the ability to bring all her stories to life with characters that I love and swoon over in each and every book. I can honestly say Beau and Tess are my favorites from Heaven, Texas!!!
Sometimes love happens when you least expect it. Sometimes it is the person you least suspect that you ever have relationship with. Tess hasn’t had it easy and she found a family in Heaven with the Allens’. They have given her family and friendship when she didn’t have any. Beau has it all, a dream job, a great family and all the money he could ask for, but is that enough. He never questioned it until one day everything changed. This was a highly emotionally charged story and probably the best one in the series
I have loved this series up to this point and was ecstatic when I found out we were finally going to get to know the elusive, absent Allen boy, Beau. So much had been made of him and with the exception of a few glimpses at who he was through other’s perspectives, I had no idea what to make of the nomadic brother. I was also very excited to learn more about Tess and her highly guarded past. I was not disappointed with Crazy, Beautiful Love, and I was glad not to have a high-drama, angst-fest for these two, there were enough other things to learn about their story without unnecessary drama.
Tess and Beau had a great dynamic. I loved that they both gave as good as they got, and their banter was filled with affection and familiarity – even when they were still getting to know one another. It seemed like they’d been destined to be together and it was beautiful to see them share their lives and pasts with each other and begin to love and trust when neither of them thought that was in their shared future.
The only wishes I have for Crazy, Beautiful Love have to do with editing. There were a couple of continuity issues that need to be addressed and are easy fixes. The first is that Tess’ mom’s name changes from the beginning to the end, at first she’s called Caroline, then it switches to Christine. Secondly, there is an inconsistency with the marital status of Noah and Lennon, when we first see them in this book they’re purported to be engaged, then later – with no mention of a wedding – they’re said to be husband and wife. Again, not big issues, but something that needs to be addressed.
Crazy, Beautiful Love is the fourth book in KL Grayson’s Dirty Dicks series. These books are interconnected standalones and can be read independently if desired. There is a tie-in to KL Grayson’s standalone novel, The Truth About Lennon in this book, but it is not necessary to read that book to understand this story. Crazy, Beautiful Love is written in dual first-person perspective, narrated by Tess and Beau.
A bouquet worthy 5 stars!

What a catch!
K.L. Grayson caught me off guard in this sweet and wonderful story. Crazy Beautiful Love is part of the Dirty Dicks series and tells the story of Beau and Tess.
“If this were a romance novel, I’d swoon.”
It is! And boy did I swoon!
Beau Allen travels a lot for work. Being a well-known photographer who goes into the heart of the action, he’s in big demand for anyone needing to capture the painful and vivid truth of what happens around the world.
Flower shop owner and best friend of Mo – who we meet in book one of this series – Tess is as much part of the Allen family as anyone else. No one really knows much about her past and Tess prefers it that way. Her past isn’t exactly something she’s proud of but she survived the blows and that’s the important part of it.
Tess and Beau meet because of their relation to the family and the fact that Heaven is a small town. It was bound to happen no matter how much Tess tries to avoid him. Little does she realize what impact getting to know Beau will have.
Throughout the family get-togethers as well as a nudge from both the most obvious and the most unexpected, Beau and Tess connect. Neither wants to move too fast or push the other because who knows when Beau is expected to travel abroad again for work and who knows what secrets Tess hides so deeply.
Sure enough, as time goes on and their story unwinds with laughter and tears. It’s clear that things are never as simple as they seem. Decisions are made and events lead to consequences. Some really good, some really sad.
“I’m a mess.”
“You’re my mess.”
K.L is a master storyteller and she finds ways to keep you absolutely hooked!
This book can be read as a standalone. You also meet the characters from previous books. It is always great when an author manages to keep that connection to the characters you know like your own.
“You’re lucky to have grown up surrounded by so much love.”
As a last note, I personally love big happy families and this book has no shortage of that!
This story is an amazing roller coaster ride that will have you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. I could not put this book down for nothing when I started it. I first started reading it in the car on a ride then I could not put it down and I finished it that night.
Tess is a strong character that I loved because she was real with herself and she knew when she couldn’t handle things and did not lie or try to fake it. She was real with Beau and that I loved most about her because they circled around one another but ended up telling each other how they felt and started working on a relationship.
Beau lord have mercy Beau I just adored him because he was living his life and having his fun until he met Tess and she changed his life. She made him want to settle down and stop doing the one night stands. She made him want to settle down and get a house and have that relationship that every woman dreams of having.
This is an amazing read and I recommend it so go on and one click it!
Crazy Beautiful Love is book 4 I believe in the Dirty Dicks Series. This was my first time reading a book by this author and I didn’t realize that this was a part of a series until after I started reading. This book was able to be read as a standalone but now I really need to go and once click some of the others because I absolutely fell in love with all of these characters!
Tess is such a strong character. As the story goes on we learn about everything she has been through and why she has closed herself off for so many years. Tess has a heartbreaking story and one that had me feeling so many emotions.
Beau is finally home for an extended period of time after traveling for work. When he sees Tess he feels an instant connection to her, however, for reasons unknown to him she wants nothing to do with him. As the two begin spending more and more time together incidents from the past are revealed and the reasons behind how Tess is feeling are explained.
Together, Tess and Beau begin filling a place in each others hearts that neither one realized needed filled.
This book has it all. A wonderful story line, amazing characters and some serious chemistry! You will not be disappointed! – By Alisa
More Allens? Hell yeah! I was so excited for a new book by KL Grayson! And man she didn’t disappoint with this one. Can you say swoon worthy? These Allen brothers keep getting sexier and swoony with each new book.
I devoured this book. It was sweet with a whole lot of sexy. Beau is a smooth talker just like the other men in his family. He’s an alpha male with a sweet side. He’s more than the famous photographer. Tess is a reformed woman with secrets. But her secrets don’t define her. She’s sweet and caring with a heart of gold. These two had off the charts chemistry creating those steamy scenes to make you fan yourself. KL knows how to write sexy.
It’s a low angst, sweet story to make your romantic heart flutter.
It’s about insecurities…. Don’t get me wrong it’s hot and steamy too. However it’s built on each other not knowing how the other feels.
Beau is an adventure photographer. He’s out of town or overseas a lot. Coming home to spend time with his family is just what he needs to slow down.
Tess? Well she’s an angel. He’s family loves her and she hates him, at first anyways.
Tess has big secrets and yet they seem so small when the truth comes out.
I loved these two together because the intense chemistry is epic. And let’s not forget the parrot with the potty mouth! He’s possibly my favorite character ever!
It’s a good novel to get lost in and feels so real…
I love KL Grayson’s characters, especially her strong female leads. Tess is broken but healing with the help of her friends and their families, and she’s getting better a day at a time. Beau (and the rest of the Allen men) is thoughtful, gentle, hardworking, and he doesn’t let Tess get away with hiding her true personality. She learns to open up to him and watching the hate-to-love shift is a beautiful thing. But now I need to know more about Lilly!
When author KL Grayson writes a book about Heaven, TX, you can bet I’ll be reading it! A book about brothers, yup, I’m sold!!!
Tess and Beau’s story is filled with so many feels…
Tess owns the local flower shop and Beau travels the world as a photographer. Both of them may be successful but what’s missing in their lives?
I was so excited to read about the secondary characters that cameo’d! How fun to read about some of my faves from other series, such a cool idea! It made me want to go back and reread those series too!
If you like books with lots of love, feels, spicy times…you’ll love this one! I highly recommend the entire series! I love it!
3.5-4 stars, sweet, sexy, and a HEA!
Tess has had a chip on her shoulder when it comes mention to Beau Allen for a while. Beau’s been away from Heaven doing his photography gig travelling the world for years so why does she seem to hate him so much?
We get the low down on Mo’s friend (and owner of Simon, the mouthy bird she took in from Animal Haven, lol) delving into her past and finding out makes her so closed off. She’s not actually a stranger to Heaven, Texas, and it’s her past and what it has to do with Beau that’s caused her to hold a grudge against him for years. Beau feels that Tess is familiar but can’t quite put a finger on why. In town on a sabbatical till after his brother Rhett’s marriage to Mo, all Beau knows is he wants to spend more time with Tess and help her in any way possible.
As the two become closer, neither wants to admit what’s growing is more than just temporary “having fun.” As Tess’s world is turned on it’s axis, Beau gets a job offer that could take his career to the next level. As the events unfold both of them are forced to take a good hard look at their lives and decide what it is they want and if the other fits into that picture; is this more than just great chemistry?
I have really enjoyed these standalone books revolving around the Allen family siblings. They are quick, sweet, sexy reads with a lot of heart and I’m going to miss this family when the series concludes!
4.5 stars for Crazy Beautiful Love!
I love Beau and Tess together!
I don’t have a lot of time to read lately, but for this book, I couldn’t not make time to flip pages on one of the best books I’ve read this year. (I know we’ve just started this year, but I’m telling you, this book is amazing.)
Tess broke my heart. Sometimes the things parents do hurt more than they realize.
As Tess struggles to make a new life, a new beginning, a part of her past comes storming through the carefully constructed walls she spent so much time building around her heart.
Beau is..wow, what’s a girl to say about him? I thought this author would never top Rhett, but I was so so wrong.
This man is full of confidence and yumminess!
KL Greyson gives us a story that opens two people’s hearts to the endless possibilities of love and will make you sigh out loud.
I did however, find myself yelling inside my head, “Oh for God’s sake, one of you just be honest!”
Angst….yeah this author knows how to do it!
Don’t miss this one. You want to read this book!
Thank you Kirby for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.
