USA Today Bestselling author Adriana Locke brings laughter and love in this friends-to-lovers, small town romance. Love is crazy.Peck Ward, the sweet, small-town mechanic, isn’t sure it’s for everyone. Least of all him. His life is chaotic enough without adding the pressure of a relationship. Besides, unrequited love is a real thing and he’s kind of over it.This works out perfectly until a … works out perfectly until a certain someone throws a wrench–pun intended–into his plans. As they go from adversaries to friends to possibly something more, things get complicated. After all, they know how this story ends. It’s not with them together.
His easy grin is enough to win her over. Her unabashed personality does him in. But are they ready to accept the fact that sometimes you don’t find love where you’re looking for it? Sometimes you find it in the most unexpected, craziest places.

Loved Crazy! I was so excited for Peck to finally get his HEA and just knew he was going to be special. So it comes with no surprise that Peck Ward might just be my favourite in The Gibson Boys Series.
Peck Ward was so much more than his silliness and fun-loving side. He was an absolute sweetheart, loyal and loveable.
Dylan Snow was just the spitfire that Peck needed in his life. She too was layered, needing someone like Peck in her life to really glow.
Peck and Dylan share much similarities when it comes to familial issues and love. They made perfect sense together. They had fun together and found peace within each other’s company.
P.S. Nana is just the best. I love her more and more with every book in this series.
I Absolutely LOVED this book! I like so many others, have patiently waited for Peck’s story. I promise this will be a spoiler-free review. My goal is always to give my thoughts on a book, without spoiling the story. Hopefully speaking in generalities (when it comes to Peck’s highly-anticipated story) will give readers new to Adriana’s writing or long time fans, a good idea of how awesome this book is.
Peck’s story was Everything I hoped it would be. I’ve loved his character since I first met him in “Crank”. I read slower than I usually do, because I wanted to treasure his story. I wanted to savor every morsel of Peck, as I learned more about him & his back story. I loved every bit. From learning his real name (it’s perfect, by the way), to his early years & seeing what made him become the caring grandson, goofy cousin & loyal friend to those that matter to him. It was also beautiful & touching to see him navigate & process his feelings & concerns for the woman he chooses. I loved the mystery of “who will Peck end up with?” unfold before my eyes. Adriana did an amazing job of showing us a side a Peck, that was a joy to discover & also heartbreaking at times. It was the perfect mix.
It was also great to see & catch up with favorite characters, from the other books in this series.
I loved seeing Peck finally get his moment in the sun. It was so worth the wait.
I believe long time fans will love who captures Peck’s heart. It is a well fought for HEA that Peck undoubtedly deserves.
This book was so wonderful yet also had my heart feeling like it was squashed in a vice. Peck was so vulnerable, so lost under that cheeky grin and cocky attitude – it really did hide the true person underneath. I knew I’d love Peck but came nowhere near guessing just how much that would be.
His significant other was a bit of a surprise and quite different to what first impressions suggested. She was everything I’d want in a special someone for Peck. Loved this story.
The writing is typical Adriana Locke, giving you all the feels and leaving you will a huge satisfied smile. The story is so well written it takes no effort to read and I found myself both laughing and crying at various times during this book. I’d been so looking forward to this book that I was almost afraid it wouldn’t live up to the hype or my expectations. Foolish me, of course it did – it even surpassed them because that’s what this author does best.
I fell in love with Peck way back in Crank so I have been looking forward to his story and I was not disappointed.
Peck is kind, loving, always looking to help and protect others; this can be seen right through the series. Everyone believes he is in love with Molly, maybe even he does, but it’s not as straightforward as everyone thinks. But this all changes the day Dylan thinks he is someone else and reads him the riot act. Dylan is fiesty and mischievous but also hurting and lost after her boyfriend leaves her for his ex.
I loved their story, learning to trust each other and themselves. I love their communication; they talk even though it may be hard and will make them vulnerable.
Their story includes some hilarious moments thanks to Nana and the Gibson Boys.
I loved this series
I knew when I met Peck in Crank, that I would fall hardest for him. I was right. He is sweet, kind, funny, sexy, and everything anyone could ever want in a book hero. He has his fears, but he lives in the moment most of the time. When Dylan enters his life, it is apparent from the beginning that she was meant for him. She is feisty and fun and cute and he doesn’t stand a chance. I love the comfort level they gain with each other and that it happens so quickly. There is heat, lots of laughs, and the Gibson family wound throughout this story. I love that she and Nana immediately connect. This one is a winner and I can see rereading it again down the road.
Crazy (The Gibson Boys #4) was another great read by Adriana Locke. Although Peck has seen love around him, he’s kind of over it. He meets the one girl who could change everything and make him want to start dating. I loved reading Peck’s story and can’t wait to read more by Adriana Locke.
Peck finally gets his HEA and its a surprise on who it is! Both are good for each other. She can handle her own with him! Nana is a hoot in this story too! This about about a man and a woman with fears and bruises can come together and work them out!
Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott made this a fun story to listen to!.audiobookobsesssionreviewer
Peck fell hard and fast with a woman who is sassy yet insecure. Her family is lacking in love and support. And while Peck had disappearing parents, he is surrounded by people who care about him. Peck is innately good and generous, and he’s a man who knows how to have fun. He’s endeared himself to readers in all the Gibson boy books. Dillon is a good partner for him and he for her and they both fell hard and fast. Though I liked their story, I had built up Peck’s story so much that this one felt somewhat anticlimactic. I liked it and Nana made it even better.
I read the boxset, which included Crank, Craft, Cross, Restraint, Crash, Crave, and Crazy.
Thank you Adriana for creating such amazing alphas that are so protective of their loved ones and the strong head-strong women that are perfect for them! Nana had my heart from the first book, I just want to hug her and sit and listen to her advice and stories.
These book are an ABSOLUTE MUST READ!!!!
I love, love, LOVE all things to do with Peck!
This book is everything I’ve been waiting for regarding Peck. How could you not want this gentle bear to find his heart’s desire?
Dylan moves into town to be closer to her friend Navie while they each are recovering from heartbreak. Navie and Peck are besties as well and he stops by Navie’s where Dylan mistakes him for Navie’s Ex and this is where the craziness begins. He is instantly enamored by this feisty woman and can’t seem to get enough. I love everything about this couple and the band of characters within this story and series.
I also enjoyed listening to the audible version that is whisper-synced to the ebook. This is done in duel narration, which I love. Both narrators were involved with the story laughing when they needed to laugh and so on. I thoroughly enjoyed their narration and the mellowness of their voices. I felt they enhanced my reading and listening experience completely.
Crazy has to be my favorite of the Gibson Boys series. I love Peck so much. He just puts a big old smile on my face every time he makes an appearance in the series. We finally get Pecks story in Crazy. This book made me laugh out loud, put a big old smile on my face, brought tears to my eyes and made my heart so happy. Peck the loveable goofball will steal your heart and then some. Dylan she is a firecracker and just what is needed for Peck. I love how Dylan just fits so well into the family without even trying. Lets not forget Nana and her ways. She is simply adorable when it comes to Dylan and Peck in this one. I love this book so much and didn’t want it to end. It just makes me so happy for Peck and Dylan finding what they weren’t expecting to find. If you haven’t read this book and/or this series yet then you really need to.
This book is funny, and sweet and all the things a good romance book should be. I really enjoyed it!
This story did not disappoint. Adrianna Locke told a wonderful story of two people who you can root for. I love hearing from all of the characters from other stories in this series and you can’t help but root for Peck and see what trouble he can get into. I have not found a book of Adrianna Lockes that I have not loved and could not put down, this is another one that is read/listened to in hours. I could not stop (thank god my boss called in). Kai Kennicot and Wen Ross made the narration come to life.
Peck Ward is the Gibson Boys cousin, he is crazy, and wise and has been a big part of the whole series imparting his wisdom. He has been talking about Molly forever, the whole town dislikes her and her ways. Peck is the only one who understands her. But then he meets Dylan and she sets his world topsy turvy and maybe he hasn’t been in love wtih Molly all these years.
Besides loving the Gibson Boys their grandma is the highlight of each book. She is so funny
What a great way to end this series!!
I have been waiting for Peck to finally get his HEA. I have adored this man since the very first book. He is always the level headed one who will always help the woman when his cousins were being idiots. He was the one who made sure they got to their car OK and home safe. This man is the perfect book boyfriend. He is always quick with a joke but you know his heart is in the right place and he just needed to find a woman who deserved him.
I was a little surprised by who the author chose for Peck. When I envisioned who I thought Peck deserved it wasn’t her. However, the author made it work. She was a little standoffish in the beginning but softened as the book went on.
I just have to say, I loved loved loved the scene where Nana comes to the bar. It was just everything!! I loved the boys reaction to it.
I loved everything about this book! The Gibson boys & Nana are such a wonderful family of characters. The banter between everyone is one of the best things about this series. The narrators allow these characters to come to life & you feel like your right there standing beside them & feeling every emotion right there with them.
I loved Peck! His history made him this understanding person with a look on life that was so unexpected at times. I loved Nana. She steals the scene when she’s mentioned. I loved that Dylan found her place, and because of Peck and his Nana she started looking at her family differently. This book was sweet and hot! Truly lived up to my expectations!
It’s been days since I finished this book, and I still can’t get over just how much I love it! Anyone who has been reading the Gibson boys had to know it was going to be special, because Peck has been such a fun character all along, but this was even better than expected.
Peck and Dylan are incredible. I love that Peck is genuinely a good guy. He goes out of his way to make sure those he loves are taken care of, but he is also a total goofball. He knows how to have a good time and make everyone laugh. His relationship with Nana is enough to completely melt your heart. Watching him fall for Dylan was just everything. He made me swoon, and pulled at every single one of my heartstrings.
Dylan is not only everything I could’ve wanted for Peck, she is a great character in and of herself. She is fire and sass on top of a thick layer of vulnerability. She is a loyal friend who goes out of her way to help others even when she is frustrated and struggling herself. She is funny and so sweet. Finding her way to Peck, not only brought her unexpected love, it brought her family and a stability she had never known. I couldn’t be more happy for her!
Peck and Dylan together? They are enough to melt your Kindle and bring out all the feels! They both had a lot of emotional baggage to overcome, but it didn’t weigh the story down. Instead, their vulnerability made them human and lovable. Watching them learn to lean on one another was fantastic!
Adriana completely killed it with this book! I couldn’t love it more!
Adriana Locke struck gold again. I shouldn’t be surprised at this point, I mean this woman’s writing is always on point. But there was something about Crazy that just made me not want to put it down. It could’ve been the way it started with sass and wit, but mostly, it was Peck.
I won’t lie, I was the tinniest bit nervous that he wouldn’t live up to all I hyped him up to be from the previous books in the series (no need to worry if you haven’t read them, this is a total standalone) but there was no need. Everything I thought I knew about him was blown out of the water and amped up to an extra three hundred levels of swoon.
I loved how hard he loved. His friends. His family, especially Nana. How much he gave of himself- his time and energy. How he never asked for anything in return. How he couldn’t get Dylan out of his mind. She stormed into his life, a whirlwind of sarcasm and sincerity, and knocked him off his axis. I liked that she gave him a place to land. To not be ‘on’ all the time. To not always be the one laughing and smiling and bringing everyone else up.
Things between Peck and Dylan moved fast. Faster than they knew they could. That didn’t make what they were feeling any less real or intense. Even when it scared them a bit, they didn’t want to stay away. Couldn’t stay away. They were a part of each other. And that ending! Be still my ever smiling heart! It was absolutely perfect and had me wanting Crazy to never end.
Oh, Peck.
I have loved Peck for so long. I have been dying for his story. I loved his cheeky charm and devil-may-care attitude and the way he was such a solid, strong presence in all of the other stories.
But, I feel like that’s not the Peck I got here. And while I appreciate that the Peck we got in this story went a whole lot deeper than anything we’ve seen before, I felt like it did so at the expense of some of that charm and devilry I had already fallen so hard for.
Things started really strong. I adored the meet-cute. I loved the build-up – the long fuse that sparked and fizzed with the promise of something really explosive. But then it sort of dropped off for me. I didn’t feel the chemistry the way I really wanted to. I didn’t get as much of that cheeky adorableness that I expected. It just didn’t feel like how I expected it to feel and my heart didn’t quite wrap itself around this romance the way I wished it would.
That said, it’s always a good time with the Gibson Boys (and Wards). I love this crazy family and the small town that surrounds them. For me, the teasing and tough love among the boys were an absolute highlight of this story. There’s no question that Adriana Locke can write the heck out of a loving and lovable family, and that’s absolutely where the rewards lay within Crazy.
In the end, Crazy wasn’t my favorite of the series, but it was still a fun, sweet read and you definitely don’t want to miss out on a single moment with this amazing family!
