I read all these book individually early, lucky you if you’re buying them all together.
Handcuffed by Destiny: This is a story that proves love does conquer all.
Destiny is a broken woman, she’s suffered what no woman should be put through. Treated like property, feeling worthless can she survive this emotional trauma?
Bran Bowers is her hero, her saviour. Can he heal her heart?
I can tell you I wasn’t even a quarter of the way into this book and I was crying. Such a powerful tale that will give you the ‘feels’, make you angry, sick and every other emotion you can think of. I think this author would have struggled researching some of these details. It’s real, brutally real…not all harsh though, you will appreciate the journey of love.
The story line was well paced, I read it over one afternoon. The characters were real and a joy to discover. I look forward to more in this series.
The Lawman’s Lover: Colby returns to his home town to help take care of his ill mother. Giving up military life to become a small town cop. Elizabeth “Bethie” is someone from his past and all grown up now. He wants her and she wants no man. She’s still hurting from her failed marriage.
This is a beautiful journey of love, overcoming obstacles along the way. I fell in love with these characters and was hoping they’d have their HEA.
Paw prints on her Heart: Lori King you blow my mind, you bring your heart into your tales. I felt for this poor woman being a survivor of war and fighting her way back with survivor guilt and flashbacks. The story had many hilarious moments too, not at all gloomy. Being an Aussie the comment about the Aussie Shepherd and an Aussie accent cracked me up as those dogs are not even Australian lol.
Luke the vet has an instant attraction to Payton, gotta love a man who sees the woman through the scars. He is helping her settle in with her service dog and through her episodes of PTSD. Crawley Creek Ranch is one of my favourite places to visit in this series and I look forward to more of these characters and the continuation of this couple.
The ending, what about the ending you evil woman…what’s happening next?
The fifth book in the Crawley Creek series is a gripping read that easily draws readers in keeps glued to the pages with an emotionally turbulent romance. Destiny and Bran are two strong, compelling characters that encourage empathy and understanding in readers as they become caught up in the couple’s story.
Next, The Lawman’s Lover is a delightful read with two charismatic characters that easily draw readers into their story while they take their shared past and build a new future despite the emotional turmoil of the past.
Then in Paw Prints On Her Heart readers can’t help but enjoy Payton and Luke story as they fight Payton’s emotional issues as well Luke’s family issues in order to reach for the happily ever after,.
All three of these Crawley Creek romances are gripping, emotional romances that capture the reader’s heart as the heroes and heroines have to fight for their happily ever after, they are all fast paced with a smooth flow that keeps readers following along until they have read all three stories. Some of the subjects may be a bit touchy, but for the most part the romances are quite inspiring as they show courage to take a step forward and reach for those HEAs. There is an overall plot that suspense and excitement to the story as some mysterious enemy attacks the ranch and its inhabitants, so while each of the romances are standalone, it is best to read these stories in sequential order so that readers can get the most of their reading experience.
Although, I wish that the stories were longer, I completely enjoy each and every visit I make to the Crawley Creek ranch and the wonderful characters that make their home there and I can’t wait until my next visit.
