Blake Sullivan’s perfect life is imploding. His father threw his mother out of the house, and now they’re going through a nasty divorce while the whole town watches.Since I’ve been away at college, I had no idea that my brother Aric was the one responsible for destroying Blake’s family. Or that Blake would stop at nothing to get back at Aric. And I never thought that I would be used as a pawn in … would be used as a pawn in Blake’s revenge, not until it’s too late.
Now I have to make an impossible decision, one that will change everything.
I’ll never forget what Blake did to me; and no matter how much he begs, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to forgive him.

This is book 2 in the Mercy Academy series and it features Blake Sullivan and Caroline Prince. Such a tangled web of secrets and lies. He’s her brother‘s best friend and they’re neighbors. Blakes always had a crush on Caroline, who is a few years older than he is. She doesn’t even notice him until his 18th birthday. While he’s still trying to wrap his head around his parents divorce, Caroline comes over and has a big birthday surprise for him. Needless to say after everything, Blake and Caroline have to grow up fast. Everything seems relatively easy until you’re faced with the consequences of your actions. That’s when you have to make some truly adult decisions.
The amount of character growth is tremendous and the story line is good.
*Spoiler Alert*
After the fallout in book 1 (Beg for Mercy) between Aric and Blake. Book 2 continues on from that upset with Aric & Blake still at odds with each other. Until an old crush of Blake’s turns up on his birthday & a night of passion turns into even bigger problems. As its Aric;s sister Caroline (FMC). I was struggling to like Blake at the beginning of this book. He was arrogant and obnoxious. I understand why he was acting the way he was and i get why he blamed Aric. Even if his mother was at fault for the whole episode. I genuinely felt for Caroline throughout the book though. Especially how she was treated by her mother & father. I actually was close to tears with some of what she had to go deal with. It definitely brought on the feels in me. This is really a bittersweet book but thank god for that ending. Such a lovely read. Loved Caroline & Blake
*spoilers*
I read this in just a few hours. I could not stop reading it. It’s about teens so it’s like a young adult book but for adults. Blake is a high school senior. His best friend, Aric, ruins basically his life by having an affair with Blake’s mom. Caroline, Aric’s older sister, is a college freshman on a visit home to tell her parents she’s failing already in college. They have a run in at Blake’s Birthday/Halloween party. Blake loses his virginity and Caroline has her first “good sex” experience. They also end up pregnant. She comes home and they basically bond while dealing with their families, plans for adoption and trying to figure out their futures. It’s a HEA book all the way. Blake and Caroline are just too damn cute. It’s a really good book that should definitely be read.

After reading Beg for Mercy I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Blake’s story and what a story….. filled with anger, secrets, angst and growth. If you thought you knew what to expect in this story, think again because it definitely had some jaw-dropping moments. Blake it’s still reeling from Aric and his mother’s betrayal and vows for revenge. Caroline is having a difficult time in college and comes home to inform her parents; however, instead she ends up at a party cheering up Blake. Blake and Caroline are two very different people stuck in very difficult situations but can good come from it all?? I guess you’ll need to read this story to find out how it all plays out!
It was good to get back to Mercy Academy even with all the issues and problems that abound within the tight nit group of Blake, Aric and Royal. Everyone expects Blake to celebrate his Birthday as usual when all he can think about is how Aric betrayed his trust when he slept with his Mom or the fact that his father has not been around since they found out. Imagine Blake’s surprise when Aric’s sister Caroline whom he has had a bit of a crush on forever shows up in his room. Caroline has some problems of her own but for just one night they are able to leave their problems behind. Little do they realize but that night is the beginning of a different kind of trouble that they can only hope to be able to handle. I love this Series and can’t wait for the next trip back to Mercy Academy to see how all my favorite students are doing.
I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest and totally voluntary review.
Blake is still dealing with everything that has been going on with his mom and his bestfriend so when his birthday rolls around, he’s not really in a party mood. When Caroline shows up things take a different turn. Caroline is dealing with some personal issues and just wants to forget about things for a little while. What happens next changes things for everyone involved. Now, they are both left having to deal with the consequences.
This is the second book I have read in this series and I was so excited to get it! Great read!
At first this book was slow getting my attention. But I stuck with it and am glad I did. From the middle till the end I had so many different feelings going on. I don’t want to leave spoilers but this book was very good, and I’m glad I trudged through to the middle to reach the good stuff!

My first book from the author and I have to admit I did like it. The book was good and it did surprise me a bit as it wasn’t like other book oks that I have read. I wasn’t sure whether she would change her decision or not so I was surprised when I found out. I’ll definitely read the next book..

4*
Blake is still reeling from his mother’s betrayal and his parents divorce.
He’s always had the hots for Caroline but never acted on it as shes Aric’s sister.
A visit home leads her been invited by Royal to Blake’s 18th trying to get blake out of his mood the night doesn’t end as planned.
I loved both Blake & Caroline’s character such strong life choices & decisions to make despite what their families thought.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book
Crave for Mercy is the second book in the Mercy Academy series. I read Beg for Mercy and fell in love with this series and was super excited to read this one.
This story could be read as a standalone since in the beginning it explains what happened to make Blake so upset in the first book.
This story is about Blake and Caroline and is told from duel point of views. I really like this kind of storytelling because it lets you feel what each person is thinking.
Caroline is Aric’s sister, and Blake was his friend. Aric did some things in book one that is tearing Blake’s family apart. Caroline has some issues going on in her own life and comes home from college.
I loved seeing everything Caroline and Blake went through and how they came out in the end.
I can’t wait for Royals’ story!

An inspiring romance and the first MUST READ recommendation of 2020!
CRAVE YOUR MERCY, the newest high school bully romance from author Lane Hart is an exceptional read. It is absolutely inspirational because it is more about the ability of one Mercy Prep. student’s ability to rise above and hold on when he is bullied by life. The people around him walk away and life as he’s known it changes forever. For all of his life, Blake Sullivan has been the center. An only child of wealthy parents and one part of the three amigos who rule the school, Blake is looking forward to his senior year. With all of the angst, confusion, and choices that are normal for any high school senior, the complexities of Blake’s story also add a whole host of decisions that Blake must face, alone. In September, Blake finds out that his best friend is no friend at all. His father sends his mother packing and begins a very public divorce. Then to top that off, the woman, who was his very memorable first, calls to say she’s pregnant. And the cherry on top of that explosion is his father’s absence, except for the rare occasions when he comes home too drunk to make it past the front room couch! It is easy to understand why Blake is dreading whatever might come next. However, the reader should not because what comes next is more of this wonderful story! Trust me when I say romance readers will not want to miss a minute of the details leading up to that phone call, nor skip a moment of what comes after it. Suffice it to say that although Blake and Caroline have a road with more than the usual decisions, speedbumps, and detours, for most of their peers, it is a road full of romance, a building friendship, and circumstances which mature them more quickly than most. I absolutely loved this story by author Lane Hart. It is well written with the author revealing angst, events, and actions similar to what one might expect to see when reading a suspense-filled mystery. As a result, the characters evolve yet stay true to their characterizations. In addition, the plotline twists, though often complex and emotional, are frequently unexpected/without foreshadowing yet are totally believable! I volunteered to read a copy of CRAVE YOUR MERCY, and I am so very glad I did! This is my voluntary and HONEST 5+STAR review! While CRAVE YOUR MERCY is only the second in a series of at least three standalone bully romance novels about Mercy Preparatory High School, it is my favorite and most definitely for mature audiences, only (those 18 years or older). CRAVE YOUR MERCY is going in the FAVORITES collection on my Kindle! I STRONGLY suggest that you purchase your copy of CRAVE YOUR MERCY today! Happy pages!
When misunderstandings go awry Blake vows to get even which is the cusp if this story. Blake has crushed on Caroline for a long time will their relationship suffer because of Aric? This story grabs you from start to finish and you won’t put it down until its conclusion.

I have been waiting for Blake’s story ever since I finished Beg for Mercy. I really enjoyed Blake and Caroline’s story. I liked seeing the characters mature and come into their own after the obstacles they faced in their relationship. A great read! I can’t wait for Royal’s story!!!

This is the 2nd book in the Mercy Academy series and tells the story of Blake and Caroline.
It is so well written and I was so absorbed from the start. My emotions were all over the place throughout this book and I was sobbing towards the end.
Brilliant storyline and fantastic characters.
I can’t wait for Royal and Hannah’s story in the next book.
Wow! Crave Your Mercy is just as good as Beg For Mercy!!
This book has so many emotional highs and lows. While we do get to see Aric and Maddi again, we also get to see the fallout of the events from Beg For Mercy, but this is Blake and Caroline’s (Aric’s sister) story. Lane Hart had me glued to this book since the first page. I laughed and cried. Can’t wait for book 3!!
This is book #2 of this amazing series and I couldn’t wait to dive in. This is Blake & Caroline’s story and what a story it is. Boy, what delicious drama. Ten awesome stars!
Book two in the Mercy Academy series. Can be read and enjoyed as stand-alone. Full length told in dual POV with a HEA. This is a high school romance with drama. Each book is about a different bully from Mercy Academy and the secondary characters are the same throughout the series. Blake has always lusted after his best friend’s older sister Caroline. Caroline is struggling in her first semester at college, and things don’t get better for her when she goes home for a weekend. It was hard to like Caroline at first, but you can also see why she behaves as she does. Blake is someone you feel sorry for, he is in a bad situation. I was really wanting him to get his HEA, I just wish it didn’t take so long to get there – I wanted more happy times! Lots of family interference and angst, but I still loved it!
Crave Your Mercy by L.A. Hart a five-star read that will leave you craving more. This is number two in the Mercy Academy series and they flow from one to the next and number three can’t come soon enough as they just get better and better. I read this in one sitting, I was still reading at 3am and knew I could drop off until I knew how it ended. This story had me smiling, it had me crying (not the cute crying, but the ugly sobbing) and it warmed my cold dark heart in ways I couldn’t imagine. This is a great story and I came around with Caroline at times I didn’t like her, but when you understand where she is coming from you know why she is like she is and you start to adore her and not only because of the description of her hotness in the cheerleading uniform.
Blake, Aric and Royal were best friends but then it was found out that Aric was messing around with Blake’s mother so his parents were getting divorced. Then Royal set up Caroline and Blake on his birthday when they were seniors, then sent Aric a text that Blake wanted see him so he would see that Blake was having sex with his sister to make them hate each other more. But then Caroline ended up pregnant and decided to give up the baby. But after the problems they had with his father and her parents were resolved they kept the baby and stayed together.
Crave Your Mercy is such a sweet read. Filled with misunderstandings and sooooo much angsty romance you just can’t help but fall in love with Blake, Caroline, Aric, Maddie and the rest of the hang. There’s one thing after another and I spent most of my time wondering how these kids were ever come out of it. An enjoyable read all the way around.
