They say in order to find yourself you have to go home.
What if home was what you were running from?
Where did that leave you?
Always on the other side of the fence.
Always looking in.
Always wishing you were someone you couldn’t be.
Until one day you meet her.
The one.
She was my high, but she was also…
My demise.
STANDALONE within a series. This is a Full Length Novel.
Personally, I thought this was a very slow read…only to end with a cliffhanger. Normally that would make me want to go on to the next book. However, given the slowness of it, I decided to pass and move on.
A standing ovation to this writer for touching a subject that is so taboo. This should be a must read for all people and their families who suffer addictions. I have never written a review on any of the books I have read but this one really touch me deep. I have two friends who passed and the questions has always been what did we do/didn’t do. This book help me see another side of that. Thank you again and good luck. To following the 2 main characters was truly heartfelt.
Loved this whole series! Anything by her is amazing!!
To in their own heads for me!
I love this series and have read all of the books. I highly recommend purchasing
I got to say, this book was very well written and entertaining, but was a total downer! Seriously need to be in the right mood for this book. It is not up beat or happy really at all. Kind of a dark romance I guess. They aren’t abusive to each other but it’s not a happy book. Just saying.
This book was so intense. I couldn’t put it down. The writer made you truly feel part of the characters. I loved it.
Such an amazing book!
Wow! Im Hooked
Loved Austin and Brigg’s story
A consuming love that can either destroy you or make you stronger, this book deals with addiction. Addicted to one another and Austins other addiction that he cannot break.
This story is told in dual povs you really are thrust into the thought’s and feelings of each character, you are taken from right where it all began in Austin and Daisy’s childhood to present day.
Austin is part of the good ol boys he has a close relationship to his friends who were all great characters and due to an accident and not being able to rid himself of guilt and blame he left his home, his life and his friends. Austin met Briggs and it was love desire, lust at first sight from there it was a journey that had more ups and downs than he had ever previously experienced even in the life he ran away from.
Daisy or Briggs, she now called herself lived with her uncle, a crime lord a gangster she was never shown the love she craved and her backstory was sad. A strong character with backbone and determination to carry on and so destined to be with someone like Austin, it was insta love. Austin became the love she craved her addiction if only he could of let go of his own.
Briggs: We were destined. Whether we wanted to be or not. It was fate. We were fate.
Briggs: Since the death of my parents Austin was the first place I ever called home. He was also the first person to ever destroy it.
Love was blinding and at times cruel. You only saw what you wanted to see. , what you so desperately desired. Only picturing the good, never the bad.
A moving story a gripping plot that took you on a rollercoaster ride of feelings and emotions for each of the characters. A story that deals with drug abuse and addiction.
Brilliantly written by M.Robinson leaving you wanting more and more I am definitely craving.
Read as a stand-alone and although there are books about the other characters you weren’t left feeling like you had missed something, they didn’t interconnect but I would definitely read their story’s.
I Would also love Alejandro Martinez’s story can’t wait for more from this series.
Epic soul crushing yet gratifying
Every book in this series gets better and better !! This one was no exception . So much angst so many deep dark secrets and lies . Addiction , temptation , and a very hard road to salvation .
Austin and Briggs are both broken when they find each other , and find hope and comfort within their friendship and ultimately their love .
But in the grip of addiction love is not enough .
This is a story that captures the reality of addiction and it’s consequences and it’s tragic . But there’s always hope .
I was captivated from start to finish !!
This book can be read as a stand-alone but I’d recommend reading the entire series in order to capture the full picture and depth of the story .
Briggs known as Daisy has been through hell and back. The struggles in her life seamed so real in here. You just get pulled in to her life. Austin is was a little weak in this character. I could feel his struggles too but the drugs was just a addiction not for pain….
Austin has to be the deepest out of the bunch. He’s always been a little different than the rest of the good ole boys. He broke my heart so many times with his addiction and struggles. I wanted him to get better, these feelings were pulled from me again and again. At the same time I wanted Briggs to leave him so she quit being broken again and again
It was such a rollercoaster read and just needed the tissues again; I just knew I was going to cry again. The author can write a story that just gets you to your knees. It just gave me all the feels and that’s when you know that it’ll be an amazing read, a up-and-down joyride! I loved the chemistry between Austin and Briggs from beginning until end. That instant love but one that can bring you down.
When drugs or even other things are involved, it’ll only be hitting rock bottom, to be able for someone to rise again… This story gave you so much; you cannot help but read to know how the story ends… but that ending I didn’t see coming…
Definitely a 5-star read for me!
Wow! 5 Heartbreakingly addicting stars. This jaw dropping, angst filled, and soul searching journey between Austin and Briggs is a roller coaster ride with sexy, and sweet turns and then haunting and complicated drops. A love story that deals with fighting your inner demons and learning to truly love yourself. Best one of the Good Ol’ Boys series. Highly recommend reading this.
This was my first time reading M. Robinson and it won’t be my last. This book had my feelings all over the place. The angst, the heartbreak, the ups ,the downs and the highs and lows. This book hit the hammer on the nail when it comes to drug addiction. It shows how addiction can happen from simplest ways. Addiction is such a ugly disease which doesn’t get enough spotlight. I’m glad Robinson wrote a book about this topic. Austin was a typical addict who could “quit when he wanted”. Several times I wanted to shake and yell at Austin to get his act together. Once things seemed okay there was another setback. This book was spot on when it comes to living with an addict. You never know what will happen. Briggs also had a role in Austin’s addiction as an enabler. This book also shows how addiction doesn’t just affect the addict but how it affects all the people that love them. Be prepared for a bumpy ride when you read this book but trust me you will not be disappointed! This book will stay with me a long time. Well done M. Robinson!!
Again this follows on from book three which once again finished on a massive cliff hanger, which had me shouting at my kindle in despair! This is the story I was looking forward to the most; Austin’s story. We always knew that Austin was troubled and his relationship with Lucas was rocky to say the least. Here we get to find out why.
In the previous three books, we don’t really hear much about Austin, the youngest of The Good Ol’ Boys. As you know from previously Austin became involved with drugs following the car accident that nearly killed him and Alex. He joined the other three boys at University but it soon becomes obvious that he doesn’t want to be there and he dropped out. He meets a Briggs, a girl with a sorry tale of her own. She works as a drug seller for her uncle, Martinez. The pair are instantly attracted to each other and sets Austin’s life spiralling out of control in to a world of drugs…
This book completes the missing years of Austin’s tragic life as he battle with drugs. It was never going to be a pretty story. It never is where drugs are involved. This was gritty, full of anguish, drama, heart break and emotion. I felt Briggs despair as she constantly battled with Austin and his drug usage “You’re addicted to drugs, Austin. And I’m addicted to you. And our love is just as fucking toxic.” This book takes you on a roller coaster journey completely ripped me in two, put me back together and tore me apart again!
Crave Me is a gripping tortured love story. I Can’t recommend this series highly enough. Whilst they are advertised as being a stand alone, I would strongly recommend reading them all in order as the time frames do cross over as the characters lives intertwine.
This the final book of the Ol’ Boys is the story of Austin and Brigss. We met them before on the first books of The Good Ol’ Boys and now we finally get to meet their story..
Austin was the smallest one of the Ol’s Boys in age and even in size, he always felt left out, like he was not important for anything in his family or even with his friends.. the Ol’ boys always made him aside without even noticing.. but with time Austin started to separate himself from the group.. he isolates himself more and more trying to find his own identity.. everything got worst when Austin had a terrible accident that put his life and Half-Pint in danger.. nothing will ever be the same for him.. and it’s a matter of time for him to disappear and run away from reality and life..
“I never felt accepted, I never felt good enough, and that’s what killed me the most. That’s what ate away at me, piece by piece.”
Briggs, I first met Daisy at “El Diablo” she was a very isolated kid, she was forced to live with her uncle at a very young age, who didn’t show her any kind of love or affection. she was desperate to feel that she belonged or that she had a family but life an circumstances didn’t give her what she wanted.. the only things she got was coldness, solitude and a lot of life experiences that were not suited for a kid.. tired of all this she reveals her self and tries to find her own identity not before meeting the love of her life ..
“Learning to love yourself is one of the hardest things for a person to do. Especially for the first time in their life.”
Austin and Briggs’s story was different from all the Ol’ Boys but yet also very similar. Austin was trying to find his identity, aside from the shadow of his friends and family.. he was also fighting an old back pain, that he got a few years ago while being in a terrible car accident.. Painkillers and drugs were luring all the time around his life, making him unable to see he was losing everything and everybody who matters in his life..
“Loving an addict was like being on a roller coaster with no seat belt on. You had no idea when it was going to turn. You’re just confused, disoriented, fearful, praying… All you could do was hang on for dear life and hope that it didn’t kill you.”
Briggs was a very nice a heroine, she was very strong and very bold, never letting anyone step over here, including Austin.. she was the only one who had the key to make things work between Austin and her, she was his only hope, the only one who “knew” what was really going on with his life and mind… she had a good heart and she will do anything to make things right again.. even if she has to come face to face with her uncle.. Alejandro Martinez aka “El Diablo”
“The day you walked into my life I started living again. You gave me a reason to start living again instead of just surviving.”
Austin and Briggs fought hard for their love, so many twists and turns happened before they finally could realize all the mistakes and wrong decisions they’ve made.. Austin is trying so hard to be the man Briggs needs but only to forget himself into drugs and painkillers.. he was supposed to be the boss, to not use his own merchandise but at the end, the addiction was stronger than his will, always blinding his conscious, making him forget about love and the rest of the world.. making Briggs doubt about all..
“I’m sorry, baby. I know you hate those words, but I’m so sorry for everything I put you through. I put us through. I ruined us when all you did was try to save us. Losing you will be my biggest regret in life. I love you so much, and I need you to please never ever forget that. Please…”
I really love how Briggs was very strong when it came to Austin, how she always tried to show him his strength and his qualities.. in some way I feel like she is the one who pushed him to see how great he was at sketching and why he should take that as an accomplishment and maybe use it as a way of work.. I love how she was always the one who sees Austin potential, never doubting him as the rest did..
“I will never let you feel alone again. Nothing can take me away from you. I swear to you. You’re my home, Daisy. You’ve always been my home, my heart, and my soul. I didn’t start living until I met you.”
Austin and Briggs Love was very beautiful, they were very close and connected to each other, making them always feel like they knew each other from a very long time, like this was not the first time they met, like their soul were meant to be together .. like they were Soulmates travelling from one life to another…
This was a great conclusion of the Series. I really love how everything connects at the end with the rest of the characters.. we get to see Half-Pint, Lucas, Dylan, Jacob, Aubrey and all the other great characters that made this series so mind blowing..
Really looking forward to reading more books by M.Robinson .. Especially Lost Boy!!!
I give Crave Me 4.5 stars. This is my first read by M. Robinson and it won’t be my last! It started off a little slow but once it kicked in OMG!! Absolutely loved the characters! Briggs just had that huge heart and Austin always meant well.
This story took me on a roller coaster ride and was intense the whole way through. My heart was ripped out and glued back together so many times.
Austin was the youngest of the clan growing up. His family and friends never took him serious. So he just goes along in life until an accident happens that changes his life forever. Fighting a addiction that he fights through his adult life. His one and only dream he had was to go to art school. But his parents didn’t agree. He decided to leave his friends and family behind. After moving away he meets Briggs, the love of his life.
After seeing her parents die in a tragic accident. Briggs just wants to be loved and have a family. Her Uncle takes her in after the loss of her parents, but does not give her what she needs. When she thinks she will never get the love she meets Austin.
Will their love withstand all of the tragic secrets?
Crave me can be read as a Standalone. I can’t wait to read more by M.Robinson
Crave Me is the fourth book in the Good Ol’ Boys series! Please do yourself a favor and start from the beginning to get the full effect of this amazing cast of characters!
I am so honored to have been on their journey from the beginning as a beta reader.
I have been impatiently waiting for Austin’s story and was blown away by him and his tale to tell!
Austin is a young, handsome, talented young man that has always had the sinking feeling that he just does not fit in. He has thoughts, dreams, creativity and desires but somewhere along his journey an unfortunate chain of events is put into play. The downplay of his hidden talent is the catalyst on this journey and the beginning of the self doubt that begins to brew within him. How do you numb that pain that is buried deep within you. You look to people, places and substances to take that deep rooted feeling away. Austin crosses the paths of so many people on his journey but only one leaves a lasting impression that he can not deny!
Briggs appears in Austin’s life like a bolt of lightening. The instantaneous pull and attraction not only catches both of them off guard but scares Briggs so much that her answer is to quickly flee his grasp. Briggs has carried a burden of heartache and grief on her shoulders most of her life. She has suffered such a tragedy that it has instilled her with false believes in the world around her. Don’t love or get to close or that too will be taken from you. She has become a product of her environment and is has hardened her heart and given her the walls around her. The moment that Austin and Briggs meet it is as if the worlds have aligned but that is too much for her to handle. Fortunately fate has a way of intervening and takes that running girl and stops her dead in her tracks.
The journey of Austin and Briggs is far from your classic love story. It will leave you in pieces. The characters have true depth and so vivid that you the reader feel as though you are there with them.
I fell hard for them but be warned they will leave your heart in pieces that may be beyond repair.

I enjoyed the previous books in the series and this book was no different. I started the series a few days ago and I couldn’t wait to read what was going on with Austin. I kept wondering what took him down the dark path, what led him to the rabbit hole. Austin and Briggs(Daisy) story was definitely darker than the pervious books in the series but still just as great. There were things Briggs did that I didn’t agree and this book definitely touches on matters that may be sensitive to many, so beware. This book is a standalone but it definitely leaves you wanting more of the next book in this series. If you’ve read this book or previous books, you know that every couple gets their ending but characters are introduced in the story and the next book gives your their standalone story. This author definitely knows how to end a book leaving you wanting the next standalone.
