Instant New York Times Bestselling Series An Amazon “Best YA Book of 2020” Glitter Magazine’s #1 Pick for “Best YA of 2020” Optioned for Film by Universal My whole world changed when I stepped inside the academy. Nothing is right about this place or the other students in it. Here I am, a mere mortal among gods…or monsters. I still can’t decide which of these warring factions I belong to, if I … of these warring factions I belong to, if I belong at all. I only know the one thing that unites them is their hatred of me.
Then there’s Jaxon Vega. A vampire with deadly secrets who hasn’t felt anything for a hundred years. But there’s something about him that calls to me, something broken in him that somehow fits with what’s broken in me.
Which could spell death for us all.
Because Jaxon walled himself off for a reason. And now someone wants to wake a sleeping monster, and I’m wondering if I was brought here intentionally–as the bait.

Crave by Tracy Wolff is one of the most original and exciting books I have read in a while. I love that it is a young adult book that is supernatural. Spells, magic, and hormones equal big trouble, especially considering its a boarding school with a bunch of teenage supernatural creatures under one roof.
Will Grace find a new normal at this boarding school?
Grace
Grace is our point-of-view character. She is only seventeen years old and lost a lot in her short life. What she lost earlier, she gained the opportunity to be with a family that she hasn’t seen in a while. Grace is pretty smart even though it takes her a bit to get what is going on at the school. She ends up having a lot of fun, after what has been happening to her after she arrived.
What I like about her is that yes, she is only human, but she does try to fit in and figure out what is going on. She is an avid reader and loves to research the different magical creatures that she is going to school with, and boy, are there a lot of those to research.
Jaxon
Jaxon is Grace’s love interest in the story. He tries to only be with her in the shadows, but that isn’t working out for him. Seeing as how he is a vampire and Jaxon wants to spend more time with her even if doing that puts her into danger. Jaxon is a big mystery to Grace as she doesn’t get a lot about him. We only see Jaxon through Grace’s eyes, but he, along with the other side characters, have such prominent personalities that they show through when Grace is talking.
What I like about Jaxon is that he has a generous heart, and he wants to protect Grace even though he has no clue what the threat is on her life. He is a big softie, and I like how Grace can peel back his defenses to get to know the real him.
Five Stars
Crave by Tracy Wolff is a book that I thoroughly engaged in while I was reading it. I loved it from the moment I saw the novel in the mail. I am giving this book a five-star rating and recommending it to anyone that reads young adult. It was a fantastic book, and I can’t wait for the next one to come out.

A thrilling, entrancing new read that’ll leave you craving more! I loved the charm and mystery of the story and the magnetic chemistry between the main characters. The academy setting and mix of students provided an interesting backdrop and I absolutely loved Macy’s character. The story starts slow and I had to push through several chapters, but once Grace reached the academy and more characters were introduced, it picked right up. I did have some Twilight vibes but found the relationship and story within Crave more positive and likeable. The silly, cheesy jokes were one of my favorite parts and I found them delightfully entertaining. Wolff has a natural humor and easiness in her writing and conveys the characters’ emotional experiences to the reader expertly. I felt their emotions firsthand which made for a deeper reading experience for me. The ending was full of excitement, tension, and twists and I can’t wait for more! If you love vampires and/or academy settings, I recommend giving this a try.

Guys. You guys. I’m in love with this book. That’s it, end of story. Alright so here’s the tea on me and vampires. Love them. Love Twilight so freaking much. My favorite YA series of all time is Bloodlines by Richelle Mead. I love vampires. So this book was like a freaking dream come true.
It’s like Twilight, but so much more funny and fun. And it never takes itself too seriously. It’s just phenomenal. After the disaster that was The Beautiful, I needed an amazing vampire book. It was everything I wanted it to be.
The story revolves around Grace who has lost her parents and ends up in rural Alaska at a fancy fancy boarding school. Her uncle is in charge and her cousin is a student. But she arrives and finds that everyone already hates her. She has no idea why. This story is a mystery wrapped in a tension filled and adorable romance.
Jaxon is swoon worthy. Grace is quirky and funny and so so tough. I absolutely love them together. And when Grace eventually figures out “what” she is. It kind of blew my mind. There’s vampires, dragons, witches, and Grace’s big secret. It was just what I needed during these crazy times! Grace your copy on April 7th.
