Wow, This was A stressful, fast paced, full on – start to finish – Pulse pounding read!!!
The high energy took us through Addie’s vile & evil torture. Xander, Kaden & Demitri’s near breakdown’s & anger fuelled rants. Poor Rose & Logans spiralling fear for their friend, all the way to the Werewolves determination to rescue ‘The Reborn’ no matter the cost because the alternative is just too dire to consider!! There is also blossoming love on the horizon, phew, I needed some good news
A highly enjoyable read although I would recommend a nice calming drink or two throughout 4.5 Stars from me

Crash picks up where book one, Descent ended, and is not a standalone.
Once again, Sloane Murphy has done an amazing job of characterization. Addie is an amazing and strong young woman being faced with the unthinkable in this book and fights to maintain her true self. Aeveen is an unexpected twist and an interesting character fighting to understand who she is and where she fits in the world.
Brothers Xander and Kaden must put aside their differences to fight for the woman they have both fallen in love with, against not only the evil forces that have taken her, but her other half as well.
Crash is a thrilling ride with lots of adventure and unexpected plot twists and turns. I can’t wait to see what happens next in Soar!
Crash is book two in Sloane Murphy’s The Immortal Chronicles series. This book continues on from were book one Descent ends.

After being taken from her home, by the last person she thought would betray her. Addie is now a captive to Cole her father. WTF! Now she must fight to survive and make it out alive.
This book was so full on, so much is going on there is never a dull moment. In this book we get to experience so many different pov by the people that care for Addie. We also get some insight to who or what Addie really is and we find out more about Cole and what he plans to do with Addie.
I did enjoy this book and was hooked from the beginning, I did read this in one sitting. But I do have to say one thing, WHY? Why Sloane did you have to destroy me like you did with that ending? It can’t be over, it just can’t, I refuse to believe it. I am seriously powering through this review so I can move on to Soar as I need to know what’s going to happen. But I’m telling you if it really is over I’m out… I can’t believe it.
This is book 2 in this tale and I’m left hanging again just when my heart was racing….
This is mainly Adelaide (Addie’s) story, where is she? Who is she really? Will she survive? and WHAT is she? Torture, murder, kidnapping and betrayal make for an intense story. A great YA paranormal tale and I highly recommend it, but read book 1 first.
I love this series! Sloan Murphy was a new to me author when I received a copy of Descent (Book #1 of the series) as a blind date book! I was hooked then! You should read Descent first so you know what is going on. This book starts right where the last ended. This would be a good read for anyone who likes YA paranormal, yes there is romance involved but nothing too bad 🙂 I’d say this is suitable for anyone 15+. I can not wait to read the 3rd one!
