This is not a traditional romance, but a dark love story with a twist that will leave you wanting more. The greatest love stories begin with blood… woods. He has no name. Or none he will tell me.
As snow creeps across the harsh and isolated landscape, he is my only company. My protector, my caretaker. A fascinating enigma, with mysterious eyes, gentle hands, and a rough voice that demands more from me than I ever expected to give. I make up different stories, different names for him depending on his mood, because I know nothing about him except that he is my only connection to the real world I want to return to. So I work to please him, plotting my escape, yet all the while I start to crave him and every touch of his dominating body.
He has saved me from the cold. From death. But in taking me and my body, will he destroy me?

We should be clear, this story is about obsession, possession, domination, manipulation and even brainwashing. I guess I didn’t find it very romantic. A young woman who is mentally unstable (due to having a sociopath for a mother), is rescued from a plane crash by another sociopath—or perhaps he is a psychopath straight up. Hard to say. They become obsessed with each other and their chosen roles of controller and the one who obeys. There is a rather disgusting and shocking end to the story. No one in the book finds real happiness, unless you count being criminally insane as being happy. I really wish I had not read this book.
Interesting but twisted.
This book is intense, the mood almost anxiety-provoking. Are the main characters good, sympathetic? Or, are they deeply disturbed? Or both? I am now eyeballs- deep into the second book, and it is wrenching, too. Wine might be a good idea.
Good book, plot is suspenseful and keeps you guessing. I don’t like that books 2&3 are super short but very pricey. I’d like to finish the story but not worth the cost.
Such a bizarre relationship the leads have. I wasn’t sure if she suffered from Stockholm Syndrome or if she was as unpredictable as the male lead. Ends in a cliffhanger.
The book was interesting and absorbing until the ending….The ending was soooo bad. It turned the characters into simple psychos.
Great book. But didn’t get all the answers
This book starts as one thing and then hauntingly turns into another. It was very unpredictable as far as the story line, but it made it interesting. I didn’t give it 5 stars only because the beginning started out so good and then when the twist happened it really flung me for a loop and I wasn’t really ready for it. However upon finishing this book I immediately read the two that followed. I was definitely a page turner. Be prepared for a very Dark story, all the way to the very last word of the third book (which I highly recommend).
Thrilling, heart pounding, needing to know what happens next kind of read. I wasn’t sure what I was getting into when I picked this book up. At times I was a little freaked out, but there was an underlying excitement the more I read. I was only 36% of the way through when I went and one-clicked books two and three.
Crashed is edgy, different from what I’ve read in the past, and addicting.
A woman stranded with a stranger with no name.
Sounds scary and it kind of is, but maybe this woman can find herself in the process.
The beginning of this book had me wanting to read more but unfortunately along the way I lost interest in the story. I just could not connect with the characters and this story wasn’t what I thought it was going to be. I found some parts of it ridiculous at times and as much as I was hoping to enjoy this read, it just didn’t work for me.
Very dark in a lazy way. Both characters were hard to like. The abuse was sloppy and short. Why go dark without making it sensual or worthwhile?
Ok…I bought the series as I wanted to see how it ended. I’m still bothered by it all.
Michael seemed to be the most likable character.
I will not read again.
The twisted characters were scary and well developed. The narrative pulled you into the world of psychopaths beyond what was comfortable. So well done you won’t be able to put it down until you read all three in the series. My compliments to Drew Jordan + a thank you.
Amazing story. Great characters with a twisted plot. Reading the second book now
This book is riveting and a page turner. The male character is up front but very, very mysterious. His dominants is suttle yet strong. You can’t help but wish for more. A quick read leaving you wanting more.
Read all three books in 5 days
Very dark, but steamy.
I like how this author builds the characters. A little info about them at a time. Enjoying my nightly reads!
Great read!
The ending was a complete surprise.
Eh…just eh.
