Best friends Chloe LaRue and EV Torrence already have their hands full attempting to thwart a blackmailer set on sabotaging their beloved community, not to mention worrying about their increasingly complicated romantic relationships. Now, with the entire town believing a Bigfoot has taken up residence nearby—and with items mysteriously disappearing in the night—there’s no doubt Chloe and EV will … and EV will figure out what’s lurking in the woods and hatch a plan to save Ponderosa Pines.
But will either of them be able to let a man inside her heart?

I wish that there were better ways of rating a book. I gave this 5 stars based on the fact that I’d enjoy reading more stories about this little community in a year or so, and that I likely will even enjoy reading it a second time, in the future. But in my personal book list, it is marked as being among my favorite minor mysteries as opposed to being an All Ways Great favorite. The mystery itself is of minor importance, but the people solving it are fun to rub shoulders with, and it felt for a couple of days as though I was enjoying a short time with some dear people, and I’ll enjoy visiting them again in the future. It explored the main characters, as well as the small town it occurs in, with a cozy depth.
Quick read. Kept your interest.
Light easy reading.
Easy read took awhile to figure out the killer
I thought this book was great. The characters are witty and very likeable. It was a very unusual town and I loved their way of getting rid of the “yeti/Bigfoot” hunters. This was a great way to spend the afternoon. It was fast paced and I didn’t want to put it down once it got going.
Loved this book!
I laughed out loud from the very start of this book. Fun story, great characters. I want to be EV!
I did not finish he book. It was rather dull.
Enchanting and fun read
Fun to read. Enjoyed it.
It was an easy book to read and it was entertaining.
Really good cozy series with great characters
A fun, fairly quick, relaxed – not cozy – read ideal for summer. Even though their story timeline was in the fall. Still could have spent more time with an editor ironing out a few grammatical errors, not so many it was made impossible to enjoy.
