It takes a lot to impress a Dalton girl.Family feud or deep, dark secret? Jessamine Dalton is determined to uncover the reason why one branch of the family tree broke off and headed north to Colorado decades ago. Hitting the road to visit their distant relations seems perfect—she’ll get away from her interfering sisters, and making a proper family tree will double as a Christmas gift for the … gift for the entire Dalton clan, right? Trouble is, Jessamine’s expected back in time for the festivities… and well, Colorado winters are unpredictable.
Holidays always depress Jake Strahan. While everybody else on the Blackburn Ranch enjoys Christmas cheer, he’s in the barn with the horses who understand him best. So when his fellow ranch hand Gracie asks a huge favor of him—to travel to Colorado and bring her sister home in time for Christmas Eve—he figures why not? He’s got nothin’ better to do.
Now that Jessamine finds herself trapped in the very tight confines of Jake’s truck, she’s got too much time to study the quiet, rugged man. And Jake knows a spirited filly when he sees one and knows better than to try to break her. But maybe it’s the magical snow falling that has him thinking things that are far too sweet for a rough man like him. And maybe Jessamine isn’t really looking back at him with twinkle lights in her eyes.

Until next time… Happy Reading!
1:Hate IT! Didn’t finish; usually only given if/when some contents truly objectionable (i.e. main characters does something awful & gets away w/it!)
2:Don’t like IT! Rating means I felt the writing was poor, editing was bad, I don’t care for characters, or book had some major flaw.
3: I like IT, BUT! There are minor issues… Rating means there’s editing issues, needs character development, is too unrealistic, or has issues– I do not consider it an overall bad rating.
4:I like IT a lot. Great, Solid Story w/ few if any inconsistencies or errors. This is a HIGH Rating, & I rarely give OUT a Higher Rating.
5: I LOVE IT! It’s Spectacular, & I’ll read IT Over & Over Again. Few books Receive this rating from me. HowEver, those that DO become Classics.
I have loved these Daltons from day one and more and more just keep popping up. Truly enjoy reading a female Dalton, just as fierce as a male, in a feminine way. The eyes speak volumes, lol, and Jake fell head over heels for Jessamine from the 1st time he saw her. It was much the same for Jessamine, but neither really talked about those feelings. They let their bodies do the talking and hooboy, that was hot.
A good romance with low drama, the importance of family and their HEA.
I didn’t connect with these two characters as much as I like to and usually do, it seemed like I stepped back about 100 years. The dialogues for me, seemed too hickish or old fashioned, maybe stilted, and didn’t flow. I missed some depth here. The use of the word fix for fixin’ to, just hit me wrong, so just minor things that kept me from a five star on this.
I did so enjoy the family tree discovery and look forward to more Daltons’ journeys. Some mystery and intrigue is an excellent add for me. Makes me wonder more about Jake too, very light on his background
A great Cowboy Christmas romance!
Jessamine wants a break from her family for the holidays and uses a family mystery to visit the family who branched off decades ago. But when her family realizes she might not get home for Christmas, her sister sends the one man who turns her head, Jake, off to bring her home. Jake has always been a drifter, working for a ranch for a while as a horse trainer and ranch hand, then moving on to a new ranch. But once he meets Jessamine and spends time with her, he begins to wonder if maybe it’s time to finally settle down.
This is the eleventh book out of The Dalton Boys series and it is so good! I really enjoy reading about the Dalton family and how connected they are. As with the rest of them, it really needs to be read in the order it was written because each book builds on from the last one.

Jessamine is trying to understand what happened to the Dalton family when they split and some moved to Colorado. What she does is she makes plans to go to the other side of the family and try to find out. When she tells her family, they are upset that she’s going to miss the days before Christmas holidays, when her sisters get together and bake, shop, and have a wonderful time. Jessamine just wants to get away for a change to have a vacation.
Jake is asked by Gracie, Jessamine’s sister to go to Colorado and bring her back in time for Christmas. Jake has known for years that he really likes Jessamine, but he doesn’t know how she feels.
Will Jake be able to tame Jessamine??? She has so much spirit that he doesn’t want to break her.
Will Jessamine be able to understand and get Jake to settle down???
This is my honest opinion and I can’t wait to read the next book. Great writing Ms. Petrova.

Jessamine is a woman on a mission who needs to get to the bottom of a family secret.
I really liked her character. Even though she wanted to get away from her family around the holidays, she needed to find out what had happen to split the family so. I loved that she took the initiative to go to the other family and find out what happened. I will admit sometimes her stubbornness got to me like needing to see the other family right around Christmas and not accepting Colorado winters. However, I begun to understand after all the phone calls and texts demanding her to come home and partake in the festivities. It seemed a little excessive.
I liked Jake from the first time I met him. There was something very solid about this man and also a little lonely. He was so sure he was happy not participating in family events but yet he just needed to admit to himself that he wasn’t.
I loved reading about these two circling each other and trying to fight the chemistry. Jessamine should have clued in a little quicker. I mean, how adorable was Jake with her dog? I can’t imagine him doing what he did with the dog, if he wasn’t already half in love with its owner.
I have never read a book by Em Petrova before in the series The Dalton Boys, but I don’t believe it was necessary to read this book.
Jasmine wants to know what caused part of her family to separate from the rest and travels to Colorado. But with Christmas around the corner, her family tries to convince her to come home. The ranch helper, Jake, is asked to pick her up in his truck. When he’s close to Jasmine he wonders if his life choices were the right ones or if they were all focused on finding her?
Jake himself doesn’t like Christmas much, but Jasmine changes that. A good-feeling romance with a Christmas message.
However, the mystery surrounding the family has not yet been unraveled. Maybe in a later installment of the Dalton Boys?

Another terrific Dalton story which features the fabulous Jessamine. She’s on a mission to find out family secrets and heal her family. What she finds is the hunk Jake. Lucky her! Not only does she find a sexy cowboy but also his stellar dog. Nothing hotter than a man and his four legged sidekick. I love the dance between these two as Jess tries to ignore the hot chemistry between the them. It’s a losing battle and soon the sparks are flying. Loved it!

This was a wonderful read. I so enjoyed it. I have LOVED all of the Dalton series and this one was no different. The book was one that thoroughly enchanted me right from the beginning. I didn’t want to put my e-reader down. The plot flowed nicely and I could really picture the scenes as if it were a movie playing in my mind.
Jessamine Dalton goes to Colorado to see why the Colorado branch of the family left Texas. Was there a rift in the family? If so, what was it? Jessamine flies to Colorado and enjoys her time with the family. She does think about a certain cowboy back home that works with her sister Gracie on the Blackburn ranch. Jake Strahan, is a drifter with a capital D. He is a top horse trainer and has enjoyed his cowboy life. He only stays in one place for a year or two. Currently he has been at the Blackburn ranch for just over 2 years. Thoughts of leaving though, are overshadowed by a dark-haired blue-eyed beauty. The Texas branch miss Jessamine, and pesters her to return for the family Christmas festivities. Gracie asks her co-worker Jake to drive to Colorado and bring her sister home.
The road to Jake and Jessamine’s HEA is one that shouldn’t be missed. I adored reading how the alpha cowboy fell for Jessamine. This book was written in my favorite dual POV format. I love reading how the characters react to any given situation (something that you just don’t get in a movie.)
There are some sexy scenes that the author is famous for. While they were just a little descriptive, they were not erotica by any means. Based on that though, I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone over the age of 18.
She needs some space and he is sent to bring her home for Christmas
Cowgirl Miracle is the first book I have read in The Dalton Boys series by Em Petrova. I found I was able to follow the story and did not have too much of an issue with not having read any of the other books in this series. This is a sweet and saucy Christmas story that did not have nearly as much drama as I was expecting, which was nice. It is not only a nice romance but also a story about family and how we can deal with them………….sometimes by escaping!!!
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Nice , sweet romance with some heat was a quick read.
Love the romance part not so sure about the really bossy Texas Family.
If Jessamine wants to visit Colorado branch of her family and spend time there it’s her choice.
When her sister Grace sends Jack to bring her back ,it’s offensive. She will survive winter storm there.
Now two of them could be in danger and stranded in some motel…not they will mind second part.
True family ,crazy, loving ,noisy and bossy.
I’ll still looking to more stories about the Dalton family.

Jake has always been a drifter, going from one ranch to the next one. He meets Jessamine and he wonders if it’s time to settle down. I really enjoyed this book.
The Daltons are back!
I love this series full of family and cowboys! Jessamine’s story, centered around the holidays, was a steamy Christmas-centric romance…
Jessamine, despite the deep love she had for her family, felt stifled. Needing to get away, she was looking for even more family and she found so much more. Jake was a loner but close quarters meant time would bind them in ways that really was Christmas magic.
Strong-willed, stubborn and independent, they were made for each other and made their rocky romance a treat from start to finish with lots of Daltons as supporting casts. An emotional holiday romance you don’t want to miss.
*I happily reviewed this story
Jessamine is on a mission to discover what divided her family long ago. So she travels from Texas to visit her cousins in Colorado, not thinking about how different the winters can be between the two states. She meets Jake when her sister, Gracie sends him to get her.
I really enjoyed this book. It was well written with great characters and an interesting storyline. Jessamine and Jake were great together and had amazing chemistry. The story had intrigue, mystery and a sizzling romance.
I received an advanced readers copy of this book through Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
Jessamine goes on an adventure to find out more about her Colorado cousins and why their family split from hers years ago. In the process she and her little dog Dolly become smitten with a drifter named Jake. But will he change his ways for her? It was great to catch up with the rest of the Texas Daltons and their expanding families. I’ll be interested to read more about the Colorado Daltons and the missing one that was given up for adoption. I loved how tender Jake was with little Dolly and how she was a brat with everyone else, but listened to and loved him. This was a sexy and funny holiday romance.
This quick read is a welcome addition to this series. I loved Jessamine and Jake. Loved the banter, passion and family. I received a free copy of thi book via book sprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Another great book in the life of the Dalton’s as always Em writes a book that flows well and characters that engage you from the word go.
Jessamine Dalton wants to find out the reason that the Dalton family split years earlier and half of them moved to Colorado so she heads to the distant family branch to try to solve the secret and to maybe make a family tree for all her family members for Christmas. What she didn’t expect was to trapped by a Colorado snow storm with no flights out and her own branch of the family wanting her back for Christmas. So Jake Strahan is tasked by her sister to bring her back This cowboy drifter who deals better with horses than humans has made life on the road working with horses So why as he travels back with Jessamine does his mind travel to settling down and she plays a role in his dreaming. Do these two belong together and will they get a HEA You need to read to see
This is book eleven in the series and each are standalone reads but a series you would find interesting to follow. A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. This one about Jessamine who is working on the family tree to complete. Her journey to get the links from the families in Texas and Colorado and how Jake fits into the journey. Cannot wait to read the next book.
Another great addition to The Dalton Boys series. Jessamine and Jake were endearing characters with great chemistry. This is a sweet Christmas Romance. Jessmine was on a journey to reconnect with family and found love in the process.
