While I did enjoy this book I have to admit I wish Cassandra had made Hank work a bit to get her back after he so easily left her behind, other than that this was a super little read.
This is a Flirt Club story and it’s so exciting to have them take in a cowboy. There is just something about a cowboy that can get a girl’s heart racing and her panties melting. This story is no exception. It is a great story of Hank getting his dream but leaving something so important behind. When his dream is taken away, he realizes what he left behind and wants it back. Can he convince Cass to give him a second shot? Or will she only give him eight seconds to apologize and.move on? I highly recommend picking up these.books and reading and loving each and every one of the author’s in this group. Enjoy!

I’m afraid I didn’t really enjoy this story. It just didn’t seem realistic.
Cass has been left heartbroken by Hank when he up and left her 14 months (and change) ago. He left without looking back, he never contacted her or let her know she was no longer required. However, he has returned, and she’s determined to stay strong and keep her distance.
This all changes when his future is snatched away from him, and he realises the error of his ways. However, to me, it just seemed like she was second best, and she was stupid for even contemplating taking him back. I understand love trumps all, but he’d proved to her that he couldn’t really love her to treat her the way he did. If someone loves you, you are their everything.
Cass rolled over and let him stroke her belly way too fast for what he’d done. It gave the story no credit; it lost its sincerity.
I know it was just a short story, with only 48 pages. So, there wasn’t a lot of room to develop the story nor allow Cass the chance to come around more slowly, but I think it would have been better if she could have moved on and met someone more deserving of her!
Hank is becoming a rodeo star. He makes a promise to Cass that he’ll keep in touch on the circuit and gives her his grandmother’s ring with that promise. Then he leaves and never calls or shows up until 14 months later. And she is madder than the bull that threw him and ended his career. Read to see what happens and if she takes him back. Loved the ending! Awesome summer read!!
Giddy up!!
Flirt Club is back this month with Cowboys!! Yee haw!!
Hank and Cass were in love but then Hank made it to the Rodeo elite and the circuit. Although he made a promise to Cass he didn’t keep it. Now he’s back. He’ll need to do some big apologizing just to get Cass to even acknowledge him. Second chance at love and the HEA.
This is a great short story about Henry and Cass. Henry ignores Cass for over 14 months. He’s forced to go home, because he is injured. Good book, well written!

Fourteen months ago, he ghosted on her.
Cassandra got left behind by her bull riding boyfriend Hank, when he made it big on the rodeo. He just left and never called her (real grown up). It’s obly after he’s injured, his career is over that he wants her back. He doesn’t even do very much apologizing before it’s back in the saddle for them.
