I received this book free and I am voluntarily doing a review. The cover is absolutely sexy ,classy and had me wanting to read it right away. Joseph and kate has a rocky start to their steamy relationship. Their love story is as hot as the cover.
Ella Cooper has written a 5-star book that is about the relationship between Kate and Joseph.
Kate has been in love with Joseph for a while but he doesn’t see her that way. Joseph has a thing for Jenna but Jenna marries Christian. Things happen to Kate that makes her leave her home town. Now something has happened that makes her come back but there are still people who remember what happened before she left and still hold it against her. When she pulls up to the house that belonged to her mother, she goes inside but there is a dog in the house, there is also a man in there and when she sees him, she said what are you doing here. Kate realizes the man is Joseph and she tells him that the house is hers. He tells her that he has rented the house and they will talk about it the next day. Kate leaves and Joseph thinks that she has gone and gotten a hotel room. The next day, Morris Joseph’s dog is barking at something in a parking lot and he walks around to see what it is. He finds that Kate and her daughter in Kate’s car asleep. He gets her to unlock the doors and he picks Abby up and tells Kate she is burning up. He takes them to the hospital. Kate wakes up and she can’t find Abby and when she is told that Abby is with her Daddy, she goes crazy. She thinks that Mike has found them and is going to take Abby. Kate goes running down the hallway yelling for Mike and Abby. A nurse catches Kate and holds her until more nurses come to help. A voice says “What is going on here?” As soon as Kate hears the voice she knows who it is and stops fighting. Joseph asks the nurse what happened? She said that as soon as Kate was told that her daughter was with her daddy she went crazy. Kate is told she has to have some more rest if she wants to go home that day. Kate and Abby end up staying with Joseph and she is not happy about accepting his help. As they spend more time together the more Joseph falls for her. Things go good for them until they go to a party and she runs into some nasty women who are not forgetting what happened to her before. She leaves the party and goes to the house and is planning to leave but she has nowhere to go.
Will Kate and Joseph get together like she would like for them to?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.
I received an ARC for my voluntarily and honest review.
Omg this book was absolutely fantastic and heartbreaking all in one. I found myself in Katie’s shoes and felt bad for her. Katie grew up without her mom since she passed away when Katie was a little girl and her father raised her but never showed her any love but as she grew older the one person she loved was her best friend and saw her as a sister type. Katie was looking for love in all the wrong places and had to leave town due to a scandal .now she’s back but will Joseph still think of her as a sister type or will the scandal come back and ruin everything for her? I just couldn’t stop reading this short story and found myself wanting to stand up for katie. Ella has done it again with this book and made you feel connected to the characters and their emotions.
It seems Kate can never catch a beak in life the only silver lining is her daughter Abbey. Kate returns home to find her house let and her past still haunting her at every turn. But there was always hope with Joseph – or so she thought. can she truly give love a try with him and not feel her past is in her present.
Well written with heart wrenching and pulsing scenes.

Can you out run your mistakes?

Kate couldn’t win for losing just about everything went wrong in her life and for some reason all the guys she’d been with Were all losers. However the only bright spot in her universe was her precious little girl but here she was blowing in the wind with nowhere to go.
Some how she wandered back to the last place she’d ever wanted to see but even that did go as plan either.
Joseph had expected for Kate to come crashing back into his life with a little sidekick in tow.
Every which way she turned there was always someone willing to rub her past in her face never mind that not once did anyone ever bothered to ask if she knew the truth before she’d jumped into a roaring forest fire created by that stupid
jerk who’d lied to her from day one.
Joseph had really high hopes for them and when at a party they run smack dab into a rude ghost from her past he’ll have to be careful not to make a wrong move or she’ll be gone.

A deserved happily ever after
“ I’ve been cheated, been mistreated; When will I be loved” – Linda Ronstadt’s words never applied more than to Kate and her situation. All she wanted was to be loved, but after three strikes, she was down and out. Running from the last bum, she flees back to her home town, aware that she’ll face scandal and disdain. Fortunately, she ends up in the arms of her childhood crush, who proves to that good men still exist. A beautiful happy ending – no one deserved it more.
