Cowboy on the Run . . .Once upon a time Luke Tanner had it all. Well, almost all. Then a Hollywood stunt gone wrong stole his best friend — and Luke knows it was all his fault. He could have stopped it, should have stopped it.Jillian Crane doesn’t agree. When she tracks her late fiancé’s best friend to his Colorado mountain hideaway, she is determined to make Luke start living again. She doesn’t … again. She doesn’t know she’s the last person on earth Luke wants to see. And she certainly doesn’t anticipate the feelings she develops for Luke … nor realize how deep Luke’s are for her.
But can they get over the past they share? And even if Jill can forgive him, can Luke ever forgive himself?

Enjoyed the book and would recommend.
A quick read and a good cowboy series to read. This story is about Luke and Jillian coming together after the death of Keith years ago. Luke dropped out and lived in a cabin on his property alone but tended to the cattle until Jillian finally found where he was. A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start.
I enjoyed this author’s writing style.
Felt like the book got off to a slow start but once you’re into the read it improves Page by Page. Good plot and some interesting twists and turns. Lots of interesting characters that I’m sure we’ll see future books!
These characters went through so much and carried around so much pain and guilt. It was quite the journey for them to get together but i was right there with them on their journey.
Forgiveness
Luke ended up being a stunt double for Keith Mallory when they were making a movie in the ranching worked. Then he met Jill, Keith’s girlfriend . Keith died and he blames himself. He went back to CO. And Jill is there asking forgiveness and is writing a book about him. But can they both forgive.
A good romantic read
Enjoyed the characters and the insertion of almost family members to the couple we talked about. This book was well written and easy to follow. Tragic situation that started out turned into a reason to become human again. Enjoyed it!
Good
I really enjoyed the characters and story line. This book grabbed me from the start and kept me interested till the end. Would recommend this book.
Finished this book. Typical cowboy romance. Man does not want to be tied down, and last few pages turns around and wants to marry. Dumb. I really wish someone would write a good romance that is not a copy of others.
May have already reviewed but great storyline and a good read!
The first book of this series was better but this is also a read.
Too short!
I just love reading books with a happy ending.
love these cowboy books!
Being from a long line of ranchers and growing up horseback, it isn’t often that I find a good modern romance which is also close to the real life hard work that comes with that lifestyle! This one did that and went beyond by having character’s which could be believable! I loved it! Perhaps my favorite part was in the delivery room when he started to faint…perfect description! My thanks to the author!
I usually like female authors because they can excel in dialogue and personality insights. But they can also go on for pages with “I should have done this:” and “I shouldn’t have done that” and “I’m the most miserable person in the world”. I was ready to buy the macho cowboy hero a bra and some maxi pads–the dead guy was a reckless show-off and died for it. Get over it.
I read so many books that once a couple weeks passes, I sometimes forget exactly what I liked about it. I do remember staying up late to finish reading it, and being interested in reading the next book in the series by this author.
I really enjoyed this romance.
