Great book. Jethro is wonderful! He was awful growing up at his grandpa’s with his brothers but he grew up and became an amazing young man. Sadie interned in Denver for Layla Cox and followed her to Marietta, Montana while Layla was on maturity leave. Jethro thought he was going to be a bachelor until he met Sadie when him and Sadie ended up taking Layla to the hospital and Jethro became Layla’s labor coach. Layla is Jethro’s lawyer. Now Sadie is Jethro’s lawyer. The more time they spend together the more they like each other. A great standalone with an HEA!!!
I really enjoyed Cowboy to the Rescue. Jethro is a sweetheart. I liked Sadie’s dilemma and thought Jethro was a good match for her. I’m looking forward to reading the next books in the series.
Big city lawyer gets a taste of a small town and starts questioning what she really wants out of life. Is this a Hallmark movie? Probably. Did I enjoy it? Yes! Am I proud of myself for finishing another book that I read 15 pages of and never finished because I have the attention span of a gnat lately? Yes. Cute cowboys. Cute little town. Cute baby. Cute animals. What’s not to love? Happy Reading!
It was great to read
as with any of the various writers who base their story in Marietta the story is always interesting
Thoroughly enjoyed reading this story.
An enjoyable afternoon read. It’s nice to see A main character with everyday problems come out on top.
u
Love books set in Marietta
Great book romantic
Great series. More?
So, it seems a lawyer makes a bad birthing coach, luckily the bad-rep rancher does … which gets him decked by a jealous husband/new dad. It is another great story set in Marietta as the former angry kid learns to work with the new to town lawyer to save Granddads ranch.
Good read . 1
True cowboy love story.
I do love a good cowboy story and this one was really good, a cowboy with pride and love to give and a heroine who is strong and determined to lead a happy life away from her loving but controlling parents. I loved getting to know Jethro and Sadie two people from totally different backgrounds that meddled and fell in love, make yourself comfortable for this fabulous story.
Jethro Hansen has led a life that certainly has had ups and downs and now he is doing his best to make the ranch that was left to him and his two brothers by their grandfather improve and make a living for them all. To do that his grandfather has requested the help of the local lawyer Layla, who is off on maternity leave and her friend Sadie has stepped in and there is a pull between her and Jethro that is sizzling.
Sadie has a life plan to become partner in a big firm in Denver she is an only child and has a lot of expectations, but when she goes to the town of Marietta to help a friend, she never expects that she will fall for her client Jethro the cowboy who is not only gorgeous on the outside but on the inside as well and that all of her life plans will change for the better.
This is such a feel good, easy read, fabulous characters that were very easy to love, a sensual journey to a HEA that had me turning the pages and woohoo the first in a series so I am looking forward to more in this series and getting to know Nate and Crease. I f you love a good romance and a great cowboy hero with a strong heroine, then this is one I highly recommend.
Such an incredible story of love, family and community in the small town of Marietta, Montana! Jethro Hanson is a humble, hard-working Cowboy trying to make his Grandfather’s rach work. Sadie St. Martin is in town filling in a lawyer for her friend Layla. When Sadie and Jethro get together will the world’s they come from be too different to make a go of it? Worth the read!
This book will make you want to move to Montana to find a cowboy of your own. It is an opposites attract with sizzling chemistry between the two main characters. You have Sadie St. Martin, a lawyer from a prominent family in Denver and Jethro Hansen, a cowboy with a rundown ranch that he is trying to bring back to life to make his grandfather proud. It is a fun story and it is interesting to see the obstacles that will get in their way of a happy ever after. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
A sweet romance with two people who are looking for a change in their lives.
Jethro Hansen was trying hard to keep from losing his grandfather’s ranch. If he wanted to keep it in the family and keep his grandfather’s legacy alive, he needed to put everything he had into it. He was also trying to put his troubled past behind him and become a valuable citizen of Marietta. But some people just didn’t seem to want to believe he had changed.
Sadie St. Martin came to Marietta to help her friend Layla run her law practice while she is on maternity leave. The first thing Sadie encounters is her friend going into early labor and having to rush to the hospital along with Jethro to help Layla through the birth. Sadie didn’t expect to be attracted to a man she would be working for.
Jethro and Sadie hit it off pretty quick, but will their newly found romance be enough to keep Sadie in Marietta when it’s time for her to leave?
This book took a couple chapters to hook me. But, I really enjoyed it once I got into it. I felt a connection with the characters and really liked who they were and where the story took me. I look forward to reading more of this series.
nothing special. Characters are weak
It is not a secret to those to can look at my book list or see my bookshelf, I love Marietta, Montana. Any books based in this amazing fictional town will always be read by me on the day they hit my kindle….as soon as they hit, my kindle. This was not exception. It hit my kindle at 11pm and I started reading and read all night long. This book has an amazing cover and the story inside is even better. Jethro Hansen is one of three brothers that we have met in either books based in Marietta and I am one of many who have begged to hear his story. And what a story we did hear. So this is Jethro and Sadie St Martin (the new lawyer in town)’s story. Well Sadie is new in town because she has come to help our her friend while she is out on maternity leave but as we all know baby’s come when baby’s want to come. And yes that plays into this storyline. I am not one to give away storylines so all i will say is this, this book is the first of 3 and it is a good one!! Grab it, read it and I know you will fall in love with this cowboy in Marietta like I did.
