A romantic cowboy. A sunset kiss. Everything is perfect until he’s charged with murder. Callie Fletcher just wanted to sit on the terrace of her favorite hot spot and watch the sunset over the Texas Hill Country. A table for one, a glass of pinot and the best view in Austin. When Dominic Jaxson, a georgeous, wealthy cowboy, charms her into sharing the view, the sunset gets even more magical.… sunset gets even more magical.
Months of sunsets later, their affection blooms into love, with dreams of a future together. Never does Callie imagine that this caring and tender man might hide a secret or that he might be a criminal. But then he walks through the doors of her courtroom, charged with a crime.
Murder.
As a court reporter, Callie knows her way around the legal system, and she’s certain Dominic isn’t guilty. But can she uncover the clues to prove his innocence, or have she and her handsome cowboy shared their last Texas sunset?

Loved this book! I was really enjoying Cassie’s story and piw, along comes Dom, a sexy, kind, wonderful cowboy. A romance starts to bloom, then all of a sudden this cowboy gets arrested and Cassie is thrown into a tailspin. Will their romance survive…Will Dom stay in jail? This is a great book with plenty of surprises!
Too much info on court reporting and more story needed. Just ok
Callie is relaxing, watching a sunset at a local venue. A real cowboy asks to share her table so that he can watch the sunset. As they enjoyed the event together, they start talking and soon fall into a relationship that seems too good to be true. And then the floor falls out. This story is well written and has some interesting twists. I enjoyed the characters. I liked the book and I would recommend it. This is the first book that I’ve read by the author and I’m looking forward to reading more.
I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
A second chance for two with lost loves. It seems to good to be true, maybe. Enjoyable, easy reading.

Writer needs to improve. Sounded like a 12 year old wrote it

Unrealistic. Hard to get into this story.

Slow
I love a good book, good mystery, this wasn’t one of them. started slow and continued. I actually skipped half of the book, then continued to the end.
This was really great. I never realized how much work a court reporter had to do. Very interesting, and a great story.
I enjoyed this story. There was mystery, suspense, drama and romance, all you could want in a story. I also like a happy ending.
