Oh, how I’ve missed these Dalton men
Fell in love with Ford right from the beginning. He came to Paradise Valley fitting right in, and wanted to stay. The Cowboy Code is alive and well here, making me sure envy Susannah, who is also a tough and very smart woman.
Loved and laughed at the banter between all the characters thru the whole read.
Throw in a bit of intense drama, a steamed up pickup truck, babies and horses, you have a perfect summer read Cowboy style.
A stand alone in a bunch of hot, hunky cowboys? Not for long, you’ll want the rest of them too.
Can’t wait for Ford’s brothers to get their stories next.

Looking for a really good cowboy book and/or series? This one is amazing!
I absolutely adore cowboy stories and when you add in a cowboy who has been hurt and is just looking for a second chance at life? Well, I’m there!
Ford Dalton is recovering from a traumatic injury he got during a rodeo. He’s also trying to pick up the pieces of his heart after his fiancee dropped him while he was still recovering from his injuries. Susannah Ryan is getting set to open her own horse therapy program on her parents’ ranch. Neither is looking for love but that’s what they get.
This is the last book of the series but it is easily read as a standalone book.
Finding HOME In Each Other’s Arms…
After losing everything, He’s just looking for a place that truly feels like HOME & will somehow provide him with a purpose again…
She’s in desperate need of trained horses for a therapy program she’s starting, & after a fire she’s hoping she can provide an even exchange… horses for grazing land.
What she encounters is a slightly broken, morose Cowboy who’s willing to help anyone around with anything…
While he’s surly as all get out, he’s also steadfast, hardworking, & Hotter ‘N a Two Dollar Pistol…
Is this surly Cowboy a Dream-Come-True, or a Controlling Nightmare she’s unfortunate enough to be saddled with…
I was granted an ARC of Em Petrova’s “Cowboy Flirtation (Dalton Boys Book 7)” via Booksprout; I’m gladly recommending it based upon its own merits. I enjoyed this book as this story is on par, & I’ll look forward to more opportunities to read Em’s work in the future. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given.
Until next time… Happy Reading!
I absolutely loved this story. Where can I get me a Dalton man???
Ford has trust issues with life, due to his ex-fiancee leaving him and losing his job at the rodeo after breaking two vertebrae in his back.
Susannah just wants to be able to run her horse therapy program but she needs more stable horses than she has.
Their story is a wonderful rollercoaster ride of emotions, suspense, and romance.

Amazing book! Such a good tale about family, love, being there for one another. Ups and downs with Ford and Susannah. Was an absolute page turner for me, I couldn’t wait to see what was going to transpire next. I had not read any of the other books in this series which is ok they are stand alone. But, I am going to get the other 6. I really enjoy the way that the author writes and how she tells the story. I would strongly recommend this book to my friends and to anyone who enjoys reading.
Good family based cowboy story. Ford lost his ability to be a part of the rodeo circuit and his fiancée when he broke his back. After his family lost a barn and part of their housing after a lightning strike caused a fire he found love with a neighboring girl while helping her get her program for autistic children up and running.

When I see that the author’s name is Em Petrova, I know that I’m in for a great storyline with a handsome and alpha male hero lead and a feisty young heroine. This book fits that formula perfectly I am delighted to report. Ford Dalton [this is book 7 of the Dalton Boys but can be easily read as a standalone although it’s obviously better read in sequence as you will have ‘met’ recurring characters and how they behave] has been injured and he can no longer take part in the rodeo and then his fiancee dumps him too. He’s not having a great year. SO head heads home Whilst there fires break out and so he does what they all do, jump in a truck and work together. His uncle needs more help as they have lost so much in the fires and so Ford offers to stay and do what he can. Susannah needs good horses and knows that the Daltons have them even though they have had trouble. But when she comes face to face with Ford and her mind seems to go all fuzzy as if she can’t even remember why she needs horses. He’s handsome, single but does he ever smile?? He’s certainly not smiling at her. But, on the other hand, Ford thinks she is gorgeous and, if only he didn’t do relationships,… Will these two people fight their attraction for one another? It seems such a shame and such a waste. I have really enjoyed Em’s other stories in this series and I thought this was just as good as the others. It is an easy read with suspense and great characters that seem 3-dimensional and very realistic. Em Petrova has a wonderful relaxed writing style that draws me into all her books and keeps me coming back for more. I absolutely loved this book and was honored to have been able to receive an arc to read and review. It was such a phenomenal read and had amazing characters as well as an amazing story line. I just couldn’t get enough of it and once I started reading it I couldn’t put it down. I recommend that you read it.
I like these Daltons. Glad to read this standalone book number seven in this series.
Ford Dalton is a likeable man but in this story I think we have too much filling about his pain from losing his ex-fiance. It tipped over the edge for me. But apart from that it was an amazingly well written romance that I liked to read. It is an quick and easy read.
A mix of emotions, pain, finding yourself, chemistry and second chances makes it an enjoyable read.
What a wonderful story. This story of family, healing, trust and learning to fall in love again just gets you right in the core. It’s well written and the storyline flows effortlessly and I was engrossed the who,e way through. If you love a series packed full of family and hot alpha cowboys then this is the series for you.
Love the hot Dalton brothers! Another well written entertaining story with a hunky cowboy and a sexy beauty. Ford and Susannah are so great together. Steamy chemistry and an emotional connection.

I love this series! The plot was interesting and had me hooked from the very beginning. I loved the banter between the main characters. They were well-developed and easily relatable. I would have loved a little more background history on both of them. The suspenseful portion of the book didn’t add or take away from the storyline in my opinion. I can’t wait for the next book in the series! Em Petrova is an excellent author. She knows what her readers want and provides it every single time.

LOVED IT!!!! This was a fantastic book. I haven’t read the prior Dalton Boys books but I will now. This was a great book to read about a wonderful family, the Daltons. I was thrilled to have read this. The story was well written and went so fast that it was over before I wanted it to be. The characters were easy to relate to. The scenes were clear as a movie. The book was written in a dual POV so getting to know them was great.
If you love cowboys, and really who doesn’t, this is one that you will want to read.
A well written and intersesting storyline. That had me intrigued from the beginning. It is a standalone but 7th in the series were we resee other charaters from previous stories. Susannh is at her family’s Ranch and is trying to start a program for autistic and special needs children teaching them how to take care of horses and possibly eventually riding them. Ford an ex rodeo star healing from his back injury was asked to come help after his cousins ranch catches fire. They meet because she is in need of borrowing some horses for her program she is starting. The chemisty is hot that sussannah and Ford are refusing to give in due to their own issues. I really enjoyed the slow burn journey of romance.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.. I tend to always enjoy Em’s books, why well they are fairly quick easy to read and you tend to get sucked into the story. This book is the 7th in this series, so I hope you started from the first not that you won’t enjoy or will be lost because this can be read as a standalone but you just get more. Anyway, we have Ford who is an utter mess, first he gets hurt while at the Rodeo his job and love and to top it off his horrid Fiance dumps him, that is actually the best thing that could have happened for him, I mean who does that? anyway back to original thought now that these things happen he is not happy and can you blame him? He meets Savannah who is starting a horse therapy program and needs help and they use Ford for that help, the sparks fly but Ford wants to fight this but he wont be able to stop it…Enjoy!
I love this books i cant wait to hear it on audio!! Em Petrova has done it again! I cant wait for the next book!!!!

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I really enjoyed reading this story about Ford and Susannah. Ford Dalton is an ex Rodeo Cowboy, he’s currently home with his parents because he got hurt and is trying to mend not only his back but his heart from his break up with his ex fiancee Gabby. Susannah Ryan is a young woman who lives on her family’s Ranch and is trying to start a program for autistic and special needs children teaching them how to take care of horses and possibly eventually riding them. Ford is called home to help at his uncle and cousin’s Ranch when a fire breaks out. It caused lots of damage and he offers to stay and help repair. She heads down to the Dalton ranch to see if she can borrow some horses for her program. When she arrives she runs into Ford, the only Dalton she’s ever met that doesn’t smile. Ford tells her that he would help her out and agrees to assist her. Between Ford and Susannah there is a simmering under current chemistry. The Dalton Ranch lends her five horses for the program and Ford offers to take them up and get them set up. For it also shows or some things that she needs to adjust before having the program start and the open house. He’s only looking out for everybody safety. Ford is working with his cousins repair the ranch and downs lots of time with his little cousins, on such night while playing with them in the stock tank when Susannah comes to visit. After spending an evening getting to know each other Under the Stars the two of them figure out there’s more to life than just horses. Unfortunately Ford is afraid to express how he feels after being burned before. Follow the two of them on their Journey as they discover more about each other how they work together through new clients with the clinic 2 crazy family members to even horses being stolen. Watch as Ford finally breaks through his fears Ed admits his love. I definitely recommend reading the story. Great storyline and characters.
