I have serious cover envy over this book. Even though we aren’t supposed to judge a book by its cover, I can’t help it. Can’t wait to read this one!
Ho! Ho! Ho & Yehaw! This is a great Christmas story packed with attraction and tension between the hero and heroine!
I love single dad romances, Christmas and fun heroines. This book has all three.
This was such a fun escape read! Dylann has done a great job creating this neat little town with lots of quirks and the characters that live there. Highly recommend!
I loved everything about this book. Like the first Holdiay novel, this one made me giggle and “awww” and blush just a little. I adored Jinx– Crush did a fantastic job crafting a complex yet totally relatable character. Full of heart and just enough snark to keep me laughing, even when dealing with some serious drama, this was an absolutely perfect read.
Cash is a straight shooter with no time for love, his only focus is looking after the Town as well as his daughter Kenzie, Jinx is stuck in town but while she is happy to work at Charlies bar while saving to get out of town she isn’t interested in the feelings that Cash causes her. Get comfy for a great read of 2 (infuriating at times) people trying to stop their hearts from leading them together, family and friends who are more than happy to interfere, plenty of laughs to leave you with sore cheeks and a past that might actually stop this happily ever after!!
This was a really good read! I knew when I read the first book in this series, that the Walker brothers were going to be awesome, and this book didn’t disappoint! The writing flowed well, and I loved Cash and Jinx together. Cash was a good guy, even though when the drama goes down he assumes the worst. Jinx should have been upfront with Cash long before then. It was really sweet to see Jinx, Cash and Kenzie become a family. I loved all the secondary characters, and the town of Holiday. I can’t wait to find out what’s going on with the other Walker brothers!
I voluntarliy reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.
I have falling in love with Dylann Crush’s writing. The Cowboy Christmas Jubilee was a fun, delightful, and an extraordinary book with Holiday Christmas magic.
Jinx and her faithful sidekick, Hendrix are on the run, trying to escape a bad situation.
Holiday, Texas won’t be the same when this wanderer’s Vintage Indian bike leaves her and Hendrix stranded. But she’s keeping a secret, one that may very well bring danger to this little festive town.
Cash is a single dad, a local law enforcement officer, who is just trying to protect both his little town and his beautiful little girl Kenzie.
Miss Kenzie stole the show in this beautiful book!! This little girl along with Hendrix and Pork Chop wormed their way into my heart and very soul.
Miss Dylan has created a picturesque town that will make even a Scrooge believe in the power of the season.
Grab your favorite holiday beverage and be prepared to fall in love with The Walker’s and the town of Holiday, Texas.
Dylann Crush has a way of delivering charisma, stamina and charm in her stories that fills you with gleeful endorphins. I look forward to the next one.
I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
It was a great book!
Jinx was only going to stay long enough to earn money to fix her bike.
She did not count on how charming this little town was going to be.
Cash is a little suspicious of the newcomer.
However, he can’t deny the attraction.
Now he just have to woo her and convince her to give them a chance.
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!
I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
Crush’s witty banter and sexy scenes make her books very enjoyable. Loved being back in Holiday Texas
I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
I just loved this book. This is the first book from Ms. Crush that I have read. I will definitely have to start at the beginning of this series. The Walker family is just wonderful. They truly are a family that you would want to have by your side in a crisis.
This story is about Cash Walker and Jinx Jacob (and Kenzie, Cash’s little girl.) They HEA is a totally wonderful experience to read. There are so many places in this book where I laughed so hard that I would have to explain it to the hubby as he thought I was laughing about him. Especially the part with the snake! No more details here. Sorry.
This book is written in a dual POV. That helps me as a reader to understand the character’s actions. Reading about Jinx’s history really made me so happy to have a loving family. Her reactions to some situations didn’t seem right until her history is explained. Jinx is a wonderful character. She SO DESERVES a HEA and Ms. Crush really delivered with Cash. Yes, Cash is the ultimate hero and so drool-worthy.
This story had me captivated right from the beginning. I so wanted to move to Holiday, Texas. I highly recommend this story to anyone. But be prepared for tears from laughing and the way Ms. Crush delivered the ending.
“This guy is nothing but trouble. It’s time to hit the road again.” Such were Jinx Jacob’s thoughts as she prepared to hop on her vintage yellow 1953 Indian Chief Roadmaster motorcycle on her way out of North Hollywood and away from her drug-dealing boss. She never would have guessed that her ex-boss/ex-boyfriend was a drug dealer when she first met him. Time to get away from all that trouble. And away Jinx rode with her little chihuahua Hendrix in his special carrier until her bike broke down outside the small town of Holiday, Texas.
The first people Jinx meets as she is walking towards town to find someone to tow her bike to a repair garage are Deputy Sheriff Cash Walker and his daughter, Kenzie on their way home from a Halloween party. Cash takes one look at Jinx with her bright teal hair, multiple pierced earrings and tattoos and sees nothing but trouble. His daughter, Kenzie is fascinated by Jinx and Hendrix. Jinx is a loner and a wanderer, always on her way to somewhere. Will this unexpected stop in Holiday, Texas be where Jinx finds a home and family? Readers will find the answer to this question along with a page-turning good time in this book.
The author, Dylann Crush brings readers a truly heartwarming and fun Christmas story in Cowboy Christmas Jubilee, book #2 in her Holiday, Texas series. This story has all the best ingredients for a very entertaining Christmas romance; lots of holiday spirit, family gatherings, love of the season and wonderful characters. This town and its people put on a Jingle Bell Jamboree each year with a special tree lighting ceremony, a snowman making contest, lots of hot coacoa and even gingerbread funnel cakes. I found myself wishing I could escape to Holiday, Texas and share in all the Christmas fun there. I love stories that make me feel I am a part of the fun in them. Cowboy Christmas Jubilee is a great Christmas romance book!
Sweetly thrilling feel good small town holiday romance filled with lots of heart…. loving this cast of quirky yet easy to love charters and adorable sleepy little town. Looking forward to my next visit.
Jinx Jacobs is a smart, sexy and tough as nails independent woman who breaks down in Holiday for the holidays and is so not looking for forever…. Cash Walker is smart, sexy, strong and a charming single dad and sheriff’s deputy. Loved the highly entertaining witty banter and engaging action. Could not put this story down.
This is a heartwarming, humorous holiday read. Jinx and Cash are great characters who fit well together. Can Cash convince Jinx that he is what she needs? Will they both let go of the past and move on with each other? This is a heartwarming read and I would recommend it.
Most of her life, Jinx Jacobs has been responsible for only one thing: herself. A long time ago she had been the center of someone’s universe only to have it ripped away when her father died, so she’s built a thick impenetrable shell in order to survive, and she makes sure to keep emotions out of the equation. When her vintage bike, the last piece she has of her father, breaks down in the small town of Holiday, Texas, she doesn’t quite know what to do with the warmth and kindness that local lawman, Cash Walker, and his family show to her. She’s only staying long enough to earn the money to fix her bike, and then she’s back on the road to a job waiting for her in New Orleans. But as much as she tries to remain separate and closed off, Cash’s family embraces her, his daughter Kenzie charms her, and she finds the feelings she’s developing for a certain lawman quite inconvenient. Then there’s the little matter of what she’s hiding, and we all know the past has a way of catching up and revealing itself at the worst possible time.
The early copy I read of this book is my first by this author and, boy howdy, she sure knows how do cowboys right! This book has just the right mix of small-town charm, quirky secondary characters, enchanting storyline, and a bit of madcap hilarity thrown in for good measure. I adored the gruff but big-hearted, sexy hero and the strong and tough yet vulnerable and broken heroine. My heart went out to them both for different reasons. Cash, trying to make a good life for his daughter and having a wonderful support system in his family, but still a little hurt from the past and missing something in his life. And Jinx, having no family and no place to call home, never staying in one place too long or forming any real connections. For two such opposite people, Cash and Jinx were so amazing together!
This is one of those book worlds that, once you get a taste of it, you’ll want to return to it again and again. Cash’s family is wonderful, with the typical banter and pranks between brothers, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the remaining single men in the Walker family. The setting is great, with an array of unique, endearing characters that really brought the story to life. And what happens when you pair a pig named Pork Chop with Hendrix, the Chihuahua, her one true soul mate? Let’s just say that Holiday’s Jingle Bell Jamboree will never be the same. There’s a quaint B&B in town, and I hear they have an availability, so plan your staycation in Holiday, Texas, today!
Loved this one!! This is a fantastic story with all sorts of feels. Jinx and Cash are an unlikely pairing. She’s a blue haired motorcycle riding free spirit with a troubled past. He’s a responsible single dad and sheriff’s deputy. Together with Cash’s little girl, the quirky citizens of the little town and all the holiday magic they make a happy little unit. Is it too good to be true? Jinx thinks so knowing that at any time her past could rear its ugly head and ruined the happiness she has finally found.
Wonderful writing, amazing characters and a beautiful story makes this a must read. I highly recommend it.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Crush wraps readers up in the spirit of the season. Holiday, Texas is about to feel the burn of another heart lost. Jinx is in need of a little holiday cheer and the citizens of this Christmas themed town are happy to help. Cowboy Christmas Jubilee has all the feels of a holiday movie and the heat of a wood burning fireplace. Tis the season to open up to all the possibilities. A sentimental classic.
Heartwarming story I read in one sitting. Loved how Jinx and Cash’s relationship evolved. Kenzie and Hendrix made me smile. Can’t wait to visit Holiday again.
