Loved it! This book was awesome! I couldn’t put it down. It had me from beginning to the end. A must read. Grab it!
Amazing, relatable characters. I love the nerdy vibe from Frankie and the play of aspect of Cooper. Their story is beautiful and has real life scenarios that make it worth the tears I shed.
I was hooked from the start! Cooper and Frankie share a connection that made me smile. There’s some heart pounding emotions, great heat and amazing sweetness. I’m pulled in by all the characters and enjoyed every minute of this story.
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Cowboy Casanova is an adequate description of the the country music superstar Cooper. Frankie is the is his complete opposite as she is the chess loving resort owner who loves her seclusion from the world. The only thing they have really in common is their ability to hide who they really are that is until they face one another. Fears are overcome but can they handle letting others see their real selves or will the truth be too much for their relationship to handle? Read to find out.
Cooper and Frankie are an adorable, engaging, and humorous couple that you can’t help but fall for. She’s all structure and discipline, while he is fun and spontaneous! The writer knows how to get you invested in the characters and the outcome of the story. If you love rom-coms, you will enjoy this book. Take a chance on sweet pea and peanut, you’ll thank me later
Truly one of my favorite reads in 2018. You will truly understand all the characters and the emotions they are feeling. I absolutely love the dialogue between the heroine and hero and all the secondary characters.
Cowboy Casanova (The Culture Blind Book 2)
There are some books that just connect with you on every level, and for me this was one of them. What could be just another romance is made so much more by offering special characters that push the norm and make you both think and feel. Cooper, the country music star, on the surface was what you would expect. Charming, a playboy, jaded and puffed up on his own importance. Underneath though is the sweet guy, the kind and generous brother, the doting uncle, and loving son. Frankie was simply amazing and I think she will be relatable to so many readers. Suffering from anxiety, she is unique, quirky, sassy and loveable. With a storyline that blends poignant emotions, steam, sweetness humor, drama and passion, this book quickly pulls you in and dos not let go. You will smile, you will sigh, you will swoon and you will cry. An absolute reading delight that will touch your heart and easily earn a spot on your keeper shelf.
Great story line! Xavier not only tackles interracial relationships but she also tackles social anxiety in this story! Coop and Frankie are great together! The perfect combination of country boy and city girl! Great read!!!
Another Xavier masterpiece! And another Xavier classic couple! Cooper and Frankie – sigh!
Cooper is your typical star playboy – drinking, partying, sleeping his way through, well, through everyone. But then he sees Frankie and well, read the book and find out.
Frankie is your typical nerd – she views her life and everyone in it as a chess game and players. But then she meets Cooper and well, read the book and find out.
Just read the book – you won’t be sorry.
Coop likes to make things clear, “I’m single, Sweet Pea, if that’s what you were worried about. Single and here tryin’ to mingle.” Coop knows how to compromise, you know by giving his woman whatever she wants, “pretty sure my towels should meet your standards.” She tilts her head in serious question. “They should, but if they don’t, we can swing into the city and buy whatever it is you want.” I loved the thoughts that ran through Frankie’s mind, “I glance at Cooper’s arm in question. Is he kidding? The man’s arm is strong and solid just like his ***k.” I loved this book, I fell in love with Coop.
I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I loved this book. Cooper and Frankie are two people who on the surface seem like they won’t work, but their differences are what draw then together. They both fall hard and fast and it is just adorable! I will say Frankie is socially awkward and that gave me anxiety but I’m sure others will be just fine with it. Great love story with plenty of steamy scenes for those of us who like that. Another one knocked out of the park by Miss Neal!
Frankie and Cooper…. just wow. Ok so I went back and forth alot, trying to decide if Frankie should be locked up somewhere, or if i wanted to cry FOR her.
Cooper has a personality that you almost hate to love. Hes sweet but publicly at least hes kind of an ass. I absolutely LOVE that whole family though, and hes no different.
Frankie is a little…. well hard. Lol she is definitely special. Frankie has a very sweet personality, but has severe social anxiety. The entire world is a chess board for her. She sees everyone and thing as either a piece or chest move. If she cant use chess as a play by play she stresses. And chocolate! Dont forget Frankie’s chocolate.
Coop and Frankie, aka Peanut and Sweet Pea’s love story was PHENOMENAL!!!! I love that Xavier tackles social issues like interracial relationships as well as anxiety. Xavier, I will read everything you publish, but it’s so amazing that everything book you’ve written has been just completely awesome!!!!! As always, YOU ROCK MY LITERARY WORLD!!!!!!
I’ve had some favorites among Xavier’s stories, but I have to say DING DING NEW FAVORITE! Cooper, hot country singer, playboy, maybe a bit of a lush and a man whore. Up to his tricks in a venue lobby. Unfortunately, he picked the wrong target, with a milkshake! Don’t mess with an anxiety ridden, no filter engaged owner of said venue. There re challenges for this couple. Will they overcome? Have to read this amazing story! There is a lot of chocolate, a little few tears, a few binges, some hot sex, and a whole big family of love!
I absolutely loved Coop and Frankie. This book was beyond the cuteness for me, though they were a cute couple. I loved how it shows, if you love someone, you love them, quirks and all. Truly embracing who they are and not wanting them to be something they’re not. True Love. Coop and his (mostly) charming ways and Frankie and her blunt ways just seemed to flow well together. Loved it and can’t wait for more!
Country music star Cooper Copeland was first mentioned as the Cowboy Casanova in book 1 of the Culture Blind series, and this book details how appropriate that designation is. When Cooper (Coop) runs into Francesca (Frankie) Hatcher at her resort, it isn’t exactly love at first sight. Frankie is a lover of Chess and all things chocolate, and the very successful owner of The Chessboard Resort on South Haven Island but suffers from social anxiety and has no interest in the flashy cowboy. Can two total opposites make a relationship work when neither thought they needed nor wanted one? Can they help each other change and grow when just the thought of change is unthinkable in Frankie’s carefully structured world? You’ll have to read to find out. This is another fun, romantic, and very steamy story of how two people can come together against all odds. There were definitely more than a few chuckles throughout the book as I’ve come to expect from a Xavier Neal novel. If you like steamy, opposites attract romances, then go back and read book 1 – Redneck Romeo – (if you haven’t already) and then dig right into Cowboy Casanova. Xavier Neal continually makes my heart full and never disappoints.
Christ on a cracker!!! I have fallen for these two so hard, and I couldn’t get enough of them. Frankie is this little spunky firecracker that doesn’t know how to deal with society. Cooper is the SCORCHING HOT country singer that can charm the pants off any lady.
When Coop and Frankie meet, it’s a freaking mess. But, yet it’s quite funny. These two are polar opposites and it shows. But, when two opposites attract some of the best moments and memories are made. I think both of them really learned from each other, and I want to be Frankie so BADDDD! This story had me on edge from the beginning to the end. I have learned a little from these two, and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. I hope we get to see them again!!!
This is book 2 in this series but can be read as a standalone.
Ms. Neal has done it again! She has written such an exquisite book and has given us another couple that burrows deep into your heart. I love how Ms. Neal tackles real life, sometimes controversial topics, in her books. Cooper and Frankie are, in my opinion, one of the most lovable characters that Ms. Neal has ever written. I simply adored and devoured this book. Another can’t miss book by an amazing author.
