This is my new favorite!! I loved Alexei and Heidi
Oh, Alexei, we both knew this was going to come back and bite you but the ride was fun while it lasted. Alexei meets his mate but she seems to run from him in human form but in polar bear form she can’t stay away.
I love reading about Heidi opening up to this bear and telling him all her secrets not realizing that she was actually telling him about himself.
I loved watching Alexei be his fun and charming self.
Candace Ayers did an awesome job of making this book fun right from the start. I LOVE how Alexei and Heidi meet! Heidi is strong and fierce with a soft, vulnerable inside. Alexei is determined to show her that he will always have her back! If you want a quick sexy shifter read then this is a book you should have in your collection!
Another great book to the series brings Alexis and Heidi’s story. The author once again does a great job describing her scenes and bringing an entertaining story filled with drama and a sweet romance. I love how she brings back past characters and incorporates them into the story. It’s well written, moves quickly and smoothly and I loved reading. I’m looking forward to the next book. Highly recommend.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
The third book in the P.O.L.A.R. team series, this one is the best yet! They’ve all been enjoyable, but this one is especially sweet…and sexy!
Heidi has been vilified by strangers (not giving away why) and feels like she just needs to keep her head down and avoid any relationships at all costs. Alexei feels her pain and sadness and knows she’s his mate. But how can he convince her that she should give him a chance? Maybe a polar bear in the Florida Keys can befriend her!
While there certainly are some funny lines, at the heart of this story is a woman who has been forced into a lonely existence and a man with a big heart who wants to show her how special she is.
Very romantic and touching, Covert Bear is a perfect summertime story!
This was a wonderful shifter romance. I thought the story was sweet, cute and steamy. Alexei and Heidi’s book was so good . These two were so perfect together. Heat, heart, drama, tension, conflict and deep emotions are crafted into the entertaining story. This romance will have your heart melting as it unfolds.
Covert Bear is the third book in the P.O.L.A.R. Series, but could be read as a stand alone. Heidi is content in her life, watching her best friend’s kiddos and bartending, but until she meets Alexei, she never realizes how lonely she truly is. Due to her past, she doesn’t want to get close to Alexei, but he may have a trick up his sleeve to help get closer to her. When all secrets are revealed, will Heidi and Alexei have a happy future?
This book kind of takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions between Heidi and Alexei, but I enjoyed reading it. Heidi had something terrible happen in her past, and it’s effected all of her relationships and even aspects of her life now. You couldn’t help but feel for her situation. She’s determined, she hates being vulnerable, but she’s sweet, if not a little crazy. Alexei has his heart in the right place, but doesn’t always go about things in the right way for Heidi. He made me smile with his efforts! There’s almost a comedy of errors between them, but it made me want to cringe at times, too. I liked their connection, I loved the persistence of Alexei’s bear, but this wasn’t my favorite book in the series. Still a good addition, and I look forward to more from this author and in this series!
When Polar bear shifter Alexei meets his mate he finds she is not fit to be in a relationship.
P.O.L.A.R team member Alexei is swimming by the pier in his polar bear form when he sees a beautiful woman sitting on the end of the pier with a fishing rod. He swims closer and tries to attract her attention but she seems be in a world of her own. Eventually he pulls in her fishing line and she jumps back in shock. He realizes from her scent that she is his mate but how is her going to convince her of this.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This one does not disappoint
Kerrigan, befuddled dispatcher, avoids interacting with Dmitry, the assassin of P.O.L.A.R., due to her growing attraction to him. As the story progresses danger comes from multiple locations and fighting the attraction from both parties may lead to damaging their future. Candace Ayers’ second book in her P.O.L.A.R. series does not disappoint for a quick afternoon read. I would love to know more about Serge and Hannah’s story and am looking forward to reading about the rest of the crew.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
