A heartbreaking decision between love and responsibility… the Phoenixes. No one wants that, least of all me.
I know what Sven would say. I should let him go rather than risk everything. But that’s not going to happen.
He’s mine, I’m his, and I’m going to solve this. My heart wars with my duty but I refuse to let either one go.

WOW that was a very entertaining read. I absolutely love these characters, Adara is a wonderful mix of sass and independence & Sven is an Alpha with a heart. We get more help from Jacob, Ashur & Mia & I love how that relationship is strengthening. There are some heartbreaks in this one as our couple fight their biggest challenge to date. I really hope this wasn’t the end of our time in this world.

This series keeps you hooked from beginning to the end of each book. Ms. Martin writes wonderful books with characters you fall in love with. If you haven’t read any of her other series they’re a must.

I really enjoy reading about Sven and Adara after everything else. These two are great and shes not willing to let him go so easy. They will both fight for what they believe and want.
Adara and Sven are back in this final book of the Phoenix Wars. Something is coming. That much Adara can ascertain as messages begin to flood in of dissidents against Sven beginning to make waves. Soon it’s not long before those in power are being deposed. One by one the flocks fall to new leaders. But what is really going on? The shock and horror of the truth is quickly revealed when the former King makes an unexpected return. Thanks to a little help from another that Adara is all too familiar with. Now the kingdom is thrown into chaos. Adara has a bounty on her head and no one is safe from the mad king.
Court of Flame is the thrilling conclusion by Miranda Martin of this amazing series. Everything comes to a head in this book as the truth comes out as to why she was kidnapped in the first place. We see the fickleness of the people that Sven rules, and we see the heart and dedication of those who serve him and serve him proudly. I will be the first to admit, I got choked up a couple times behind certain characters. War is ugly and the losses are cruel. Even though she doesn’t take charge like a true leader, I like that Adara does what she can. She doesn’t try to push it off on someone else to lead when the time comes.
There isn’t much that I don’t like about this book. There is one moment that I have an issue with Adara, but it’s only because she tries to make a move without really thinking it through. It was an obvious situation, but she nearly makes a catastrophic mistake.
I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. The storyline is engaging. It grips the reader from start to finish and has a fast pace that is well done. It’s hard to say goodbye to Adara and Sven, but knowing that their story has been so well told is worth it.

This is a very good series ender! The ex-Phoenix King returns, captures Sven and reaps havoc on the capital! I enjoyed seeing Mia and Ashur again, lending their support and aid to Adara. An excellent series now completed!

This is an incredibly series that I’m truly sad to say goodbye to now. I’ve loved the characters and all the twists and turns this story took on it’s way to HEA…most of which I never saw coming! This is so well written and series I’m sure to revisit again as one of my favorites to reread. The best part of this series is that I’ve not seen anything else out there like it, which I love! This series is well balance with the steam, the action and the feels.
This was a wonderful series I am so glad I got to read every book in it. I am satisfied with the way the series ended, I am so looking forward to see what will be written next.

All I can say is wow. To see Emberich risen from the dead would have scared anybody to death. I guess that’s what it means to rise from the ashes for a Phoenix. Sven and Adara made the mistake of not getting rid of the Phoenix that were against Sven as the King. Adara and Sven found out why they needed Adara’s blood. What a fight at the end, but I’ll let you find out what happens. I will miss this series of the Phoenix and Dragon books. They have all been wonderful. Loved the characters and Miranda Martins spins a great story. Look forward to more of Miranda Martins books. I would recommend this series to anyone.

The third book in the Phoenix Wars series and follows the first two books, I would not read these books out of order. Sven is the in danger this time Jacob, Ashur and Mia are also a help to Adara, King Emberich is back to cause more trouble. There is drama, suspense, and betrayal looking forward to the next book at least I hope there is a next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
All aboard the crazy train!
I have to say that I believe this is the best book in the series. In the last book we were left wondering why Adara’s blood was taken. We find out that reason in this one and it is one “crazy” reason. When Sven is “taken”, it’s up to Adara to find a way to rescue him. With the help of old and new friends, she may have a chance of succeeding. When all is said and done, who will be the King of Phoenixes and what will be the cost?

This is the third book in the Phoenix Wars series and picks up where book two left off and gives yu a HUGE surprise in it. This surprise made me go O-M-G out loud when I read it. All the action, suspense and romance stays steady throughout the series which allows us to see into Adara’s world a lot better in my opinion. I truly hope that this is not the end of this world as I would love to see more for several of the characters. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
