This is a new perspective on a beautiful story. Well-written, compelling, and familiar. I love it!
This book was excellent! It gave me a realistic view of the book of Exodus. I felt like I was there with Kiya through everything she had to endure. I couldn’t put the book down; it had me so interested. It was unlike most Christian fiction books that I’ve read (some of which are so sappy and phony). I can’t recommend it highly enough!
Only read a couple chapters. Just too much of a stretch from true biblical writing. Didn’t finish it.
Beautifully written, this book shone a light on a different facet of the Exodus story – an Egyptian family who joined the millions of Hebrews leaving the only homeland they had ever known to follow Yahweh. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series!
