Halla found out her mother is ill and she is torn about it. She has to lead the Unnatural community to safety. She’s always had the interest of her community at heart. But she feels guilty that she did not see the signs of her mother’s illness and that in trying to fight for everyone else, she might lose the one person she cares most about. Still, there is a community to be saved and the only way … the only way to do that is to lead them to the Surface, so they are not ambushed again. With help from her companions, Halla convinces them that leaving The Oasis is the only way forward.
When they leave, the journey to the Surface is tense with Unnaturals that have never seen the light of day. But Halla and the companions manage to set their community free.
But it’s only the start. They still have to find the Warlock and stop him once and for all, or they will never be safe.
When they set out together to find the Warlock, it looks like they may have run into more trouble than they can handle. But to overcome that which Halla fears most, she has to reach down deep and unleash who she was always supposed to be.
And once she finds the witch that is dormant in her and released the power that she possesses, nothing will ever be the same again.
** This is the final book in the series. Enjoy!

I loved this series. This is a coming of age book that wraps up with a happy ending. You will laugh, cry and feel throughout this entire book and series. The writing about true love and interaction is clear throughout.
I hate those two words. It means the story is over and I no longer get to spend time with characters I have come to love. However, if all things have to come to an end then they should definitely end like this wonderful series. Everything came together beautifully! I will be re-reading this one over and over again.
This author completes this series with a bang. After several battles with the warlock’s monsters, the final battle is at hand. The Unnaturals have left the Oasis to make their home on the surface. Following the leadership of Halla and her friends, the community has united.
Jade Lewis uses her writing talent to set the stage for the culmination of an epic finale. An excellent series!
I loved the ending to this series! Great plot, fabulous characters..if you read the others you need to read this!!
This is the last book in the series and it’s an amazing read. This was well written, has an intense storyline and has fantastic characters. I’m looking forward to reading another book by this author. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
WOW!! Ms. Lewis is purportedly rusty at writing paranormal/fantasy material. If this series of three novels is evidence of her “rust”, I sure would like to be around after she gets back to writing this type of novel. As with the first two novels, this third book was also excellently written, with a good flow and many elements to the story line. Complex characterizations of a multitude of players but nonetheless, each character was clearly defined and evolved through their trials and tribulations. What stood out most for this reader was the message of camaraderie, dependence upon each other and community. United we stand, divided we fall seems like it could have been this novel’s epitaph.
Lovely work that was a pleasure to read and provided many pleasurable hours of enjoyment. This reader highly recommends reading this novel(s) of Ms. Lewis (aka Ali Parker).
COUNCIL OF CONSORTS BOOK 4 By Jade Lewis
Jade has really turned up the heat on this series! This is the last of the 4 books and it comes to a very satisfying resolution. Of course, there is a lot to go through first. This book brings action packed suspense, lots of angst, lots of challenges for Halla and her men, the Unnaturals, and the Warlock. I very much enjoyed this book and it kept me up late reading. I am looking forward to seeing what is next for Jade. I highly recommend this book and give it 5 stars.
ONE INCREDIBLE ADVENTURE!!!
If you’re looking for a fast paced, action packed, hard hitting, nailbiting, spine tingling, page turning thrill that hooks you from the start. Congrats my friends you’ve found it. With drama, danger, heart pounding, pulse racing, suspenseful twists and turns it keeps you on the edge of your seat and total focus on the read as the tale unfolds. Tension spirals and emotions run rampant as they fight to keep each other safe. Jade did an excellent job bringing this read to life flawlessly. Fantastic job Jade, thanks for sharing.
In true Sword and Sorcery fashion, this story sends Halla and her companions out on a Grand Adventure to locate the Warlock. They must face off against monsters from their darkest nightmares and unimaginable magical powers before their quest is complete. This book took me back to my fantasy roots. It felt a little like a Dungeons & Dragons campaign and that was pretty fantastic. You can’t go wrong with a classic. After all, there’s a reason it’s classic.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.
This is a wonderful story to read. It is book number four in the series and the last one of this series. I am happy to say that it has a happy ending, but not with out a lot of battles and loses threw this whole series. I recommend this story and the whole series to everyone this was a wonderful story and series to read.
This is my honest and unbias opinion of the story.
A wonderful ending to a great series.
Halla, her companions, family and the community come together in this hard fought ending to the Council of Consorts series. In this final book there are many battles waged, all of them important in there own way. Thankfully a happily ever after is gained for all with some surprise additions, but not without some losses. This installment was much more emotional than the other books, creating many opportunities for personal and community growth.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
