My sister is dead, and it’s my fault. Something has to give, or we’re going to lose them all. But no one in power will do something about it. Which means we’ll have to step up and make a change or it won’t happen at all. What do they say about getting something done? The only way is to do it yourself.Halla is stricken with grief and guilt when her little sister passes away after the attacks. But … attacks. But she doesn’t stay down for long. They lost so many Unnaturals during the attack and Halla is determined to head out and get revenge. It’s the least she can do when no one else is doing anything at all.
Aurelius, Byron, and Greyson are all there for her as they were before. But Damien the demon joins their little group and proves his worth as a member of the team when he sticks by their side and offers to head out to find the monsters with Halla and the crew.
The Council won’t let Halla and her friends go to the Surface. After a fight, the group decides to sneak out, and they make it to the Surface without a hitch. It doesn’t take too long before they find the monsters.
But something is very, very wrong.
Halla and her friends have to head back to The Oasis before a new wave of monsters – bigger and more murderous than before – make it back and kill all her friends and family. They must round up the Unnaturals to stand up for themselves and fight.
When they return home, they are met with the same adversity as before, and it only makes Halla angry. Why will the Council not allow them to fight for their freedom? When Halla is shot down by the very leaders that should protect The Oasis once again, something in Halla snaps, and she knows what needs to be done.
It’s time to take matters into their own hands.

This series is wonderful and this book in particular really is starting to show you where it may all go. I cannot wait to get book 3 to see where it ends up. You will fall into the book and will not want to put it down.
Book 2 of 3 of this series and it was just as well written as book 1. Easy to read. Story that flowed smoothly. A complex story of which the details were intricately woven to form the message of the characters. Great characterizations. One character introduced in book 1 has now moved on to being an active member of the team of the main female character. There was much detail into the emotions and feelings of each of the characters. Turbulent times for each of the main characters with their families. For some reason the vampire character reminds me of James Dean or a young Clint Eastwood in “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly”; lean, brooding. Great action and adventure, oh and a wee bit of romance thrown into the mix. Very entertaining. Looking forward to book 3 and how it all plays out for everyone.
COUNCIL OF CONSORTS BOOK 2: A Paranormal Reverse Harem By Jade Lewis
This is the 2nd book of the Council of Consorts Series. It picks up right where the 1st left off. This story is gathering speed like a racing locomotive. It is very well written and has developed characters that you really care about. I can’t wait til the next book to see where this story is going.
Halla returns to the Oasis to find out they had been attacked and her little sister killed. Halla is devastated and wants to avenge her sister. She and her men, up to 4 now with the addition of the demon to the vampire, angel, and werewolf want to go seek revenge but are not allowed out by the Council. They find a way to escape and get on their way. You need to read this book to learn more…
This is the second book in this series by Jade Lewis. A well written paranormal reverse harem book with witches, vampires, werewolves and so much more. The characters and storyline will have you devouring the pages until your done. This intriguing fast paced story has action, twists and turns. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Cliffhanger! Stay tuned …
Council of Consorts Book 2 is a continuation of a fabulous series by Jade Lewis that follows the war between the Unnaturals ( witches, vampires, werewolves, etc.) and monsters formed by evil magic. There is dissension between the Council members leading the Unnaturals and the band of warriors following Halla as to the best direction to protect their species. However, when war comes to them, only unification will win the day. This book ends in a cliffhanger and I cannot wait to read the continuing saga. Will Halla and her friends survive? Will the monsters’ evil magic be thwarted? Stay tuned …
OMG! Hold on tight because it’s going to be a wild ride. This story is fast, has more twists and turns than a pretzel, and will leave you breathless.
No rest for the weary, or Halla and the men sworn to help her fight for their home. Upon their return they find the Council is still fighting within themselves, but they feel Halla and her friends have betrayed them. They all carry the guilt of not geting back in time to save everyone, but they are even more determined than before. They men are starting to realize that Halla means more to them than just a friend, or leader, and Halla is beginning to see them all a new light. This was another action packed story and I can’t wait to see what happens to everyone in book 3!
THE RACE IS ON!!!
Talk about kickin up the heat. This bad boy hit the ground running. All the twists and turns along with a few glitches here and there make for one enjoyable experience. This is one action packed, fast paced, pulse racing, heart pounding, page turning bombshell that captivates from the start. Jade builds the drama, suspense and danger throughout as tension spirals. The characters and their personalities are unique with qualities and traits that balance out perfectly. The scenes are descriptive and detailed it really pulls this little treasure together beautifully. Jade did an incredible job bringing this read to life. Fantastic job Jade, thanks for sharing this awesome read with us.
Action, adventure, intrigue, and a whole lot of family drama. The fallout of the previous attack on Oasis is tearing the community apart. Can Halla and her champions convince the Council and the citizens of Oasis to band together for their safety or will everyone continue to run scared? In this book we learn a great deal about witch and vampire family dynamics – and most of it isn’t pretty. And another cliff-hanger ending has me anxiously awaiting the next book.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book.
This is book number two in the series. I love it as much as I did the first book in the series. This story has a lot of action in it and these stories are just getting better. I highly recommend this story to everyone it is an amazing read. If you buy this story you will not be disappointed at all.
This is my honest and unbias opinion of the story.
It keeps getting better.
This book and series reminds me of Laurell K. Hamilton’s Merry Gentry series. You have a central female lead rallying a group of misfit men to lead her people against unknown threat to their survival. This is the second book and should only be read after the first to follow the story line. While ending in a cliffhanger, it provides a surprising amount of action and adventure for readers of all ages. Jade Lewis is hitting it out of the park with her Council of Consorts series and I cannot wait to see where she takes us next.
