This novella is a quick read. You were sucked in from the start & to the end before you know it. I loved the characters and their sense of humour. Sarah, Jess & Liv are the best of friends who plan a 2 wk vacation to Mexico. The trip to Mexico opens Sarahs eyes in ways she’d never believe. She learns that she is sexy & beautiful both inside and out. With the help from Javier, a gorgeous dive instructor, she realizes that it’s okay to love again & to be loved.
I will definitely be reading Cougars’ Club: Liv next. I can’t wait to see what these 3 ladies get into in the next book.
Sarah experiences a tragic loss. Two years of hiding her friends decide a girls trip is in order. Away she meets a younger man and he ignites her. He brings her alive again. The end keeps you wondering what may be next for her.
Sarah lost her husband, and it took her a while to feel like herself. She goes on a girls trip, and finds herself again. Things heat up for her when she meets Javier the scuba driving instructor. Cannot wait until we find out more about Sarah.
Sarah is trying to live after the sudden and tragic death of the only man she has ever loved. After two years of going through a mundane routine of trying to get through each day, her best friends decide it is time to start their yearly girls’ trip again. Jess and Liv are supportive and will do whatever it takes to help Sarah find a little relaxation and fun. A trip to Mexico will introduce Javier who is exactly who Sarah needs. I enjoyed how he brought her back to life. He was sensitive, adoring, and romantic. Two weeks will bring love, hope and Sarah back to life.
After a very sad beginning, this book was such a fun hot and steamy read! I had no idea what to expect, especially after the beginning!! But this book did not disappoint!! Can’t wait to read more!
3 1/2 stars
Sweet, sexy and steamy book! After the loss of her husband, Sarah gets her groove back while on vacation with her 2 best friends. I really liked Sarah and her supportive besties. The book was fast-paced and enjoyable.
Sarah faces a terrible personal tragedy, which devastated her life. Two years into the recovery of that, she takes a Mexican vacay with friends, meeting Javier, younger, sexy, native boat owner. Slowly she re engages with her own sexual curiosity and passion, sweet heat of a romance. Books ending disappointing. Quick read, recommended.
Sarah was married to her best friend Derek. They have know each other since grade school and were high school sweethearts. Sarah knew marrying Derek she would have a life long friend at her side. She was fast asleep when she got the call. Her husband was shot a did have long. 2 years later and Sarah has just been going through life till her friends convince on going on a girls trip. This was a fast paced book. It may have been fast but it packed a punch.
Sarah lost her husband Derek when she was in her forties and has been a homebody ever since. When her two friends convince her to go on vacation she figured why not, she is on school break and she has no family. Well the trip to Mexico changes how Sarah feels about herself and how she acts which was great to see but this trip might just what she needs. Sarah surprised me a lot and I never imagined her acting like that.
I loved this quick heartfelt read I can’t wait to read the next one
Sarah suffers a tragic loss and needs to find herself again. A girls trip with her two friends take her to Mexico where she meets Javier, a diving instructor. Javier brings Sarah back to life during her trip in this steamy romance. Great read about coming into your own when you feel like all is lost.
Wow, this book was great. It was short but steamy. I loved the main character and her second chance at finding herself and love. Fantastic read and highly recommended.
This was a fun quick vacation read. But for Sarah it was so much more than that. After the tragic loss of her husband, she was struggling to do more than survive the day to day. Work, home and repeat. Her girlfriends decided not is the time and they are going to do that with a Mexican vacation. Little did Sarah know that one week was actually two weeks. A fun girls holiday in the sun is just what the doctor ordered. She wasn’t expecting to meet the likes of one hot boat owner who just as intrigued with her.
At first she was shy and skeptical to the idea, then she slowly decided why not give it a try. It was great watching Sarah come back to life, one evening at time with Javier. But their time will be over before they know it.
I had hoped for more from the ending of the book but who know, maybe the next book in the trilogy will lead some more light into the story.
Sarah’s story opens up the trilogy with a tragedy having ripped her life apart. Two years of hiding away, still missing her husband, her friends decided she needed to find a way to move on. Her two best friends drag her off to Mexico for a girls trip. Things heat up when she meets local diving instructor Javier. Much younger and devastatingly virile, he is everything she needed to open up her heart again. Two weeks of fun in the sun and in the sheets, Sarah’s awakening is explosive. But all good things must come to an end. Sarah must return to reality. Will she be able to tear herself away?
The story was a nice and steamy read on a rainy Wednesday. The ending was not what I expected. I was somewhat bummed out in the ending. But then, it’s only the first book. I will have to follow the trilogy to the end to see how the author ties it all up. Maybe I will be surprised.
I tried my hardest to really like this book. I love the older woman going for a younger man. One vacation Sarah finds herself a younger man to have some fun with. After her husband died, she deserved it. To me, she was a little childish especially when she thought the man was cheating on her. Sarah knew it was fun just for her vacation. I wasn’t a fan of the third person writing. It just didn’t pull me in the direction I wanted.
This story starts off a little sad. Sarah lost her high school sweetheart and she had to try to start over. Her friends decided she needed to gt out and went on a road trip where she came across a man named Javier . He was very much younger then her but he awakened passion in her that she never had felt before. The story gets really good and you have to read it to find out more. Great read
A light, spicy read.
Sarah has not moved past a loss. When her friends convince her to go to Mexico she decides to have a fun vacation. When she meets a hot younger guy can she throw caution to the wind.
This was a light read but also had a heavy tone with Sarah’s loss. It was great to see her embrace herself and move on with life.
A great read full of humor, fun, and romance.
A fun, spicy and quick read. Older women meets a hot younger guy while on vacation and tries to find herself again after losing the love of her live. Just the right length and amount of fun to make it enjoyable
This was a good book to read. Not too heavy, not too light. Finding yourself after you have lost a loved one is a process. It’s a different journey for everyone, and I was happy to see that Sarah was able to find that out.
This was a good, quick read. A girl’s getaway allows Sarah to realize that she can love again after the passing of her husband. If you like older women/younger men romance books, than check this one out.
