Third book in the series. This is Emerson’s tale of life with and after a rockstar marriage. It’s great to have her point of view of the events that unfolded in Jaybird and Mackenzie. The emotions that she battles in her relationship with Cam are angsty at times. However, she experiences every emotion possible as the story progresses. You’ll love reading this story of a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend, but most of all a woman that deserves to love again.
M.A. Foster is an amazingly talented author. Her words flow, and as a reader, I got totally engrossed. Her characters are real, their stories make them strong, and keep them stronger. Emerson and Cam are like a breath of fresh air. The way M.A. Foster writes details about the main character’s back stories, helps readers who have never read her books before know enough to keep them up to date. I highly recommend everyone start with Jaybird, and read this entire series. You will not be disappointed. I love M.A. Foster’s books, and I can’t wait for the next one!
“‘People come into our lives for a reason, no matter how long they stay. It’s fate.’”
Oh My! This book is everything! I don’t know where to start. Book three on the Heritage Bay series, in my opinion best to read after the first two so you won’t be lost at times.
Cougar brings us Emerson’s story, her life after suffering a terrible loss. How do you go on after losing the love of your life? When I first found out about this relationship I admit I felt bad, because I couldn’t understand how she moved on so quickly. But when is it enough time? Impossible to tell.
Melissa does an amazing job in this book, you won’t be able to help falling in love with Cam. He’s just so amazing, romantic, caring and he just wants to “help her breathe” (insert swoon here). I love the characters in this series. They are one big, loud and happy family and I was missing them dearly.
There’s drama, funny moments, infuriating moments and others where you’ll have to get the napkins for the inevitable tears, but they are oh so worth it, you won’t regret reading.
A This newest release by M.A. Foster will restore your faith in fate, and second chances. Cougar is the third book in Foster’s Heritage Bay Series, and while this book weaves seamlessly into the series, it’s also a satisfying solo read. Foster’s writing is beautiful and reaches straight into your soul. Cougar transports you on a passion filled journey that you’ll never want to end! You will not be disappointed!!! But be warned……you will need LOTS of Kleenex!!!
Let’s start this off with holy crap she did it again. I littlerly only got 4hrs of sleep I couldn’t put this book down. This book is hands down amazing.
Emerson falls for a complete stranger, they have a lot of years until something bad happens. Then she’s giving up on love and just wants to grieve. But fate had something up it’s sleeve.
If you start this book you won’t be able to let it go, So make sure you have plenty of time. Thanks M.A Foster for this amazing story can’t wait to read the next one
Cougar was a Phenomenal Book, I couldn’t put it down. I read it in one day twice as a matter of fact. MA Foster is an Outstanding Author. This book will make you cry, fall in love, and you will feel so many other emotions it’s crazy.
Emerson’s story is wonderful the love that she had for Marcus was magical and heartwarming. The new found love she finds is just as special. I loved the book with my whole heart.
This series!! I’m absolutely in love with all the books! Cougar was an amazing and a bit emotional. I’m all here for Emerson and cam tho! And I absolutely love how m.a. foster wraps all the characters that are involved in each of the story so we get to keep seeing what’s happening with them! Keep writing these amazing books!
I went into this read completely blind an unaware that it was part of two other books. The cover was just so captivating I had to read it. I couldn’t quite grasp the huge list of character explanation at the front of the book, however it became quite clear later on. There are so many characters that I often found myself confused as to who is who and where they fit in, but eventually navigated myself through the story – It was absolutely worth every confused moment! The wording in this book blew me away, it was extremely touching and simply beautifully written. I found myself getting attached to all the characters and could understand why the author had no choice but to make their presence known. I loved this book and will be reading the others that go with it as I’ve not yet had my fill of these beauties!
I did like that Emerson found love again. More power to her that he was younger. What I had me on the fence was that he was connected to Emerson in more that just a love interest. Her daughter is love with his nephew, his sister is Emerson’s ex best friend. There were so much inter family struggles going on. It just kinda felt weird to me. It’s my pet peeve. But it just over shadow some of the joy of the book.
