A quick and funny read! Loved the way Blake got on Caroline’s nerves with his annoying over confident self but had his moments of being a real human. These two really balanced each other out perfectly.
This is the fourth and final book in the Happy Hour series. What I loved about these they were quick fast reads. It’s something I can read in one sitting. The only negative for me which is just a personal preference is we only get the heroine’s point of view. I like a dual point of view. I really liked Caroline. She sucked me right into this book. Then through in the new principal Blake things are about to get interesting. I just love how close this group of friends is. Makes me want to be part of their group. I enjoyed seeing how the characters in the previous books are enjoying their HEAs.
Caroline is the last of her friends who is still single. The rest have all met the significant others and are all living their lives. She is waiting for her Mr Right, if he ever comes along. First impressions count and Caroline & Blake do not like each other at all. What if their banter is a cover up for something more? Can their attraction for one another be ignored? Will Caroline ever get her HEA? A Quick and easy read of a great series!!
I can’t get enough of the Happy Hour series. Every one of these books is like getting surprised with your favorite treat. That warm, fuzzy, best day ever feeling just leaps off the pages and envelops you while you read. It’s the perfect pick me up. Seriously, grab Cosmopolitan, sit down with this quick read and kick back for a moment. I guarantee by the time you reach the end you’ll have a permasmile for the rest of the day. Kristen Hope Mazzola works her magic as always in this building a story that feels like a three course meal in a quick bite. I don’t think I’ll ever wrap my brain around her talent at doing that. Hence why I’m fully convinced she’s magic.
Mazzola tells it like it is. With humor, heart and surprising twists. In life and love, it’s not about whether we win or lose, but how we play the game. Cosmopolitan is a tale of strong ties, heartbreaking disappointments and laugh out loud, good times. Easy to love, hard to regret and will surely leave readers wanting more.
I really enjoyed this short enemies to lovers read! Blake is a great addition to this awesome group of friends! I really wish there was more in the Happy Hour series!!
The Happy Hour crew is back! Like the others in this series, Cosmopolitian is filled with so many funny and heartfelt moments. I highly recommend this short, sweet and witty book!
Caroline is a sweet, happy teacher. She loves her job, that is until the new principle comes along. She can’t stand him and he only seems to want to undo everything she’s tried putting together for the school.
Blake aka Jerk face, he’s the new principle and no one appears to like him. He makes some school event decisions that ruffles everyone’s feathers. He’s comes off as a pushy person. Until a school funding event shows a different side to him…oh and being shirtless completely helped him also.
I really enjoyed this series! All the books are short, happy, sweet and will make you laugh, while warming your heart at the same time. Each book is a standalone, but I really suggest reading them all so you can meet each of the Happy Hour ladies.
I really liked this book. It is probably my favorite of this series. With a story that is funny, sweet and genuine, I thought this romance was very easy to fall in love with. Caroline was so very realistic and relatable. I think many readers will see themselves in her or in someone they know and that is what for me made this book extra special.
This was a very short and interesting read. If you want something hot and steamy then this isn’t for you. But if you like hate to love I’d definitely give it a try, especially if you only want a short read. This book is part of a standalone series. And even though you can read it on its own I feel that you would get more out of it if you read the prior books. This is all in Carolina’s perspective. I would have loved a bit of Blake’s perspective as I didn’t see him liking Caroline at all until it was pointed out to her. This group of friends seemed fun, a group I’d definitely love to have. It was a great book to read on a busy day. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.”
