I enjoyed reading this book. I recommended it to my husband, who read the book quicker than me and grabbed the trilogy through Kindle Unlimited to continue the series.
Interesting plot
Could not put it down
Good story line but took a lot of concentration most of the time to keep up with what was going on and why; seemed somewhat confusing.
did not like the religious part of book and quit reading it.
Grew to like the book the more I read.
Love this series!
This book is packed with intrigue and interesting characters. The narrator did a fantastic job. Can’t wait to get the next one!
Read them all great story and characters but the ending was weak.
Found the book to be a bit too ‘mystical’ for my enjoyment. The author started with a good theme but lost me with whole earth mind-reading aspect and the use of very improbable off the cuff solutions to his characters challenges.
Interesting premise but not a complete novel. Ending with the protagonist on the edge of a 500′ cliff pursued by others may be a literal cliffhanger, but is not a complete work of fiction, scifi or otherwise.
I bought the next book in the series.
Good premise, but the book is more of an anti Catholic rant than anything else. Ruined what could have been a good read.
I didn’t realize that it was a trilogy. The end of the book leaves you hanging. I don’t usually read trilogy and won’t be looking to read the other books.
I did not like the anti-Catholic flavor of the book-somebody who does not
know the Catholic religion would be left with a very bad and distorted view
of the Catholic religion.
This was a surprise read. I was pretty sure that it was going to be a no brainer sci fi story. It turned out to be a fast-paced book with a wealth of of complexity with plots, counterplots and side trips and a limited number of good guys and plenty of bad guys and those we’re not sure about. The highest compliment I can pay is that I’m now devouring volume four.
Too many conspiracy theories to count. Hard to know whether it hoped to be a thriller, SciFi or fantasy novel.
This story is driven by paranoia and Fox News level of conspiracy themes. If you have a lot of time to waste read the whole series.
Liked it so much I bought the next 3 books in the series.
A good read, but I had issues with both the world building and the massively powerful Catholic church.
