Love is the ultimate outlaw. Although attorney Hope Kendall cares deeply for President of the Lost Kings MC, Rochlan “Rock” North, the truth is they come from completely different worlds. Add to that the fact that they are also both headstrong people, and they have a very rough road ahead of them.Real love isn’t a fairy tale. For Rock that means introducing Hope to what it really means to be part … tale.
For Rock that means introducing Hope to what it really means to be part of his brutal and shady world, where the Lost Kings Motorcycle Club is his main focus. For Hope it means accepting the things she can’t change, and understanding that Rock is a man who will do anything to keep her safe.
Love doesn’t follow any rules.
As Rock continues to draw Hope deeper into his world, painful misunderstandings, past relationships, and opposition from the members of his club will threaten to drive them apart.
How do a lawyer and a badass biker with a heart of gold keep their love alive while their opposing worlds collide?

This series just gets better. Rock is hard yet sweet. Hope is still so emotional yet she has such strong personality. Secrets…half truths…sneaky snarky club whores….angst….drama…sexiness….heat….this book has it all. I love the way Rock treats Hope. Hes all alpha in his feelings for her. Hope feels she dont belong in his world…and is still dealing with moving on after her husbamds death. But these two are meant to be together!!!! Love it!!! Thankgod book 3 is available already!!!!
Fabulous Series! I highly recommend reading all of the books in this series!!!
What can I say this was one of my favorite books of the series. I love the banter between the guys. Wrath…I’ll just leave it at that. This is a go back and read again book for me..the whole series is!
Love love love autumn lake jones
This series keep getting better. More layers and answers to the characters. I just love Hope and Rochlans journey and how they fight for their relationship. I’m equally invested in the other characters as well. Need to know Trinity and Wrath’s history. Just need more of this MC series.
• Corrupting Cinderella – Continuation from ‘Slow Burn’ delves more into Rock and Hope’s relationship with further character and MC insight that definitely keeps you engaged. The secondary characters are coming more into focus as well along with more intrigue and action. Part 2 of 3.
Fantastic follow-up to Slow Burn. I continue to love Hope and her realistic reactions to the situations she finds herself in.
Wow what a great book you want more and more. By the time you finish this book you feel like you are a part of the family.
This is the 2nd book in the Lost Kings MC series! This is again about Rock and Hope but it also gives you a good insight of other members in his club. It’s a good follow-up book to Slow Burn. I love that this book is focused again on Rock and Hope and the building of their relationship through good times and hard times.
After a slow start in book 1 (which I realised wasn’t actually as slow as I thought when I read this )i really found my self loving this next book in the series. There was more Rock and Hope and more actually about them being a couple, now that they had moved forward. Rock was just so ….. Rock Protective Alpha Hot , a Leader among his MC Family. This was an amazing MC read and Im so glad that I came across The Lost Kings Series. I cannot wait to read the next instalment on the men in this bad arse biker club.
I love the fact that these two came from such totally different walks of life and that Hope had experienced such a profound loss and Rock was the one to bring her back and learn to love again. thank you Autumn Lake
The first words I think of for this book would be crash, bang, boom. Some might say this relationship is “a train wreak waiting to happen”! Hope and Rock have a lot of struggles in this book. This author has continued the awesome storyline that is truly an opposites attract romance. This is not your typical MC Romance of drug running, weapons, and sex trade. I found it to be a fun but frustrating at times, sexy, sweet, enjoyable read. The storyline is well developed with multi faceted, complex characters. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Absolutely fantastic story. Rock and Hope have their differences but their love is stronger than their different worlds. This ride was thrilling, romantic, and heartfelt.
What is better than 1 book about sexy alpha male bikers? 2 BOOKS ABOUT SEXY ALPHA MALE BIKERS! I love that some of the other characters are starting to find more of a voice. Absolutely love!
A Beautiful Representation of Building Love Despite the Odds… Sometimes opposites attract in a fiery ball of need and passion brighter than all the stars in the sky… But then the sun rises in the east, and under the light of day reality sets in and the task of day-to-day living smacks love right in the face. That’s what this second installment in Autumn Lake’s, Lost Kings MC series, “Corrupting Cinderella” is about, that space of life in-between falling in love and happily ever after.
As I wrote in my review of the first book in this series, Autumn Jones Lake is a different sort of MC writer. She does not rely on this sub-genre’s trope stereotypes, she bends and expands them into a bigger, more intense world that encompasses all the day-to-day beauty, tragedy, fear, passion, and insecurities a couple such as Hope and Rochlan would actually face. She brilliantly blurs the literary line between swoon worthy fiction and thoughtful realism, and pulls you in line by enchanting line.
Here again, Lake’s character development is flawless. She slowing marches the story forward with her painstaking construction of all of the players introduced onto her Lost King’s canvas. She continues to erect Rochlan and Hope’s world layer by delicious layer. She continues to humanize their shady realm of criminals, players, and “citizens”, creating a set of individuals so multifaceted they hold your attention all on their own. She methodically lays down this growing story brick by literary brick. She pulls you in chapter by glorious chapter, just as Hope is pulled farther into Rochlan’s world with every passing day.
I yearn for books that make me feel deeply and this series has not disappointed. You feel Hope’s uncertainty and inner turmoil in your own gut. Your heart pounds along with Rochlan at the thought of losing Hope to the realities of his world. You breath catches as you rejoice with them in the moments of shared passion and understanding. And you find yourself, perhaps unintentionally, rooting for them both despite knowing the consequences their union creates.
You also unintentionally become attached to other characters as well. That’s how intricately woven this story is as, here again, Park has created an MC universe far richer than anything I’ve read thus far. And it is a wonderfully beautiful, emotionally intelligent, gorgeously violent yet heartfelt world.
I can’t wait to dive into the next book!
Book#2 in the lost kings series,
Rock is trying to integrate Hope (gently) into his MS club, while one of his brothers tries to scare her, because he believes she is too innocent, The girls who are use to having Rock to themselves, and just the general craziness going on in a MC.
Can she navigate all of this?
I am really loving this series
Read: 11/4/19
Corrupting Cinderella was the second book in the Lost Kings MC series by Autumn Jones Lake. It’s also the second – but not final – part of Rock and Hope’s story.
I liked Rock better but it was still hard to like Hope and to see them together. Her innocence made her an idiot too frequently. The storyline in this second book was about furthering their relationship and overcoming their differences. It was a little too slow for me and needed more substance. It could easily have been shortened and incorporated into the first book – or possibly the next book – for a shorter but still enjoyable story.
I continued to enjoy how Lake incorporated other MC brothers into the storyline and I’m really looking forward to Z and Teller’s stories. Until then, there is more with Rock and Hope.
The story picks up where book 1 ended. The author does an excellent job of continuing to draw me in to Rock and Hope’s relationship. Rock continues to be the sweet, sensitive hero who respects Hope’s feelings. The only emotion Rock experiences during the conflict periods with Hope is fear that she will walk out on the relationship. This book ends with a happy for now ending. Book 3 will continue the relationship.
Hot hot hot! Love the lost Kings!
Rock and Hope story continues in this second installment, Corrupting Cinderella. It is hot!!! Rock is pure Alpha Male!! And I absolutely love all the men in the Lost Kings. Another fantastic read.
Autumn never disappoints…super sexy alphas, strong women and bonds that are unbreakable.
